After hitting a deer I needed a car for 16 days while mine was being repaired. I called for a quote and reservation. The Lady was nice and helpful. The first vehicle they brought out stunk to high heaven, but the next was acceptable. After three days I received a call requesting I come in and pay additional funds due to some mix up with the insurance company. I wasn't happy but complied after getting it straight with the insurance company. The clerk Jason has no business working with the public. He claimed to be the manager (lie) and tried to increase the price per day for the car, all while smirking at me. This dude needs a job with a shovel. When I turned the car in I dealt with the original clerk (Matthew) who straightened out the price per day issue. He was very professional and apologetic for his coworker's rude behavior. My advice, go elsewhere. read more

Wouldn't recommend to anyone. The representatives at this location are incredibly rude. I had a reservation almost a month in advance, showed up and they said they canceled it. After redoing my reservation (for a full size car or larger) they went and grabbed an older super tiny mitsubishi. The car struggled to even start and was clicking when it was idling and they were expecting us to be able to safely drive a car with a motor knock over 1000 miles. They also DOUBLED the charge at pickup( what was supposed to be $350 for 4 days they were trying to charge me $700). Ended up leaving without a car because that's 'all they had to offer' while showing another customer MULTIPLE large SUV's. The car they were trying to give us shouldn't even be an option on their lot. Assuming this was all because of my age (21) but I have had 2 other cars from enterprise at other locations and never had to pay 'deposits' or double fees. read more

My wife got a rental from here to drive for a business trip she is in the medical field. First of all the car smelled so bad of marijuana that she would be searched if she got pulled over you could smell it 4 feet away with the door open. When my wife commented on this the staff just giggled may I note I have no problem with marijuana but she had to wash all her clothes she packed when she got to the destination just because she smelled like she had a family of skunks rode with her. Ok I know people smoke fine all is well you do you but to send this car out in this condition was unprofessional but then it gets worse she was instructed to return it with 3/4 tank of fuel as she received it and it only had a half a tank which we documented. When she arrived at her destination she turned the heat on and roaches flooded out the HC and one came out of her jacket at her new job and people saw this. The car is being returned where she is that's all I have to say. My comment to this establishment be professional you knew this car was not fit to rent out in the condition it was in. read more

I rent a car from this location whenever I'm in the Chattanooga area. Every single time it is a flawless and stress free check in and check out. The employees are quick and friendly. I'm usually out the door driving within 10-15 minutes. They are prepared and greet me outside when pulling back in to return the car. There are no hidden fees, surprise add-ons or hard sells. If they say my cost is $120 for 4 days, it's never a penny more. I mention this because I've had this problem with other companies. I will always be a loyal Enterprise customer. read more

Very disappointed. I called to inquire about a certain type of vehicle (I needed a compact car), and the rep told me they had "plenty of cars... so come on." I got there and was told they had nothing in the class I requested, he was very rude and wanted to upgrade me to a vehicle at much higher cost. He seemed to know that I needed a car and would be forced to take whatever they had. This used to be a great Enterprise location, but this type of deceit is awful. I did not rent there, and will not rent from Enterprise again if this is the type of sales tactic they allow now. read more

So I had to rent a car through here after someone hit me in my brand new car. First I was given a Nissan Altima,it was not the cleanest, had a weird transmission issue but I took it anyway (first mistake I know) well a few days later the tire was flat,had to go back and get another rental. Fast forward they put me in a Chevy Malibu. This rental had a terrible smell , had outside body damage,but at this point I just needed a car . Well not even a week later the tire is flat AGAIN. There were no nails or anything and it looks as if it had been patched up previously. I took this one back to the airport location in Chattanooga. They have now swapped it with a vw Jetta. We will see how this goes. I'm telling you guys, they do not maintain their vehicles, even after they've been driven thousands of miles or when tires have been worn down. They don't repair damage for the next renters either (doesn't really bother me but hey) the cars are duds and I will never use them again. I rented a Ford Fusion in May, 2015. The only problems I encountered were that the oil had not been changed so I was instructed to stop by the local Express Oil and have it changed at Enterprise's cost. I did so and while I was sitting in the car during the oil change I lowered the passenger visor to see if there was a mirror on it. The whole visor fell out. The attendant at Express managed to rig a screw to hold the mechanism in so it worked for my trip. In addition, the headliner in the car was falling down over the rear passenger seat. This wasn't really a problem, but should have been repaired. Also, the wipers on the Fusion were different and very difficult to figure out. Since it rained for the entire trip, this was really a safety hazard. There was not a driver's manual provided in the car, so I had to learn how to work the wipers by trial and error.
