Was a very good experience the first time we got a rental car here due to an insurance claim. They upgraded us to a Nissan Rogue even though USAA only paid for a car rental. I went back to this location about a month later on the same insurance claim. This time, no one said anything about USAA only paying for a car rental. The employee just brought a Rogue around without even asking if I wanted a car. I figured it was the same deal as last time. $115 charge later for the upgrade, I learned it was not the same deal. I explained last time I got a free upgrade and was just told "that was a different contract." While the person I talked to, whom I am assuming was the manager, was not rude, I wouldn't call her customer-friendly and she didn't offer to explain the variance in rentals. If you aren't going to offer the same free upgrade as last time, at least make sure employees gives the customer the option of getting what their insurance company will pay for. So between the 5 from the first experience and the 1 from this experience, I figured a 3 was a good rating for this Enterprise. Edited: I just talked to the new manager, Jacob. He could not have been nicer, so I revised my rating, yet again. His customer service is def 5-star worthy! read more

I told Enterprise representative that I wanted 2 additional drivers to add on the car when we picked it up. I have one driver with me and a photo of the other driver's license. The representative said that he doesn't need the additional driver info. Trusting the representative, I signed the contract. Later I found that "no additional driver" unless listed below, which no one was listed below. I have to delay my trip and go back to the local office in order to correct the contract!!!! read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - I found that no additional driver was listed even after I told them I wanted 2 drivers. - Car Rental Near Me - Bartlett, Tennessee

Rented a car here twice while my car was getting some repairs done. The staff is super friendly and helpful. A perfect experience. Sean helped me out getting a ride back to the shop my car was in too. Thanks! read more

Rude. (Just the Manager.) Unprofessional. (Manager.) Vindictive. (Manager personally switched the real License Plate to an expired license, or at least that's what I think he did when he grabbed a screwdriver from his desk, left for 5min and came back and said "Give her the Altima, no, not the Spark. Give her the Altima.") You can read between the lines for yourself, I had complained that I didn't want the Chevy Spark because it was too small, but the salesgirl said she could put me on the trade out list to exchange it in a day or two, so I was ok with that option. But then he left his desk and came back and said to give me the Altima, a 2020, electric blue, pretty car. We stepped outside and I noticed the electric car I had asked for was back and just waiting to be rented back out. I just didn't say anything. They were putting an elderly, mobility-challenged woman into the Chevy Spark, I saw. So we did the walk-around the Altima and noted the dings, the small chips in the windshield, no worries, she gave me the key and I signed off on it, and she started walking away as I got into the nice Nissan Altima That STANK. TO HIGH HEAVEN. OF DEATH AND CIGARETTES. I was like "Whoa, whoa, woah, hold up... did you put this funky smell on your notes? Because this is Horrible! It smells like cigarettes and I don't smoke anymore, but I know that smell! She said she'd add the note and I asked if they could deodorize it and change the cabin air filter. She sheepishly said they could only do an odor treatment, but it would take another twenty minutes maybe longer. I'd been there an hour and was ready to go and I knew how to close the vents, run the ac full blast and spray Lysol, so I was like Eff it. I'll do it myself instead of having to look at the hateful Manager even one more time. Eff that guy. I told her to keep me on the trade out list. After cleaning the smoke film from the windows and doing the Lysol treatment and febreeze for the trunk and seats and asking five different people if it stank still, I was ok with it and just drove it. Never heard back again from them about a trade out. (Thanks!!) Got pulled over in Germantown for expired tags. (Of COURSE!! Thanks, Enterprise!!) And the officer came back with my paperwork and license and told me I had been done dirty, because the CORRECT Tag was listed on the paperwork, and saved me from a ticket, but not the inconvenience of being pulled over and having my time wasted. (LOVE IT, My FAVORITE!) SO. That's why they get one star. Choose wisely, folks! My State Farm Insurance made me go to Enterprise, and I switched locations to the one next door to Desoto Collision Center on Stage in Bartlett, but regretted it immediately. So hopefully, you will get better service. Take care and watch out for Assholes and deer in Bartlett. read more

