I rented from this location. The car broke down within two miles and became undrivable. I was stranded outside in the cold for about three hours waiting for Enterprise Roadside Assistance, which made me miss an important hangout and completely ruined my evening. When I finally got back to the branch, the person at the checkout made comments implying I should have purchased tow insurance, even though the vehicle failed mechanically. Instead of helping resolve the issue, it felt like I was being guilted for something that wasn't my fault. She then charged me for the tow, even though Enterprise did not charge me for any repairs or damages. That suggests they did not consider the breakdown to be renter-caused. Customer service told me afterward that a case would be filed, but I never heard back and I'm still trying to get the towing fee refunded. If you rent here, clarify how towing works during mechanical failures, because none of that was explained to me at checkout. read more

I wish I could say my experience at this Enterprise location was smooth, but unfortunately, it was the exact opposite. I came in after being involved in a car accident -- not at fault -- and was directed here by the liable party's insurance. Already dealing with stress, I expected professionalism and clarity. What I received was confusing, pushy, and frankly, disappointing. I had a confirmed reservation and had requested a Toyota Camry well in advance, only to be told upon arrival that none were available. Oddly enough, there was a Camry on the lot the entire time. It felt like I was being pushed into an upsell, which is the last thing someone recovering from an accident wants to deal with. What truly caught me off guard was the visible travel-sized bottle of wine sitting behind the front counter -- not something I ever expected to see at a car rental business. I even made a light joke about it, trying to keep things cordial, but internally I was alarmed. The overall tone of the visit left me feeling unheard and uncomfortable. I've never had a rental experience that made me feel so uneasy -- and I've rented with Enterprise many times before with no issue. I've filed a formal complaint with corporate and hope they investigate this location seriously. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but this one was warranted. If you're assigned to this location by an insurance company, I recommend advocating for an alternative if possible. read more

Last weekend I rented a Premium Elite SUV for what was supposed to be a two days to drive to DC for a conference. I was given an older Mercedes SUV and charged over $100 a day for the vehicle. The vehicle not only has a mild odor of smoke but the passenger window and trunk button were missing. The vehicle had not been thoroughly cleaned, nor did it have a navigation system, apple car play, or keyless entry. Overall the vehicle was extremely dated to be a luxury rental car. Because it was a Saturday and the location closed 30 minutes before pick up, I overlooked these things, however after just a few minutes of driving the vehicle started to make an odd noise and an alert on the dash indicated the vehicle was 400 miles overdue for maintenance. Also an alert showed the key battery needed replacement as well. I called customer service about this issue and was told they would reach out to the location and have someone contact me. No one ever reached out. In fact when I contacted customer service back I was told the location simply closed out the ticket without a response. This is not the type of customer service enterprise is known for. Nothing was done to rectify this and no one even reached out to apologize. I was charged $124 for a vehicle that was only driven 73 miles to the airport to receive a new rental vehicle (I also had to pay for the new pick up). As an avid renter I'm so very disappointed. Absolutely the biggest rip off. They claim I did damage to the under part of the rental car. They turn cars around so quickly, they didn't even look now they're trying to charge me $5000. If you ever have to rent from this location take a video of everything and ask them to put the car on the lift and video underneath. Absolutely terrible! read more

Recently ordered a rental car from enterprise back when I had an accident in March. I received such wonderful service from them. They're very responsive with their calls and do everything they can to get you into a nice car. When I went they only had minivans available, and I wanted a smaller car so the manager informed me that I would receive a call as soon as a different car pulled in. Luckily, as soon as I was headed out, a smaller car pulled in for me to drive. I was impressed that they cared about pleasing me as a customer and making sure I was comfortable driving the car I wanted. When I dropped my car off, I was planning on taking an Uber back to my apartment and they offered to drop me off since I lived in the area, which was super nice. Friendliest service I've received and I would definitely rent from them again! read more

