I have had multiple issues with this location off and on Over the last three years. May be due to personnel changes not sure. I do not recomend. I am an Emerald Club Executive Elite member and rent cars for work 4 to 6 months of the year. I can say that even though this location is convenient and close I will not be using them anymore. Today was the last straw. I would rather have to drive twice as far to get respectful service. The employees were rude and sarcastic to my wife and that is unacceptable. Customer service was fine at facility, my problem comes from corporate, I received my rental and had to pay a deposit because of insurance so I did, even though I was sick and only drove care for 213 miles when it was time to return car they kept my deposit for some reason about insurance on truck, reps at store should be the ones to call customers not corporate they suck read more

Reserved a car for Oct 16. Called in and changed reservation to Oct 15. Due to unforeseen problems, I called the Lagrange office told them I had changed my reservation from the 16 to the 15, but I was not going to make it before they closed. That I would pick up the car on the original date Oct 16 about 9:30am. Was told no problem they would have it ready. Got there at 9:45 no car, no upgrade. Would have to wait for one to be serviced. Will do my very best to never use Enterprise again. update- received the response below and went to the web address given. It was just Enterprise normal page for chat and reservations. The staff management at Auburn Al have a very bad disposition I've been an enterprise customer for all my lifetime matters I'm having the situations with getting disrespected and care I'm receiving from the Auburn location First I was not put in a vehicle that was not safe and didn't have the proper maintenance free issues and to put salt to injury I had transport myself to the nearest Enterprise location to enroute to my appointment location Which I was told that they would accomadation me for the mishap I this came from the online reservation customer service department Then I had extended the vehicle for attentional days and communicated this thru the office I then received a quote on how much more and agreed to the terms I then informed the local location in Auburn Al of my plans as well and they became disgruntled and came to my home and towed the vehicle with my luggage and other items in the vehicle The lack of communication or whatever it is needs to be rectified They didn't want to hear anything I had to say and treats me like I was terrorist and tell me what I'm not welcome as a customer of there's anymore I feel that this facility needs to be trained on customer service relations I'm not a student here I'm a army retired resident in the state of Auburn Al Which I own my home here for the pass 15 yrs and retired for over 15 yrs I feel I earned that respect in society and as a recurring prime customer to just disregard and disrespected me after I communicate with you is unbecoming for your business and needs to be addressed immediately And my all my belongings return I also requested for the owner and CEO to communicate with me and was denied that request to communicate with them I was just hung up on serval times when I attempted to communicate with the location Why am I receiving this treatment Victimized Customer read more

