Best customer service ever! Left an item in my rental, and Randall made sure it made it all the way back to Charlotte.

Absolutely the worst car rental ever every time I go in it's this young guy who states he doesn't have any cars to rent out which Is a lie when it's tons of cars outside! He called the cops on me for no reason when I clearly just ask for the managers phone number he yelled at me and told me to get out, he call 911 & lied to them about the whole 3 minute ordeal! I will never use this place again. Tried to talk to the manager about some customer service issues. He was extremely rude. He told us we could leave. We did and we won't be back. Update- the owner said we did not run the car in with a full tank of gas. He lied. I found this out when I got a bill for an $85 refueling fee. I have been disputing this charge for 6 weeks. Avis claims to have refunded my money, but they have not. Please do not use this location. They will rip you off. Avis corporate will not help you. Without doubt, the worst car rental experience I have ever had, after renting cars all around the country. Not once, but three times, I have had absolutely horrible customer service from associates who do not care, seem untrained, are extremely young and inexperienced and have no idea how to do business with adults. Today was the ultimate, as we returned a car and had the customer service provider literally yell "FULL TANK?" At us as we walked in. He was wearing a Bluetooth device, which made it unclear whether he even meant that for us or someone on his phone. He was wearing a backward hat, running shorts and a dirty t-shirt. I asked who the owner was, and he stated that it was him. As I tried to clearly (and directly, but without profanity or hostility) tell him what our problems had been and how terrible our experience had been multiple times, he became extremely defensive and hostile. He told me that I was rude to him. He told me to leave his store and leave my wife to finish conducting our transaction. Absolutely shameful customer service. Do not rent from here, even if you have no other choice and are in an emergency. The worst, and I've never posted a negative yelp review before. Update: 24 hours later: We happened to catch a refund for an extra driver we had not received yet. We learned THAT WE WERE BEING CHARGED FOR A FULL TANK OF GAS EVEN THOUGH IT WAS RETURNED FULL!!!! thankfully Avis corporate customer service accepted a copy of the gas station transaction as proof we had filled up. Terrible, just terrible. Reserved a car 10 days in advance. They called to say we couldn't get it at the arranged time, but 2 hours later. Said they would call if something came in earlier. Go there and they had NO CARS. Didn't bother to call and we drove from a different town. I don't see how they are even in business with this kind of service. Do NOT use this company. Horrible customer service on the Budget side. We had reserved a car online and paid online. At the desk they asked to verify the last four digits of the credit card used to book. Not knowing the exact credit card, we have them a couple of wrong cards before giving them the correct one. By that time we gave them the correct Number they had locked us out of the system and said they could not rent us a card without selling us at the higher walkin rate.
