The Comox Valley airport is a very small airport with limited amenities. Pre security has a gift shop and a take out cafe. Budget car rental is available. Post security has only vending machines and restrooms. Overall nice clean airport and staff are friendly. read more

This is a really nice airport. Very modern and spacious. Arrivals and departures are obviously located near each other since there are only two gates. Security was a breeze. I'd recommend flying to anyone arriving in Comox Valley or on the island really. As a bonus, there's free WiFI! read more

This is a world class airport. My 82 years young mother who only speak French told me that she was treat royalty by Pacific Coastal Airlines and securities services who were bilinguals. The co-pilot was also bilingual he got her first on the aircraft make her selected her seat, then once arrived at the south Vancouver terminal he contacted some other personnel to make sure that she got her luggage and put her on the transit bus to get to the main Vancouver Airport to get her connection flight. This is a very nice airport. I love the bookstore at Mid Island Gifts they have the best local books with the best recommendations. The drop off parking is only for 20 minutes at 25 cents for 10 minutes. The ladies bathroom has four stalls. So it's a great way to drop your company off, shop for a local British Columbia author and have a bathroom break for the journey home. read more

This airport is a god damn joke. I lost my mask on the way to the airport and I expected as like any other airport they would have ones to supply for u since they are "mandatory on the premises" but no I walk up and ask for a mask and they say no u have to go buy one at the gift shop or vending machine and the vending machine dident seem to be anywhere maybe I dident look hard enough but the point is that u have to have masks ready to supply in any medical buildings, legal buildings, airports, and hospitals. You have to walk through the airport to get to the gift shop so the "masks mandatory on premisis" is being ignored anyway by the staff. I then get to the gift shop and they have no medical ones to buy only 9-17$ fabric masks. Then the most outrageous part was, I was not asked for my vaccine passport once, I never put it online when I booked , so I brought it with me and not once did anyone look at it. So in conclusion Comox airport is not following any of the precautions that they need to be , that all the other airports are. To sum up, no masks available unless purchased for 9-17$, staff dosent say anything to u about not wearing a mask, and they do not check vaccine passports. read more

We were so pleased that we could fly in direct from Edmonton via Westjet, for a small airport we thought we would need to connect in Vancouver. Waited for our luggage including a car seat and stroller and we noticed that the stroller was missing the cup holder attachment that goes across (and is 100% necessary for the infant seat to click into the stroller.) We let someone know and she RAN outside to talk to the baggage handler, he RAN to find it and bring it to us. What service here, I can't believe the effort that was put into resolving our issue. The staff here is great and we appreciate it so much. read more

Completely unprofessional and unaccommodating not helpful especially when there's only one gate that passengers need to go through for security and also get on the plane the customer service agents were not helpful in with bags with information not friendly and then went through security and was at the gate going to the airplane the csa's were ill equipped to deal with anything sophisticated absolutely need more training need more support on going they were Curt grumpy I am really disappointed with how WestJet customer service has declined and it is very apparent especially in Comox read more