The whole experience was horrible. From the lack of customer service to horrible communication. The staff showed no sense of urgency or resolution. We had a reservation for a vehicle that they didn't have and instead of contacting us to communicate the issue we had to wait just for them to tell us they didn't have the vehicle. I arranged a rental via insurance claim, picked it up this past Tuesday, and as I'm halfway home (literally a 5 minute drive from this Enterprise), the tire pressure light turns on. When I scroll through the dash panels, I see that one tire is reading 48, 2 at 35 where they should be, and one at 21. I don't think much about it other than I'll just put some air in it, no big deal. I put air in it the next day, drive to Newnan (about a 35 minute drive), and on the way there, the pressure drops again. When I return home, I fill it back up. The next morning before needing to go out of town to go house shopping where my new job is located, the pressure on the one tire is reading at 16. This time when going to put air in it, I hear the air start whooshing out of the tire somewhere and then the tire goes flat all together. When I called the branch to explain what happened, I was cut off by the little college age kid (Jacob) working the desk to be told that cold air does in fact affect tire pressure. I reassured him I was aware and cold air doesn't cause a flat. Then he told me that because I didn't get the protection package and drove the car home, that I must have picked up a nail and would be responsible for paying to have it towed to the tire shop they prefer and to have a new tire put on. I asked if there was proof that the car was properly inspected as he had mentioned the day I picked it up that it had just come back onto the lot and he said yes but that wasn't relevant as it wouldn't have the exact tire pressures recorded. It is very shady that the tire light came on right as I left the lot and I don't appreciate being spoken to as if I don't understand how tire pressure works and with no empathy. I am set to start a new job 4 hours away on December 2nd and as a result of this flat tire, ended up driving my severely damaged car to view homes to keep previously arranged appointments with a real estate agent. ​​When calling the 800 number for Enterprise roadside assistance, I of course got someone who doesn't speak great English and was very hard to understand which just added to the level of frustration. He told me that I can return the car with the spare on it which is not what Jacob told me when I called yesterday. This entire experience has been terrible, and I've used National/Enterprise for a couple years now with my job and never received such poor service or felt like safety was so incredibly undervalued as to send a car off after being incorrectly inspected, if it even was at all. ​ Edited to add: have been waiting since 1pm for someone to come handle the flat tire (it's now 8pm) and was called to be told I should switch to a tow request because there's no one available to change a flat tire. Then they had the audacity to tell me I have to be with the vehicle when it's towed when again, I'm getting ready to move and have things to do where I can't waste my day waiting. When I went to pick up the rental car for the beginning of the trip I did not have the correct credit card so a friend put it on his. This changed his name to the primary driver but the agent assured me that our other two drivers would stay on the contract as secondary drivers. I was the primary driver for the trip but would not be returning the car back to the location. When the card holder got the updated contract in his email, the original secondary driver was no longer listed and my name was there. I called Enterprise to speak with them and sat on hold for 30 minutes and then once I talked to someone the agent me that she couldn't do anything and I would have to go to a counter at a location nearby for them to add back the secondary driver in person. The issue there was ALL counter locations closed at 12:00 that day and I was the driver of a vehicle for a family vacation of 14 people and I was driving 7 of them so I couldn't leave them to go to a counter that was closed. I was not rude, loud, or using inappropriate language and she hung up on me! So I called back and waited another 30 minutes to tell the same story to a totally new agent to get the same answers for my problem...So this is the third time I have called enterprise and have spent over 3 hours of my vacation on the phone with your company..FINALLY I got to speak to a supervisor so I was feeling hopeful...but that was short lived..he put me on hold and came back 5 times before he said let me put you on hold and I stayed there for 15 minutes and finally got tired of waiting. Every agent I talked to kept telling me "there isn't a supervisor available for you to speak to, you have to go to a counter to make that change (for something that wasn't my fault to begin with) and the issue never got resolved. I will NEVER use Enterprise again after the way I was treated and the lack of willingness to assist me that happened. Also, I lost 3+ hours of family time and there was no compensation offered for the inconveniences, rude agents, and being hung up on TWICE for no reason! read more

I have rented cars all over the us, Canada and mexico. By far the worse one I've ever used is the Enterprise in Lagrange Ga. My insurance company insists we use them . I have used them on 5 different occasions between my wife and I and EVERY experience has been a bad one. If at all possible I would use someone/anyone else. Rented from them about a year and a half ago, swore I would never go back. But as circumstances would have it I needed to. What a difference, everyone was upbeat, helpful, accommodating. Not just to me but to everyone that walked through the door or they talked with on the phone. When I returned the car they remembered me and asked how the trip went. I was extremely pleased with the customer service I received from the team at Enterprise Car Rental last week. My son and I were on our way for a college visit to New Orleans from Atlanta when I inadvertently hit a piece of concrete on the interstate. Long story short - we had to stay overnight while insurance arranged for a tow truck to take my car back to Atlanta and to arrange for a rental car. Well, first I received a call from Jessica the evening prior to my reservation. She made me aware that they were out of cars...the car rental company that I had a reservation with was OUT OF CARS! Jessica informed me that I could call her at 7:30 the next morning and we could see what cars, if any, had been returned over night. Of course none made it back to the lot. I walked home from the shop where I dropped off my car and waited. Finally at 12:20 I received a call from Kevin stating that he had a car for me! It was a little Ford Focus. Not comparable to the car I drive. I informed him that for my needs I could not use the little car and needed one bigger. He said that is what my insurance company ordered for me. He then made me aware that he would call me IF a larger one came in. It's 3:00 and I'm stuck at the house. This is a car rental company that is out of cars. Like McDonalds running out of hamburgers! I had a reservation for 8AM and at 3PM still have nothing. Jessica and Kevin are great, but this is horrible business. I rent a lot of cars when I travel and I've never experienced such a mess. We needed a rental car while our car was being repaired and our insurance company arranged for our rental car. The first car we were given, a Nissan Sentra, looked great but smelled like smoke. We complained and they gave us another Sentra that smelled even worse. When we complained again they said it was just their cleaning solution and it would go away. The car smelled for the 3 days we had it. I can appreciate that it is difficult to get the cigarette smell out of a car but we do not smoke, hate the smell and do not want to ride around in a car that has that smell. We had previously rented a car from this Enterprise and had no problems but this experience was not good! I will think twice about using this agency again. read more

