I called to confirm this time, as the previous day was a pick up delay issue. They said my time was set but they have a lot of pick ups, and because they booked it for me off site. They may be a little behind. I thanked them for being honest and told them I would follow up. As I still don't have my own car due to a collision on Saturday, and got called in to work I was in a pickle. So I called them and asked how close, where they called the driver. She was going to be a bit longer, and I thanked them but told them I would have to Uber. Upon getting there my car was ready to go! They knew I was in a rush and had me ready. The guy walked me through everything, and although he was a little pushy with the insurance. I understood because I work in sales, but declined as I was covered 100%. I got in my car and headed to work! I always have such a wonderful experience with them at this location!!!

The complaint is more about lady behind the counter than the misinformation. She is a tall African American older woman. She was rude from the very first question I asked her. I maintained my cool until I asked about cancelling the reservation so I was not charged. She rudely slid a pamphlet to me and in a sarcastic tone said "IF you get a refund". So I told her she was rude and from there everything went south. When I told her how rude she was and unprofessional she got even more of an attitude and called me ghetto. I did exchange a couple names back as it set me off that someone in customer service can be so rude from the very start. Someone like this should not be the face of the company. I asked for her name and she refused. I let her know I was taking her picture and she told me she was calling the cops. All I wanted was her name and a corporate complaint number in which she refused to give either. This lady should not be employed in customer service. I overheard her sarcastically say she didn't need to deal with this crap when she is about to log out. So basically, she had her attitude because she was more concerned with leaving than doing her job and being kind and helpful. Rather, she is the employee who wants to get paid but doesn't take any pride in her work or customer service skills. Never will I use this company again and hope more people standup to her and report her.

However, I didn't like my first car because i didn't have a key fob for me to open the door or find the car. I called and returned it to get a different car with no problem! That was Awesome to me and switching cars gave me an added sense of security before driving on the highway! This is a smaller enterprise and I hope they get better selections of cars. After 20 years of renting cars, I have never seen such a terrible way to handle a rental. A mistake was made on my rental and instead of a one-way it was a local rental. After it was rebooked my bill ended up being almost 10 times my original rental. You would think the Customer Service agent would let me know of such a drastic price increase before the transaction was completed.

I explained my situation to Dylan J, and asked what he could do. He doesn't set prices for Hertz, so that's not on him. I ended up paying about $150 more for the entire trip than I would have with Enterprise, BUT.....he did manage to keep that amount down from what originally came up in the system. He worked with whatever he could and applied any discount he could find and probably saved me an additional $150 or so. They DID have cars, and they had the size I wanted. We looked at the options, and I picked what wanted most. He made sure it got cleaned inside and out and explained the option to prepay for the gas in the tank. No it wasn't full, but that's part of the deal. I could have taken it and filled it at local prices (10 cents a gallon more than Hertz's option) AND bring it back with the same amount of gas in it. Since I prepaid, I could bring it back on fumes I aid more than I planned for my rental, but considering that I walked in at 2:00 on a Friday without a reservation and drove away with what turned out to be a great car for the long trip, I can say I am happy with the experience, and am VERY happy with the job Dylan did to save my vacation.