Renting a car can be stressful. It is time consuming and always takes longer than one expects. This branch of Enterprise, however, made that process far less stressful. Though they were busy, they still made the process move quickly and efficiently. Meleke, particularly, was very kind and calming throughout the process. The whole crew did great. I have used this location more than once and will continue to do so. read more

Short Version: 1-Star Rating?... A total of 3 hours and 35 minutes of my life was wasted at this one location trying to get a rental car! Only needs... Powered Driver's Seat, Car or small SUV, and DOES NOT Smell like SMOKE!. P.S. Total Time spent with Enterprise trying to get a reliable and smoke free rental car between 3 locations and 2 days of Roadside Assistance phone calls... 6 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES of LIFE WASTED! Long Version: Dropped off (On A WORKDAY) at 11:30am on Tuesday June 4th and was told I might have an hour wait to receive a car. Sure no problem, I can get some work emails and phone calls going then. One hour later... I saw people come in and out dropping cars off, picking up reservations, and even walking in and making a new reservation and all getting cars on the spot without waiting any real length of time. When I asked the manager Jo (not real full name for privacy) why people are able to get similar cars that I've been waiting for (for 2 hours)? He stated that they had reservations, were corporate clients, and/or were paying for their rentals! I then asked, SO are you telling me that you all are trained to put insurance customers at the BACK of the line until something no one else really wants come along? He stumbled over his words to try his best to wiggle out of that FACT and was not able to put together a comprehensive sentence & stated that we're still waiting on something for you and we have this HUGE F150 if you want it. Approaching being LATE for a meeting & after them trying to put me in a Toyota Corolla that smelt like a CIGAR SMOKE SHOP! I said just give me the keys to the Gas Guzzler F150 so I can try to not be late to my meeting! Went out to the truck and its interior looked LITERALLY like it LEFT a CONSTRUCTION SITE because it was FULL of MUD, SAND, and DIRT EVERYWHERE...FLITHY! After 10 minutes of me wiping this truck down Jo came out and said they got another small car and that I could get in it. I said okay sure. This car had MANUAL SEAT and Cigarette burn marks on seats! I said F it (considering it was not pass 2:30pm) and told him I'll call them after my meeting before they close and see if they have anything else and try the other shop towards my meeting. I called them at 5:45pm they stated they have something coming in a 6pm and to try the other store off Germantown Parkway considering I would pass by them. This store said, go back to other store because it's an insurance rental and they can't trade for anything because they would be losing from a potential CASH (CARD) customer. At Jo's store I was there from 5:55pm-6:24pm (store closes at 6pm) and finally received a car that I THOUGHT was correct. This car kept alarming me that it had an issue, pulled over & the car showed 0% OIL LIFE turned the AC off & I got dizzy from the smoke smell! This store was not able to help me remedy this situation and I had to spend an additional 3 HOURS and 3 DAYS between being on the phone with roadside assistance, other locations (like the airport which HUNG UP on myself and the roadside assistance representative) and 1 Enterprise store IN ANOTHER STATE before the situation was finally fixed. I take my hat off to the store in West Memphis Arkansas for taking the car & removing as much of the smoke smell as possible & for fixing the car computer & oil issues. Problem was fixed finally on FRIDAY, JUNE 7th, 2019! Never Never Never will I (or possible whomever is reading this) GO TO ANY ENTERPRISE IF YOU ARE COMING THERE THROUGH ANY INSURANCE COMPANY! Let my 2 TERRIBLE experiences be your guide and I hope you do not have to experience what I have gone through TWICE now with Enterprise! read more