Kaitlyn was exceptionally helpful to me at a critical time. I had just had my 2nd child and the 1st day I was able to drive, my brother in law crashed into my car. Enterprise was on the case right away after hearing from my insurance to provide our family and our newest addition a vehicle that would work for our needs and Kaitlyn even helped unload and load all the baby, kid and dog items for me. She waited for me to nurse my newborn and chatted with my other daughter before needing to go between the rental location and the repair shop and she was very kind to explain everything clearly to me about how the situation would be handled. I reserved an economy car which they were out of at the time of pick up and helped me out with a Mustang upgrade. I came here after having a horrible experience trying to rent at the Hertz across the street. The associates at this location were so friendly and happy to help me in any way they could. They even had complimentary water bottles and soft pretzels the day I was there. I rented the vehicle and when I returned I had a little damage to the vehicle, they were understanding that accidents happen and seemed more concerned in making sure everyone was ok. I would love to give them less than a star ! Terrible experience! They don't tell you anything about the contract you sign. In addition, they provide poor customer service. I had to call over 5 times to get an issue resolved and they still have not resolved it yet. I'm almost too frustrated to call again! They charged me almost $100 for their insurance which I did not want and which I told them before signing the contract. I'm still getting their bills in the mail even though the assistant manger told me the issue is resolved. They also wanted to send me an email confirmation stating that I don't owe them any money but I'm still waiting. -.- I'm waiting since the end of October. And I still have to deal with it. read more

The entire staff was friendly, professional and helpful. This was my first time renting a car. I booked via a third party online. I was nervous that my car type would not be available and I'd be forced to upgrade. I was also nervous that I'd be dealing with a bunch of men who talk fast and try to run game. None of this happened! I did upgrade because I last minute wanted a bigger car. The female rep did not pressure me and recommended the car I might want. She said the car I booked might work but I could pick from anything I saw (which I did & had no issue upgrading). She even explained what type I would be looking for so I can pick the right car the next time. I did not sense any hostility for declining their insurance and extra services. They have a had a lot of turnover lately, and unfortunately, the new manager is in way over their head, and their new hires are horrible....After renting a car every week for 19 months, I will not be going back.... Twice in the last month they DID NOT have a car available for me even though I had a reservation, and my last two rentals were NOT CLEANED.... Top it off with a bogus, cracked bumper claim, where they charged me $500!!!.... And well, good bye Enterprise....You used to be the best....With your current staff at this location, you are now the worse in my opinion.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From 2016... The employees here are fine....However, *BE VERY CAREFUL*....A broken mirror lens cost me $364. If you rent here, *PAY FOR THE INSURANCE*. The manager here, Lauren Lieber her name is, is listing $40 cars on this branch's website for rent and then when you get there all of a sudden they only have Audi's available, which I question the legality of. I just got ripped off for two weeks and they completely ruined my honeymoon. I got married yesterday and spent my morning at enterprise trying to keep the guy washing the car from rifling through wedding gifts that were in the trunk. read more

In response to the request by Enterprise for more information: On July 23 I visited the location at approx. 11 a.m. and one of the managers, Alex, quoted a price on a minivan of $119.95 per day for five days. At approx. 1 p.m. I called to make a reservation only to find out a reservation had already been made in my name, only the price was now $179.95 per day. I visited the location later that afternoon, negotiated a lower price with Alex ($140 per day), and made a reservation, but it was not a pleasant or friendly experience. When I asked which make of minivan the reservation was for, the female manager said she couldn't tell me. When I asked which minivan had the largest cargo capacity, both she and Alex insisted that all minivans had the same capacity. I insisted that this was not true, and the female manager pretended to look up cargo capacities, then fabricated information to answer my question. The female manager also informed me that she would be putting a hold on my credit credit of $900; $200 more than the rental fee. When I said that never happened to me before, she claimed it was standard practice. I left the location, found another car rental business with better service and a much lower rate, and cancelled the reservation with Enterprise by phone on July 25. On July 27, the female manager called me to ask when I was picking up the rental, claiming she had no knowledge that I had cancelled the reservation two days before. I made a reservation for a full size and when I showed up 30 minutes before my scheduled time , the car was not available and had not been returned. I was offered an SUV which I really did not want. I had a choice of waiting an indeterminant time for the car to return or take a low mpg SUV. Generally Enterprise is very reliable but this location seems to be too small to cover their reservations. We recently used Enterprise while my car was being repaired from being hit. The experience was excellent. Jim Burke helped us the day we received our rental. He was nice and made sure we were comfortable and answered all questions. Dropping the car back off was simple and the man who helped us then was also incredibly pleasant. I used the Glenside PA location for an early morning pickup and was greeted on time and everyone at the office were helpful in my transaction. They actually look you in the eye when they speak!!!! This is the first time I've rented from this location. My experience started off on the wrong foot, but got better later. It would be nice if this location had more cars to choose from instead of not having a choice when it came to the vehicle I ended up with. My return experience was excellent, and the person there should be training all of the employees here. I'm not sure of the employees name, but she was in the office when I returned the rental on the afternoon of Thursday, May 26, 2016.
