Total dump when it comes to customer service. Make sure if you make a reservation to pickup a vehicle you call to make sure they have a payment system working or you will be stuck waiting for hours. I needed a car during a recent Allstate insurance claim and took over a week to shop for a rental agency. After calling every place in NWI from Merrillville to Hammond and visiting a couple in person, the differences were pretty stark. I truly wanted to give a smaller company my business but Enterprise earned it handily. Do yourself a favor and come here for a shining example of "trickle-down customer service". This facility has an outstanding manager named Craig and his team made things simple for me from grabbing the initial black sedan, to swapping into a convertible, to the final vehicle drop off. They were professional on the phone during normal business hours, excellent in person and eager to make certain my experience went well throughout my 45 day repair period. In fact, I was in this place 3 different times and I never saw an unhappy customer thanks to the high level of direct, comfortable engagement from this staff. I can offer no knocks on the employees or this particular branch as a whole. The only thing that prevents me from giving Enterprise 5 stars is their lack of actual "premium" or "luxury" vehicles. read more

Please rent somewhere else not here. We have been waiting for our refund for a month now and they did not give our money back after over charging us. They gave us an Ipass that doesn't work we end up paying cash all the time. We rented the car for 3 days May 9-12,2017 pick up time 4 pm but since the first car says rare view camera is not functional we have to wait for an hour to get a replacement. On the 12th We called to extend one more day ,we called and ask for one day extension and its only fair to return it same time we left and got the car 5pm. The operator said you can leave the key in our key drop box since we close at 1:30 pm on Saturday's and will settle on Monday. When we came to settle our payment the staff told us that they will charge us for the days we left the car unsettled because it says we are responsible for the car when their office is close. they charge us 2 more days. That is so unfair and unjust. I called their corporate office and the operator told me that what they did is was wrong and they should give us the 2 days full refund. but then until today it has been over a month no refund was made. Picture attached: in the pink paper they gave us it says black edge vehicle but what we really got was a Nissan rouge its not even stated on their records here. they charged us 6 days when we rented and used the car for just 4 days. We returned it after four days same time even a bit earlier than when we got the car. No refund ! its been a month now. they are inconsiderate, and unfair. Also, they didn't even gave us any official receipt. I hope and Pray it will never happen to anyone else. read more

Had a great experience at Enterprise. My car broke the night before I needed to drive about 200 miles to a meeting and I went online at 7pm and reserved a car. When I got there everything was set and they even had an upgrade for only $1 more! I had a Nissan Sentra which was really nice, backup camera and everything. I ended up wanting to keep the car for another day and all I had to do was call and let them know. They made everything super easy, will definitely be back when I need a ride:) read more

Let me first say that whenever I rent a car the first place I call is Enterprise and the first branch I reserve cars is the Highland branch. Enterprise consistently has the most solid selection of vehicles and outstanding customer service. My only problem has been lately the staff checking you out push a little too hard for the additional coverages. I know they do it in the interests of the renter but they also make a lot of cash off these up sales. I realize they are probably being pushed a little from higher ups and then that gets pushed down to t he customer. Won't change my mind about enterprise for now. But, it is a little annoying. That said, I really do love this branch. Have never had a problem with them that wasn't quickly addressed and resolved. read more

I guess I am one for cleanliness. They have signs posted everywhere for all of the extra charges you will incur if you bring the car back dirty or smoke smelling. Based upon the appearance of their showroom (hasn't been vacuumed in months!!), I can see cleanliness is not a priority at the Highland Enterprise. There were muddy footprints on the dash, the car wasn't vacuumed very well, we didn't want to investigate the mysterious brown smears in the back on the ceiling!! I gave them 4 stars instead of 3 because when I told the manager he credited me one day. read more

I was charged over $65 a day for a car. I wouldn't have minded so much I the would have told me that before I gave them my bank card. They gave me a $86 quote for 3 days. But when we got in the car the price change to over $200. Hurtz is cheaper and the give you coverage opinions that will save you money! You live and you learn! read more
