Stopped in to see about a rental because my car was involved in an accident. At the time of my inquiry the gentleman that helped me made me aware that I would still have to put the deposit down and that insurance wouldn't cover the total cost. I returned later to reserve the rental. The process was smooth and easy. Before you know it I was driving away in the rental. Over the weekend it rained and I learned one of the wiper blades didn't work. I was informed that I would have to return for an exchange. At that time they didn't have any vehicles. Before the close of day it was exchanged as well as they did the switch so that the party held liable for the accident insurance was applied to cover my rental. Cars are rarely available and cars they do have are old, dirty, and filled with cigarette smoke. The car that you rent on the app is not the car you will end up getting and even if you do reserve a car it is not guaranteed that a car will be available for you. Do not recommend renting a car here for "personal use", this location is only good for people who are in desperate need of something for insurance purposes. First experience with the location we needed to be transferred to multiple cars as the clean one we rented would not start. When they ended up transferring a car from a new location for us, it was almost unbearable how dirty and smoke filled the car was. Without exaggeration, we had friends and family members who would not get in the car because the smell was so overpowering. We had to drive on the highway with all the windows open to try to air it out. Even if Enterprise staff had time to "clean" the car to their standards, it would be impossible to get the stench of cigarette smoke out. The manager (young woman, Oct/Nov 2022) went above and beyond to make sure that we were compensated for our horrible experience, so we decided that we would try the location out again if we ever needed it. Second experience was short and even more disappointing. I made a reservation on the app 2+ weeks in advance to grab a car at noon on Friday through the weekend. I called the branch at 10am to confirm my car for noon pick up and the person who answered the phone abruptly told me that there are no cars available. I corrected her and said that I already had a reservation and she said that it "doesn't matter, we don't reserve or hold cars for reservations" "you just get any car that we have on the lot when you come in to pick it up, we can't hold cars for someone with a reservation" "we're independently operated so we can't transfer a car from another location for you". I was shocked! If I hadn't called 2 hours in advance and confirmed my reservation then I would have shown up at that location at my scheduled pick up time and they would have sent me away. The young woman on the phone then transferred me to a different enterprise location where I had to wait a solid 10 min on hold until they could help. I thought my first experience here getting a dirty smoke filled car was a fluke but now I realize that getting ANY car from this location is lucky since you just have to be there in the store waiting at the exact right time when another person drops of a car. Reservations don't matter, the car you choose on the nice app doesn't matter, you can't get ahold of the local office if there's a problem, it's all just a mess. 2/5 stars since you can get lucky and have a great experience but do not recommend based on inconsistency of car and service. read more

He was super friendly and courteous. Smiled the entire time. He showed tremendous empathy for my situation and gave nothing but a helping hand. Let me begin this review by stating I have used enterprise in the past 6 months twice and have had no issues. So recently my car has had to have some work completed on it and i needed to get a rental car. I called and spoke to a gentlemen whose name will not be mentioned in this review, about renting a vehicle. I needed it just for today at 2:00 until tomorrow at the same time. Everything seemed fine during the reservation. Then he asked me if i was paying with a debit card and i told him yes, i was. He then said well then you need to provide a pay stub from your current employer and the address on your license must match the address on your pay stub. I explained to him i had just moved and i had a change of address card however i haven't changed my address on my pay stubs yet, mainly because there was no need to,they are electronic. This arrogant man then proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do for me. He told me we do not rent out vehicles when the address's do not match on both documents. I then explained to him i just rented a vehicle in february when my convertible top was being resealed from the snow and my address's have not changed since then. I did not have a problem when renting only a few months ago. he then told me oh well and that there was nothing he could do. So i asked him if he could speak with a manager, he then told me no he is not going to do that it would be a waste of his time, he knows the rules and there is nothing he can do to help me. So at this point i became very upset with this man. i asked him if i could speak with a manager and i was given the same response. i then called him by his name and told him you have two options at this point you are refusing to allow me to speak with a manager and you are telling me that i am not worth speaking to a manager about. i told him he needed to give me the number to customer relations and instead he gave me some guys name and a number to contact if i had an issue with his customer service. Needless to say the number was not the number to customer service and at this point I am completely finished with enterprise. i will call customer support and explain my situation. they really should take time to train these employees on customer satisfaction and how to speak with people. After all they are a business, they want our money. Why in the world would i want to spend any of my money there again after i was so blatantly disrespected by someone who is paid to take care of a customer. i am officially finished with enterprise and will thus forward take my business to other rental companies. I've been renting cars a lot lately and, thus, have had experience with different rental companies. Enterprise's personnel at York Road are wonderful to deal with. Joy is very friendly and accommodating. I'm glad to have had their help in my times of need when my car was unavailable. read more

They're always punctual [the times I may need a pick up] and no matter who I work with, they always give me their business cards and assure me that I am welcome to give them a call for whatever I need. Vehicles are always clean. They break down all aspects of the vehicle. I rent from this location often so it feel good to walk in & they recognize you. Overall A+. I had to get car repairs therefore my vehicle had to be shopped for 7 days and Devin a smooth transition into one of there nice and comfortable vehicles. Thanks To Devin. Terrible experience!! I called about a week ahead of time to reserve a car at 8:45am on the day of my scheduled car repair. On the day of the repair, I waited outside the body shop (not in a great area of town) for about 10 minutes, until 8:55am and then gave Enterprise a call to make sure my rental was en route. I stated that I had schedule a rental to meet me there at 8:45am and just wanted to check in. I was told "Oh, you're at the body shop now?! We'll send someone right over." I then waited another 20 minutes, until 9:15am, during which time the body shop employees became concerned and called Enterprise again. Enterprise told the body shop that my appointment was for 9am, not 8:45am, and that they were on their way. I waited until 9:20am, 35 minutes after they were supposed to meet me, and then I called and cancelled the rental and walked home. While I was waiting, the body shop shared with me that this Enterprise location is generally "hit or miss" and "sometimes they forget" appointments. I should note that the rental car eventually did show up, as I was walking home, but since it had been over 30 minutes and I was frustrated, I opted to just walk at that point.
