I rented here and my insurance was to book reservation, they never had it, waited an hr. There were others waiting in line . People were frustrated and unhappy and no one broke a sweat over it.The employees looked like they could care less. Just went to Enterprise , Citrus Heights and had a very positive experience. This is been my worst experience with this particular branch of enterprise Rent-A-Car. I reserved a car yesterday and when I went to pick it up, I had to wait and then I was taken to pick up truck for my rental. I told the service person that it was difficult to get in and out of the truck because it sat so far off the ground (due to fractures in my spine). I was told it was their last vehicle. To add insult to injury, the vehicle hadn't been cleaned before I was led to it. More time waiting. Worst customer service. read more

This Enterprise is ran by Alex and he is very prejudice , I rented a car from them and an unlicensed driver hit the car. I had the California Highway Patrol (CHP) come and do a proper report. I gave Enterprise, my insurance, and the unlicensed drivers insurance the report number. I turn the car in and the Manager Alex is asking me for a 500 dollar deductible on site. Now I'm not sure why I would pay 500 to them and I dont k ow if ny insurance is going to have to pay for this. I walk away and leave the place upset. Now fast foward months later I need another rental. Ford rents thr car for me due to my own car being fixed. I call and ask would i be able to rent a car. The guy on the phone kept saying I dont know maybe I don't know. I ask to speak to a manager because it was obvious that he wasn't going to investigate nor offer a manager who could help. 1 -2 hours later Alex calls me back and says he can not rent me a car because of information I left out on the other driver. So I ask for a number to call because he's been given order from corporate not to accommodate me. So after him going around the number I call customer service they were very nice and gave me a number to call the risk department. But the phone went straight to voicemail. I find the claims report number and actually talk to someone in the damage department with access to the "Do not rent" list. Mark Cook helped me out and said that not only was the claim paid it was paid by the unlicensed drivers insurance March 31st., I call back with Mark's employee number and all and Alex changes moods so fast it was unreal, he told me that he was not going to rent me a car because "I remember you didn't have the other drivers information and you didn't have the money to pay for the car deductible, why would I take a risk and rent a car to you and it happens again and you not have the money to pay for it?" In a nasty tone. My response to all this is why would I pay 500 dollars to Enterprise the day of the accident and not know if I would have to pay my insurance as well for a deductible. I didn't feel comfortable with that. And I had a report done by the CHP to support my story and pictures of what happened that day. I thought this was the most responsible thing I could do at this point. I called customer service to make a complaint and Ryan from Rancho Cordova calls me back and ask me what happened and my complaint. So I tell him how earlier Alex said it was a corporate thing and I was missing the other drivers information and I call and do my research , when I reported back to Alex what Mark told me , Alex told me how he didn't trust me etc .. Ryan's response was "It sounds like there is a miscommunication here. Because I know Alex a little at Folsom and he is told to collect the deductible to rent you a car." That is fine that hes trained to do that but that's not what Alex said on the phone the first nor second time I called. He told me because he didn't trust me for the following items I did not have. Ryan calls me back and Alex still will not rent the car to me but I am able to rent from a totally different location. So they support the prejudice of Alex not renting to who he feels like he doesn't want to rent to. For Alex to insult me and tell me I didn't have money to pay for a car when I have full coverage insurance that covers rental cars and up to 300,000 dollars in damages is crazy to me. He remembered me from the accident then surely he remembers me giving him the report number to the CHP report. But you don't trust the young Black women to rent a car to because you don't trust me ? But yet everything you said I didn't have and didn't do I not only delivered and the car was fixed! read more