I visited the Hwy 64 location, I needed an emergency rental car at the last minute, because I accidentally put diesel in my brand new car !(I know I know smh). So I just showed up and these guys and gal were so helpful! The place was swamped and they were short handed but worked diligently to get every customer accommodated! Not everyone was happy but they were polite and professional! I showed up out of the blue and they said they didn't have a car for me and I had 5 reservations ahead of me but if I was willing to wait they would do everything they could to help me! Within an hour they had a car for me and I was able to begin my vacation!!! read more

Edit: Tried contacting the customer support below and no response in a week yet. Not that I really expected anything; all I got was a couple emails letting me know they had received it and forwarded it to someone who would look into it. Tried charging back, and Enterprise contested. The form they sent my credit card company shows that I supposedly had the car for 2 weeks. What a joke; I returned it a grand total of 5 days after checking it out. Since my signature was on file, they could alter their documentation however they want to make it seem like I had the car for 2 weeks to squeeze all the money they could out. Talk about some shady business practice. This is about as unprofessional and unethical as they come. read more

I had to have some work done on my car, so I rented a car from Enterprise. Very professional service, as well as friendly. The only thing wrong is the price. They are at least twice the price as some of the rental places at the airport. I could have rented a car for a week for what they charged me for two days. Plan ahead and get your car from one of the airport rental companies. read more

Bad Experience At Another Location, So I Was Skeptical When I Had To Deal With Enterprise Again. When I Got To This Location It Was Pretty Busy And I Got Worried. But The Ladies There Were Very Professional And Friendly. I Have Had To Be Back A Few More Times And They Are Always Busy But Always Friendly And Smiling. Thanks To Molly And The Other Workers There I Will Recommend This Location To Everybody For The Best Service. read more

About 4 weeks ago i went to Memphis, TN. when i arrived i got my rental car from enterprise as soon i was picked up from the airport. that Saturday i had a 6;00 flight from Memphis to Houston. On the papers that i was given from Enterprise they told me to deliver the rental car to this place called Park-IT-Here and an assistant would tell me further instructions. so at 4;30 in the morning i drove to Park-IT-Here to drop my rental car and when i got there the woman on the speaker told me to drive my car into the lot on the left. After i parked my car i walked onto the shuttle bus and the driver asked me where did you park your car and i told him it was a black Mazda. The bus driver gave me two cards. I asked the shuttle driver WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO WITH THE RENTAL CAR KEYS? He told me to "JUST HOLD ON TO THEM." So when i arrived to the airport after receiving my boarding pass i asked the lady behind the counter what do i do with my rental car keys? She said you were suppose to leave those keys at the lot where you parked it. No one told me what was i suppose to do with those keys. Enterprise does not open until 6;00 am. I walked outside the airport and spoke to an enterprise shuttle bus driver and told him about the situation and he did not know what i was suppose to do with the rental car keys either. He told me don't miss your flight so just take with you. So i did. I took the keys with me to Houston. By the time i arrived to Houston it was 9;00 am. i called enterprise in Memphis TN and after minutes of waiting i finally go to talk to someone who worked there. She told me that i was suppose to leave the keys in the vehicle. So she put me on with here manager and he told me when i get home to just mail the keys back to us. When I finally got home i stopped at a FedEx shipping store and mailed the keys, my pink contract, and the two cards that the Park-IT-Here shuttle bus driver gave me. I paid to have those keys shipped the next day which was about $27.00. Well that following Tuesday i called Enterprise in Memphis to see if they received the package and they said they received the envelope with my pink contract and two cards but there were no keys in it. so FedEx investigated the problem and the guy that delivered the package said that when he delivered the package that there were keys inside that envelope. My point is i ended up paying 325.00 to get a new key installed for the rental car i had. they were orriginaly going to charge me for the extra four days that they did not have the keys which would of been a total of $720.00. Well after my dad got on the phone and cussed them out they dropped all of their bogus charges and only charged me for the keys. read more

