I check my credit card statement only to find out that there was an additional $49.50 for cleaning the vehicle?!?! Was told vehicle was "trashed"! Good thing I had photos. They held zero weight. It gets tiring going back and forth over this and they seem to know it. I'll just avoid this place. I would advise you to do the same.

(2019 Toyota Corolla, your review would have that as the only pro. Yikes.) Upon returning the car, they inspected it. They said there would be a minimum $35 cleaning fee because of how dirty it was. Now, we said upfront we'd be taking it to West Texas... to the DESERT. We were never told about any potential cleaning fee. We're not dirty or messy people by any means, but naturally there was some dirt that accumulated in the car. Having had a relative that worked for Enterprise for years, we thought nothing of it since people left full damn garbage bags in their cars for him to clean out and it was a normal occurrence... because the cars are cleaned in detail after each use. We took the car to a nearby vac station to avoid paying the fee, and they took the car back. If you're THAT strict about how a car looks upon return, you absolutely should warn your customers ahead of time. If we knew we had to vacuum, it wouldn't have been an issue to do so at all. But now I'm worried, Budget. You got my mind going. Charging a fee for some sand on the floor? Expecting customers to vacuum? So... do you NOT vacuum or clean if the car looks fine? Do you not realize how many insanely dirty yet invisible things lie on surfaces? People get sick. They vomit, defecate. People have airborne, contagious diseases. People FORNICATE. Oh yeah. Real easy to wipe all that nasty crap up, but it needs to be sanitized! Performing a full cleaning is not the customer's job. I will be very wary about using this company again because of these questions bouncing around in my head. Get it together Budget.

I called and spoke with, I think, Callie(?). Explained my needs, and I asked if a screen shot of my insurance card was ok or if she needed a hard copy. She said she has to have verbal confirmation from the company. Well I can RARELY ever get ahold of my agent, but had actually just spoken to her, so I said she could reach him now, or would have to call the 800 number. After 45 minutes I had not heard back, so I called again and was told her had JUST called him and got no answer. Thanks for waiting. To add insult to injury, she was told the 800 number could only send by email and could take 10 days! WHAT??!? But I said no problem. I just looked it up on their app and it has my full policy details right there. She said "Yeah, but anybody can take a screenprint!" I said It's NOT a screenprint!! It's an APP! An interactive app! I can't fake that! She was sorry, (yep) but had to speak to someone to confirm. Unbelievable. LUCKILY, I was able to reach my agent by text and he spoke with her and got what she needed. All absolutely unnecessary though, had somebody been able to engage her thinking capabilit​​​y. This company needs that as a policy. Oh, and I didn't even get a receipt!!

I have neglected to write a review for this location for several years (and several transactions)…read more Better late than never. First, the folks here have always made me feel important -- since the first time I rented a car from this location in 2016. Unlike other rental companies and locations, the people at this location solve any issues before you walk in the door. Most recently, I rented a mid-sized sedan (Camry) to take a long drive to far west Texas. I wanted something comfortable and easy on gas. I showed up on the day that I'd reserved the car, and they told me that the car I wanted was not (yet) in. It was beyond their control, and I totally get that. Instead -- for the same price -- they offered a luxury upgrade that actually was more comfortable and better on gas mileage. When I returned the car, the lone employee was on the phone with an elderly woman who was confused. She believed that her insurance company said that Enterprise would pick up her totaled car and bring her a rental. What I overheard from the dude at Enterprise was nothing short of exceptional customer service. Obviously, they can't go pick up a totaled car, unless it is their own totaled car -- at which point they would send a wrecker. Still, he politely talked her off the ledge and offered to help her in any other way possible. When it was all said and done, she thanked him and let him know that she would call her insurance company for clarity. This guy could've told her to take a hike, but he had emotional intelligence that is missing these days. This woman was short, if not curt, but he stayed the polite course. Customer service like this is why I will continue to rent from Enterprise and use this location as my home base.

The employees at the League City location (Main St) are always so nice. I've had an unlucky couple…read moreof years with fender benders, so I've rented from them 3 times and every time they are super nice, efficient and make it so easy. Manuel and Victoria specifically are GREAT!!!

I went on a business trip for work and my company set me up in a rental for traveling. I didn't…read moreknow what to expect as I've never been in a position to use any rental car service for business. Via the website, I specifically chose a Toyota to drive since I'm a Toyota girl and am more comfortable with one. Upon walking into the establishment, I sat down as a lady was being serviced and waited. Immediately, staff member, Anmaria greeted me with a smile and quickly got my background information such as my driver's license. She assured me that there was going to be a wait since the technology wasn't working properly that day and that they had a line of individuals needing to give cars too. There were about four people ahead of me, so I just sat down and waited. During the wait time, I witnessed two Karens screaming and getting disgruntled with Anmaria since they had been waiting for a while. It was a disturbing show to watch, but Anmaria remained calm and treated them professionally ensuring that their vehicles would be ready as soon as possible. Thankfully, Anmaria kept her word and had them on their way with a vehicle which they complained about again. Then, another staff member, Jackie serviced the man who waited for more than an hour. She greeted him with a smile and immediately placed him an a vehicle. Finally, it was my turn. Ms. Jackie walked me outside to what appeared to be not-a-Toyota, but instead a luxury Volvo. She gave me a walkthrough of the vehicle, we looked a previous scratches and made note of them. I was straightforward with her by explaining that I am not used to computerized vehicles and have a manual car at home. I asked if she could show me how to operate some of the controls. Ms. Jackie was patient with me and showed me how to open the gas area, how to connect my phone to Bluetooth, and how to control the seating, and she thoroughly explained that the "P" button was for parking. During the trip, I had no major issues with the vehicle and the vehicle rode very smoothly. It gave me 36 mpg so I only had to stop once heading to DFW for gas and once heading back to the Houston area. Upon returning the vehicle, I returned it after hours and met with Ms. Lisa who was assisting a male Karen who was very rude to me as I was briefly chatting with Ms. Lisa. Ms. Lisa was very nice and did not give me any form of attitude. She was understanding of the mistake and assured me that it would be okay. She offered to dispose of my trash, but I told her that it was fine I could handle it. They even have a chat line that you can text them on if you have any troubles with the vehicle. I had trouble opening the gas cap area upon returning the vehicle, but eventually figured it out. I visited the store to get a copy of the receipt and met with the smile of Lisa who quickly produced a receipt for me. I even spoke with another staff member, Laura who assisted Lisa. Both gave exceptional customer service. Overall, I had a very positive experience with the staff members here. I will warn y'all that there are a lot of entitled Karens who come here.

The agents were friendly, helpful and in no way pushy or insistent about added extras, which is common with rental companies. I highly recommend this location.
