I want to sincerely thank HUNTER at Enterprise for going above and beyond to help my family during one of the most important moments of my life. We needed a minivan or large SUV so my whole family could travel to Waco, Texas, for my doctoral graduation. From the beginning, Hunter understood how important this event was to us and made sure our reservation was properly set up. Unfortunately, on the morning we were supposed to pick up the vehicle, the reserved car was no longer available. Instead of simply delivering the bad news and moving on, Hunter called me personally at 7:30 AM to explain the situation. What impressed me most was that he immediately started working on solutions. He spent time contacting several Enterprise locations to search for the right vehicle for my family. After making multiple calls, Hunter finally found the perfect SUV at another location and made sure the employees there understood our situation and were ready to assist us. Because of his dedication, professionalism, and genuine care, my family was still able to make the trip comfortably and enjoy my graduation celebration without stress. Customer service like this is rare today. HUNTER turned what could have been a disaster into a smooth and memorable experience for my family. So when I dropped my car off to the repair shop, enterprise brought me my rental car, unfortunately it smelled like a barn in it, like someone stepped in something. So we had to follow the guy back to the enterprise and wait for another car. When we received the 2nd car we inspected it and it had a cracked tire which could easily cause a blow out on the freeway, I was a lil disappointed that they didn't see and fix this before offering it to another person. Waited a bit more and finally they got me in a car that was ok. It's convenient that enterprise drops off your car, and the service was ok, it's just the other problems I listed above that I had a problem with which disappointed me. See the attached pic of the tire with the cracks. UPDATE I added a star because my bf had lost his cell phone and it was dead. I kept calling it until one day it actually range instead of going straight to voicemail, it was enterprise!! After Hurricane Beryl I was in desperate need of a rental. I went to the Meyerland location and to my surprise they had no electricity but were still open under those circumstances. They had two cheerful and accommodating employees, MeKayla and Deszi. The ladies were sweating profusely but still smiling despite the heat. After my truck died suddenly back in April, I was forced to rent a car for a couple of weeks until I figured out whether to fix it or invest in a new car. I was in a rush to get to Galveston, and went to the closest Enterprise. Luckily I received terrific and fast service at this location. Celeste helped me get a rental and get on the road in no time. She was very professional and courteous as well. I was able to extend the reservation with no issues because I needed the rental for longer than I expected. When I returned the vehicle, we did a quick scan of the body to make sure there were no new dents or scratches, and then she closed the reservation. Pro tip: if you have the Chase Sapphire preferred or Reserve card, you can opt out of the rental insurance as long as you use your card to pay for the rental. This particular agency refused to pick me up from a location that was 5 miles directly South of them, saying that another agency was supposed to. The other agency was 11 miles away from my pick up location and they were more than happy to take the extra time to drop me off and pick me up despite the fact that it was clearly beyond their responsibility. I can't help but ascertain that had my pick up location been 5 miles directly North, in upper-class Galleria, that this Braeswood agency would have had no problem following their "we pick you up" slogan. It seems likely this agency will not stoop to making runs outside the loop and into unfriendly minority-rich South Houston. Management needs to investigate this agency. read more

The problem I have with Enterprise at this location is the scant choice of vehicles, having to book ahead of time to make sure the car would be there when you were, and of course, an under-staffed office, ... unless their business model is low cost and high wait. Received excellent service here and we were even able to receive a significant upgrade from the vehicle we originally chose. Ended up getting a roomy, mid sized SUV for about $137/week, which was a steal! They even gave the person ahead of us a truck for the price of a small car. read more

Last Monday was an exceptionally awful day for me. The call center for Enterprise had taken my reservation around 2 pm for a 430 pick up time, but there were no cars available when I arrived. A coworker had already dropped me off and I had no ride home. Ronnie Washington and the two other gentleman working with him remained professional, courteous, understanding, and kept a smile on their face for the entire 2 hours I was there. I watched them work very hard to correct the mistakes of others and did their best to make the customer happy. Surprising to me, I never got upset b/c it was difficult to be mad at people trying to problem solve with smiles on their faces and a genuine happy disposition. In the end, Ronnie let me take his car home and he caught a ride with another coworker. Thank you guys for being awesome! **I would have given 5 stars, but I took off a star because Enterprise should not be taking reservations without checking with their local office to see if cars are available.** read more