It's Saturday morning and they supposedly open at 9am. I have called three times since 9:30 and there is no answer or voicemail option. Just keeps ringing. I confirmed the yelp phone number is correct at the Enterprise corporate website. The online reservation system does not work for same-day requests. Renting from Enterprise is like playing russian roulette; your either going to survive or never rent from this organization again. Each and every Enterprise rental center is run slightly differently from each other, largely dependent upon the size of the center and the experience of the agents. I have had some good experiences with Enterprise, but let me recount my last experience and you be the judge. Full disclosure, I have rented probably twenty cars from Enterprise, so I am in their system. I have returned all cars in good condition. My wife and I are both over fifty, and we carry major credit cards. That said, the last time we rented a car, we went to the Iron Point office rather than the Folsom Ford sub office: what a mistake. I decided to use a debit card, rather than a major credit card simply because I had just paid off my entire card balances and wanted to keep them at zero. You would have thought I had the Ebola virus. First, the attitude of the agent changed immediately. She informed me that she was going to have to call my insurance company to "verify" my insurance information. I found this funny because Enterprise has all my insurance information in their files. We proceeded. Twenty five minutes later, after an extensive call with USAA, she stated to my wife and I, " I guess your ok", but I'm going to put a hold on your card. "Fine". We just wanted a car. Then, the final non-sensical straw that broke the camels back, "and I'm going to need three personal references from for you." WTF? Isn't this the same company that rented to me twenty times in the past. Can you imagine giving out personal references after your insurance company has verified your covered and after they have card? What in the world would be the point? At this point, I asked to see the manager. We waited another twenty minutes. Then another ten. Apparently the manager was really busy that day. Well, we called Uber and went to Budget. LONG LIVE BUDGET. We travel extensively. NEVER will I rent from Enterprise again. NEVER. LONG LIVE BUDGET. So, unless you want to be treated like your a felon from Folsom, avoid Enterprise at all costs. LONG LIVE BUDGET. read more

I've never had a bad experience here, despite the yelp rating. They are customer focused and have cars available with or without a reservation, but it's always recommended to call in for a reservation or do it online. When they brought a car over for me, they told me that they had to switch vehicles: the previous driver smoked in the car even though it's prohibited, and the car reeked of smoke. The Enterprise Team was looking out for me and my health, and had another similar car for me to rent within 5 minutes. I'm so glad I wasn't stuck in a smokey car! Thanks Enterprise! read more

I don't rent cars often, so have very little to compare my experience to. However, the customer service was great. I came in yesterday to rent a car because I was having recall work done on mine. I met with Eliza and she had me in a car quickly. I enjoyed chatting with her and would rate the overall customer service experience as top notch. read more

My company work truck broke down in Folsom so I did what you always have to do and got on the phone to the leasing company. I drop my work truck off at the Chevy dealership and an enterprise agent met me there with my rental truck. He drove me back to Enterprises office where we wrapped up the paperwork in under five minutes.I was back to work in no time and I'm really grateful for how smooth everything went. Instead of my day being ruined.......I was back to work in under 30 minutes from when my truck broke down to when I left enterprise in a nice new clean rental truck. read more

I was qouted a standard car for 239.00 for 10 days, at a discount since I am an employee of the Folsom Auto Mall, I get there, the car that was promised was gone. Now the rate was 489.00 for 10 days. more than double for a car I did not want. This was for the week of Christmas. I wanted a larger vehicle since I drive a small convertable. I left with no vehicle, went home rented a vehicle from Hertz. I have been a faithful customer of Enterprise, never again. Unhappy X read more

I love reading the responses from enterprise management touting customer service and satisfaction as a primary goal. I don't understand that when a person like Eliza works there. That smug thinks she's all that look she loves to give after going out to involve the other businesses that share the same location in her madness just takes the cake. She had the audacity to list me as a high risk and put a do not rent notation under my name. She involved the parts and service director of Folsom Lake Ford Who proceeded to take it upon himself to cuss me out and chased me out of that dealership and rental car office. If you skip on over to the for dealership's website you'll see even under his profile the customer service is also something that he values highly. Words are cheap. Actions are more valuable. And after looking at them both in action, at least I know I will never patronize this business again. After escalating the issue common it became clear that the enterprise customer service division as well as their escalation department has no interest in valuing the customer. read more

There's regular old customer service you'd find at a dept store checkstand. Then there's better customer service like you'd find at a nice restaraunt. Then there's Eli and Mel. Those 2 went out of their way to make my rental experience a pleasant one. Thanks guys! read more

Folsom blvd. Enterprise claimed my work colleague "stole" one of their cars and charged his account several hundred bucks. He called the cops they told him to drop the car off. After he did they called him claiming the car was damaged and took $4,000 out of his business account. He may lose his business his livelihood and his house because of these greedy people. The cops said it will take atleast 6 months to sort this out. Dont go to these people at all! Your literally better off selling your soul to the devil himself. read more
