    One star rating on this particular day. Oh yah, I remember this day…read more Here we go... My car went Ka-flooey on the freeway and I needed to rent a car pronto. My auto dealership no longer provides rental cars due to some taking advantage of that service by trashing and total'ing the cars. Gee, thanks Hyundai customers. So here we are getting back to the car rental place they referred. Ok, getting a car and picking it up was a breeze. It helps to have all your info in order and an established relationship with this shop. Or so I thought. Ok, so since my car issues were covered by warranty so was my car rental fees. Love Hyundai's warranty. So that means I had to return the rental car since the dealership got my car fixed right away. So I'm on the freeway about 15minutes away from their shop and I know I'm cutting it close so I decide to call them to give them a heads up. The guy who answered was like, "Well we close at 5." Me: "I know this, that's why I'm calling. I drove over an hour to get here and I'm getting off the exit right now and I'm basically right around the corner." You know what he asks me? This guy says, "Ok well can you pull over and read me the card info?" Me all dumbfounded and shocked. "Well if you want me to pull over and do all that, you might as well wait me for so it would be easier to just swipe my card." Duh, right? He acquiesced. So since the auto dealership is going to pay for everything, I'm going to get a credit. I have to cover the taxes and some fees, but the dealership will cover the daily rental fee. This guy, not the manager, seemed all pushed out of shape. On a Tuesday? Really? I got my credit, but I was not happy on the inital suggesstion that I pull over off the freeway to give him my card info over the phone. Not concerned at all for my safety, all about money, money, and let's speed this up so I can end my shift type of vibe. I think this guy's customer service skills needs a refreshing and ya'll need to do better for a paying customer with excellent pay history. I'm just saying. See you some more on Yelp 2026, but at this place...I don't know, I just don't know. Time to share....Go.

    My car broke down and was towed to Bakersfield and I made a Hertz reservation but when I arrived…read more(I'm from Las Vegas) , Hertz was closed for a 3 hr lunch (!?). So I walked next door and BOOM got a car and was on the road within 20 min. Thank you for being there for me and covering for Hertz's error!

Because I can always rely on a car when I need one. I highly recommend Oakhurst enterprise, very friendly staff very quick at getting you in and out to your car. We were hoping to get the car dropped off to us since national (another partner branch) has offered that service (maybe it's different here) There's only one person running the show. We came here to exchange our car since ours had a nail in our tire and we had to change it for a donut. It took an hour to finally get something. The gentleman there was very nice, but we paid for a suv and he gave us no choice but to take the Camry which was only a quarter tank full. We already filled the suv and it was very inconvenient to have to fill this one up too, I assumed at pick up it would be full and we could be on our way to the Yosemite National park. This is our last day so it was pretty annoying having to deal with all this... I think they know their customers are desperate so they can get away with these things... unfortunate.

    05/15 I'll try to make this as brief as possible. I rented a car to drive back home (2 1/2hr…read moredrive). Now when I called to make the reservation I specifically told them one way, I was already on my way there. 2 minutes after I get off the phone I walk in, they verify who I am and tell me they will be right with me. They helped 2 more people in front of me and then assisted me. Now we went over the one way trip again, I said I didn't want the insurance but that I would prepay for gas cuz I was tired and didn't want to be bothered. The car had plenty of scratches and scuff marks but she assured me (as I pointed them out) that they were all listed and no reason to worry. We review the contract but I don't see the the very beginning of the contract (cuz they use those pads now) so far all looks good. I stay the night at the hotel and get on the road the next day, now nothing has happened to the car. I get home, go to drop the car off at the Enterprise near my house and the guy looks at the bak of the car and then goes straight to the roof of the car and says there is a dent. I look and go ok but there's no dust that has been moved since I didn't wash the car and there's no finger prints to show that I've done anything to the car. They want me to drive the car all the way back to San Jose for them to look at the car or they were going to claim the damage on my insurance. I left and drove to the Fresno Airport office (much more reasonable) I told them of the discussion I had with the Fresno Tower Enterprise and the San Jose Pearl office Enterprise. I asked that they not bring up the account but to look at the car in the general idea where I was told there was damage and tell me if they saw anything (fresh eyes and all). The agent told me she didn't see anything. I asked that she put the car into a different light to make sure cuz I didn't want to get a letter weeks later stating that there was damage done to the car. The Fresno Airport agent told me she didn't see anything in the account about the damage, and that she was closing out the account and for me not to worry. Not sure what was going on other than Pearl Office wanted the car back and the tower office, well I don't know what their problem was. These people definitely need to be watched. Take pictures or a video of your rental before leaving. Enterprise has always been my go to and has gotten me out of a few jams but the stress that they put me through about this rental return was totally uncalled for and deliberate on their part. What their intention was I have no idea but my intention is to inform people of the shadiness I experience from both the Pearl office in San Jose and the Fresno Tower district office.