My experience with this place is very unpleasant! If I can, I rather give them 0.25 star if its possible. I had reserved a midsized (intermediate level) car here online on Tuesday, August 10th, 2010 for pickup today (Friday, August 13th, 2010). So being car less, my girlfriend picks me up to take me to this location to pick up my car. Once entering into this establishment-- I had bad customer service. The lady behind the counter didn't even ask me if she can help me. Five minutes went by, she notices that I was the only one there (but mind you, no one was in that office when I was there), she had asked me for my confirmation number. I was so excited that I was going to get my rental car to drive for the weekend. Once my reservation pulls up, she had told me that I had rented a economy car which is a mistake because on my reservation it said midsized. Then she tells me that I am going to get Nissan Versa (which is a compact car), and she explained to me that its a compact car. Then I was telling her that since I'm down grading I should get a discount or something because that is not what I ordered. So, she goes back and tells me that a Nissan Versa is not a compact car and that its a intermediate which is false because on the counter it shows that right there in front of our faces that its a compact car. She tells me that they need to change it because that's incorrect. Which online STATES that a NISSAN VERSA is compact. (*Shaking my head...still not getting it at all) Then I am having problem with her because she wants me to give her a recent check stub, a utility bill, and $350 deposit. All of this for a major credit card or debit card? Still confused because I've ordered from them before, and so has my corporate company. She pissed me off with giving me a attitude and I guess it was a sign not to get the car or something because I went through so much hassle just to get a car for the weekend since I'm car less became a nightmare. So, once I get to my office... I started calling the place again demanding to speak the branch office manager, and he is trying to define what she says and tries to fix it but it just doesn't help at all. Maybe its because she canceled my reservation and he can't go in there and looked at it. Then he goes and talked to the asst. manager and comes back and tells me that the reason why she asked for that is because my driver license is from California. WTFudge!!! I lived in Houston, Texas. Why would I have a driver license from Cali. She was giving her managers false information which she knows that she made the mistake. The branch manager was trying to help me and keep me as a customer but I told him that first impression is always great for customer service and obviously, I didn't get that and there's no second chance for me to go back to that branch. Still unhappy, I called the corporate office and demanded that I talk to the regional manager. I was out of luck and basically asked them if this is common for visa/debit card holders, and to see when they changed this and how come its not on the website. Then talked to technical support which was trying to help me but really didn't because on their website does not mentioned anything AT ALL!!!! GRRRRHHH!!! All of this just ruined my day. This place is a catastrophe. I keep using it because my work uses enterprise and it is the closest one near me. On 2 separate occasions I have spent over an hour waiting to complete my order. I have nothing but happy thoughts for these young men that were on duty on Thursday June30. Marques was very accommodating in helping me find a car that I felt comfortable. I HATE the bucket seats, but not their problem. The rental agreement was rewritten, not sure why, but price remained the same. found out sometime down the line(on the car id tag, that I had an intermediate car when my conformation called for a full size car. When I called to get the address to send the evaluation, (didn't have time when returning car), I mentioned this. Nero didn't either, so said he would seee about getting an adjustment for me. The staff is slow, and not sincere; and they really seem that they just don't care. Today I attempted to pick up a rent car from them, and again, the car was first not on the lot; and then it had to be cleaned and filled with gas. Reserved online which was a breeze. However, it took them over two hours to pick me up and I live less than 3 miles away. I rented a full size sedan from the Intercontinental Airport. About 24 hours later I asked to rent a different sedan, or go up to a luxury sedan. I did not like the car I had for different reasons. I called the location closest to where I was staying and the service was very unaccommodating. They said they had no cars and would get no more cars. I was told that I had to go back to the airport to find another car. I called several other Enterprise rentals in the city and was told the same thing by all of them. This location said that the more cars would be delivered from the airport but only small 2 door sedans and they would not deliver a car to replace my sedan. I did it on line and the actual location I rented from sent me to a different location but when I confirmed at the one I thought I was suppose to be at Dana was very sweet and made all the changes. Left a pair of designer sunglasses-in a bright, hard to miss case on front seat-at return late fri. Didn't realize until after close fri and they are closed on the weekend. Called early mon and was told to come in to look in lost and found-no sunglasses. Not in car either (car still there) My only other thought is that an employee liked them and kept them. read more

This is a great location with very courteous staff, and the cars are always clean with low mileage.

I rented a car there on Feb. 21st. Because it was a Saturday, they were extremely busy. The parking around the building is scarce for customer parking, which was frustrating. The car was not completely cleaned up inside, the console sticky with soda and looked well used considering it only had 9k miles. When I returned the car on Monday, I complained of this & they gave $5 off the rental. The saving thing about the whole experience was a call from them later to let me know I left my camera in the car. That was nice! read more

I rented a car from this office after a bad experience at Dollar, which should not be in business. They are professional, do not try sleazy upsell tactics, and honor prebookings. The staff also made sure I was happy with the car they gave me. Getting the rental car and returning it were easy and problem-free. The staff were also polite, helpful, and friendly. I've rental several times from this Enterprise location, and every time I've been a very satisfied customer. My family only has one car, so I rent a car when my car needs repairs/maintenance. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who checked me in on Monday, but his customer service was outstanding. Yesterday when I went to return the car, my day was terribly frazzled from picking up two sick kiddos from school and taking them to the doctor and to get meds. I was a mess by the time I made it to enterprise to turn in my car. Kim was incredibly compassionate, helped me load my children in the minivan they were going to take us home in, and she generously forgave my 1 hour late in returning the vehicle bc of my circumstances. Not only have I had wonderful experience there with the staff renting a car, yesterday put the customer service experience over the top. A big shout out to Enterprise staff at N. Braeswood!
