Ian Houston (Assistant Manager) answered the phone and was very helpful and efficient, he even sent down another employee to pick me up at the Marina. I am sorry to say I misplaced the employees name but he was friendly, welcoming and prompt. The rental process itself was easy and they took time to quickly ensure my information was accurate and my corporate discount was applied. Finding the car was quick and easy. It was in great shape and their assessment of its nicks/dents was accurate. In addition, I was able to drop the vehicle off at the Marina when I was done which was an absolute bonus and much appreciated (you could arrange to have it dropped off there for you to pick up as well). When I shared my good experience with a few locals they were not at all surprised and had nothing but good things to say about Ian and the staff at National. A great 'small town' rental experience, highly recommended.

It is a franchise not fully supported by National/Enterprise…read more If you have concerns about billing and/or service, you MUST work directly with the franchise with little support from National/Enterprise and communication from the franchise was poor. We we charged for under bumper scratches and asked to replace the full bumper. According to the manager, this is part of their practice and have charged other clients for similar damage in the past. Also, the parking barriers at the Comox airport are high and that, according to the manager "It is your choice to park on the barrier." So, related damages under the car are not their issue. Very disappointing service considering how often we have used this company.
