In their defense, it is Mardi Gras weekend and I understand that demand is high for car rentals but it's still discouraging. The people I worked with were nice and polite. The price was fair and considerably cheaper that at airport. Only downfall so far is when they showed me my options of cars, they didn't seems clean. The inside of one I liked smelled of stoned cigarette and had deep stains all over the interior seats. Not very pleasing to customers. When I dropped off my personal vehicle at the collision center I was brought back to Enterprise to complete the paperwork. The vehicle I was given was not comparable to my personal vehicle and when I called to discuss the fact that the vehicle will not be sufficient I was told that what I received was what this location had available. It appears that no thought was given to what my needs were during my previous inquiry. Now I have spent an entire day trying to locate a specific vehicle to fit my needs since I was told that Enterprise does not have a centralized inventory of which locations have specific vehicles. So I wasted my day making phone calls to every location in a 50 mile radius to find out that only one location had what I needed and he said I would have to get there asap since he could not hold the vehicle for me. I'm 50 miles away and they were closing in an hour. What a joke of a company! Never again. 6/5/25 Edit: So Enterprise responds with a generic reply and here is my message back to them. "So do you think a generic response on this format will send a positive response to the general public? I'm not calling your customer service number to waste my time speaking to a low level representative to attempt to resolve this matter. If you are really concerned you would do more!" Normally any location an agent will walk around the car with you and do a walk through and note any damage but not today! The car was nice and clean and I didn't think to walk around and take pictures! Let alone the front desk agent or even the agent at the booth didn't mention anything about filling out a damage form. As I went Togo return the car at 1pm same day. An agent ( Kenny) so the managers says was nasty! Rude and unfriendly. I'm not saying this because I'm upset but the whole approach saying he didn't have a damage report and that I did this was uncalled for!