I rented a Toyota Corolla everything seemed fine. Price was around 39.00 plus tax & fuel per day. If you don't have full insurance on your personal vehicles, many credit card companies carry rental insurance call them and find out. It won't cost you a thing extra. They( car rental companys) will trying to sell you on their insurance anyway just say no. read more

The staff is friendly but they can do better at accommodating the customers. I just picked a car up from them yesterday and still have the car. I was explaining how i need a car close to what i drive and for my every day need for work. They told me that my insurances was only covering a certain type of cars. When they showed me the car, it was super small. I told the worker I'm not going to be able to drive that and asked if they have another car. He stated that's all they had in the intermediate size and that i will have to pay extra for the other type cars, which i understood ...but The car was unacceptable in its conditions and they knew that. I felt they just gave me whatever. The car had stains all over the seats and ceiling and the wear and tear on the outside is very noticeable. The car is dirty. took pictures for my safety, so they won't charge me for it. I even ask if i can swap the car out for another intermediate size car , when they get another in stock. They told me i have just keep checking in and see each day. I felt like after my complaints, there was no real solution to solving the problem. I understand i have to get what my insurance cover, but why put me a dirty car. I rented from them, plenty of times and never had trouble until now. read more

Our reservation went ok. The car was not very clean when we got it. There was gunk on the steering wheel and on the headliner on the passenger side and not vacuumed out very well. My real disappointment was when I returned it. We have pets but at no time were our pets in the car. They said there was fur in the car which was transfer fur from our clothing but not much. They wanted to charge us $75.00 for detailing. They did reduce it to $25.00 but still all they probably did was vacuum it out. 2 days later in another city rented from Enterprise again and their response was they shouldn't do that unless it was excessive. Same fur transfer and no charge. Will never rent from LaGrange Enterprise again! read more

If a company has changed their policy on picking up customers, they need to change their hold message and inform all employees of change. Reservation time should be changed to fill out paperwork and wait several hours. Reservation time means that a customer will be served and able to walk out with a car at that time! read more

This location is the worst one that iv ever dealt with. The manager and manager trainee Danille were very rude and thought everything was a joke. When i was explaining how filthy the car they wanted me to rent was, two other customers were in there complaining about service and the cleaning as well. Danielle started laughing in our face saying its just been a crazy day as if there was any humor in that. The manager who claims he had no business cards but i remember him and Danielle share the same last name, tried to convince us that she was laughing in regards to the hectic day not in tending to be rude. Liars clearly. There are other rental companies with better customer service. I also learned that enterprise has lost major contracts with big insurance companies due to their unprofessional staff and poor customer service! Save yourself the headache. Use another rental company, even dealerships here have started renting vehicles so try anyone but them and if u must, thoroughly check vehicles, make sure it's clean, dry, and running in good shape!
