My Jeep was being held at the dealer for a manufacturer-related battery repair, and the rental authorization I was given did not realistically cover a comparable vehicle. I needed reliable transportation, and because my own vehicle is a 4x4 used for work, this was not as simple as just taking any small rental car and moving on. Krista immediately understood the situation. She listened, took the time to understand what I actually needed, and went far beyond what I expected or what most people would consider "standard customer service." She did not treat me like a number or hide behind policy. She worked the problem, communicated clearly, involved the branch manager, and helped find a real solution. Because of Krista and the branch manager, I was able to leave in a Jeep Gladiator at the authorized rate instead of being forced into a vehicle that did not meet my needs or paying out of pocket for an upgrade during an already frustrating manufacturer repair issue. That kind of service is rare. Krista was professional, patient, resourceful, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. She turned what could have been a terrible experience into one where I felt taken care of and respected. The branch manager also deserves credit for supporting the solution and helping make it happen. Enterprise should recognize Krista for this. She represented the company exceptionally well and delivered the kind of customer service that creates long-term loyalty. I am extremely grateful for the way she handled my situation and would recommend this branch without hesitation.

Food was bought extra things were bought for this trip so when they called me the day before I was supposed to pick up the van and told me they didn't have a van for me wait what that's what the reservation is for they said they were gonna look and see if they can find me one OK fine they did this to me last year and they found one. Well, they didn't find me a van. They said they were gonna find a replacement which they didn't. They just left me a voicemail. No apologies. No, let's try to give you something else. Needing a car rental due to a recent car accident in which I was rear-ended and being that Enterprise was literally right next door to the business doing the body work, I was thrilled. I stopped in on the same day I took my car into the body shop for appraisal. Super professional and friendly employees kindly answered all my, many questions thoroughly and patiently. It was very reassuring to me to know I could count on Enterprise during this difficult time without my car. On the day I dropped off my car for repair, I had made an appointment at Enterprise, too. So I knew what to expect. Even before my appointment, I received a phone call from Katie confirming and reviewing the appointment details. Wow! I was impressed. She acknowledged the insurance company, which was paying for the rental (that being the insurance of the person who hit me), as well as what that insurance would and would not cover. That was important information. If I did not want to pay the Enterprise rental car collusion insurance, I needed to bring my own personal auto insurance policy number on the day I was getting the rental car. Finally, I would have to leave a $50 deposit, which would be refunded when I turned in the car. The pick-up of my rental was seamless. Since my last business dealings with Enterprise many moons ago, their vehicle checkout procedures have really been streamlined. I worked with Jake on securing my rental and could not have been more pleased with his knowledge of Enterprise procedures. He completed the paperwork sitting in the rental car on his iPad. He then answered every question I had about the vehicle's operating system. I left Enterprise that day feeling confident driving the rental. During the week of driving, I was receiving texts from Enterprise providing phone numbers and who to contact should I need any help or assistance. That was a totally an unexpected perk I really appreciated. A day after I returned the car, a texted survey asking about my experience was received. The kind folks at Autotronics gave me a ride to Dave's. Even though Dave's front desk rental person was not there, Dave worked hard to remember his system so that I could rent a car and get underway. Dave and Kyle were so sweet and worked to get me the right car. He had received a fleet of brand new Highlanders that afternoon and hadn't even set them all up for rental. I really needed a hitch for my bike rack and he and Kyle got it ready to rent for me. Not to mention, Dave has a huge, funny, and warm personality. I couldn't be more grateful. The car was gorgeous and he rented it to me at a very good price. The car was so luxurious. I wouldn't let the kids eat in that gorgeous car. Rent from Dave's - you won't be disappointed!

We rent cars frequently for trips so I've used a lot of car rental companies in the greater Sacramento area over the years. Here they are super friendly and always make doing business a pleasure. I also use my Costco membership which gives me a major discount on rental cars. One of the reviews on here says something about their beds...So somebody gave a bad review to the wrong business. Seriously? If someone is going to take the time to knock a business, at least make sure you have the right one.

We rented the car from the Avis Santa Clara location and returned to Folsom. We received a letter in the mail 3 weeks later informing us of a $450 charge for smoke. We never smoked in the car and returned the car in decent condition. We were vacationing with family and have 2 young kids and no one is a smoker in the family. We disputed the charge and were informed there was "nothing they could do." Upon further research, we read that Avis charges bogus "cleaning" charges if cars are not returned "spotless". The car was not overly clean to begin with and the biggest thing we failed to do was document everything, although can't documenting supposed smoke smell. My recommendation AVOID Avis all together. We will never return. We are frequent travelers and have never encountered these issues. Ridiculous!!! Worse rental car experience ever and would give 0 stars if I could.