Totally impressed with the counter service and professionalism of the staff. They were dealing with a less than optimal inventory situation resulting in vehicles not being ready at the reserved times. Ravelle....stellar, what more can I say. The way she handles disgruntled customers and diffuses situations that could easily escalate speaks to an excellent sense of customer service and crisis management. She juggled the counter, phones and staff like a pro never compromising her integrity. By far the best example of customer service I've witnessed in the Memphis area the 13 years I've been here. Mercedes Benz of Memphis should take note. read more

The sales guy flat out lied to us! My truck had to have some work done and this guy who was reminiscent of a sleazy car salesman managed to talk my husband into purchasing their stupid insurance. He told us o just call and cancel it. Lie can't cancel it over the phone you have to go in to do that so I got stuck paying for 2 additional days. #2 we will just charge you when you drop it off. Day after canceling the insurance I get a call that I owe them $106 and I need to pay it now over the phone! Are you kidding me you call me like a bill collector and I'm still in their dang vehicle! I'm hot and I am at this moment thinking about taking the vehicle back and just bumming a ride!!! read more

Great service! Rented an SUV for the week for a family vacation. It was clean, the price was the best available in the area. Very pleased.

The Bartlett location where Josh use to managed and I've rented from enterprise now 4 plus years however every since this new manager have been in place things have not been as friendly nor good customer service. She ran my card for an amount that I didn't authorize and I've brought money orders weekly to extend my rentals. She then tells me we don't take cash. I say I didn't bring cash I brought 2 money orders. Then she say the guys that took my money orders didn't notate my acct. And its not her fault that they didn't & I ask her so its my fault that they didn't notate my acct.? So she say I'm about to call accounting& will call you right back. So I waited and called her back about 3 mins. Upon us hanging to tell her that ill be up there to pay with my debit card so then she say if you come in and pay with debit card that machine isn't working so I say what!! So then she say I have a long line I will have to call you back. Wait, didn't you tell me you were calling accounting and you will call me back & then she say your card haven't been charged its all in pending. Yes, y'all charge 251.76 in the 27th that's the purpose of my call. This lady here does not have good customer services. I will not be returning to the Enterprise at 5771 Stage rd. Every again. Update. Just wanted to add that this Enterprise branch just charged $958.81 without my authorization!!! That says it all! They are unprofessional and will unethically bill you! They will not help you and you will go unnoticed for at least ten minutes before they open their mouth to say "how can I help you?" No greeting. Nothing. Stay away from this place! read more

Worst experience ever! I frequently rent from Enterprise, but this was my first experience at this location. I called ahead the day before my rental to confirm what documents I would need when renting a car, and on the day of my rental I called ahead an hour and a half early to confirm my reservation and to schedule a pickup. When I left work to meet for pickup at my home I called to see where the driver was and was told they did not have a request for pickup, nor was the driver available for awhile. I explained I had left work and the associate stated she was sorry, but they also did not have my type of car available and she didn't know when she would. I told her I would just drive to the rental office, I did not have time to wait, and she said that was fine. When I arrived at the rental office she would not accept the documents required for rental, even when I had verified the day before they were acceptable. The associate continued to argue with me and said she could not do anything for me. So here I am at the 11th hour trying to arrange alternate transportaion. Not only was the associate rude and unhelpful, the other staff in the office did not assist in any way...one of them was the manager and he allowed this experience to continue and did nothing to step in and at least leave me with a positive impression. Bottom line...I understand policies, but bad attitudes are not acceptable. read more

Worst experience ever!! I had my purse stolen and went to get a valid license, but enterprise said it wasn't valid. They took me back to my car with no window and told me to go back to the DMV. I went to get another valid license they'd accept, I called them when I was 10 minutes from where I needed to be picked up. They told me they'd send someone. I waited an hour before they finally showed up. They literally told me "we forgot." I then canceled my claim with insurance and enterprise agreed to cover 1 day and I'd cover the other day a Total of 2 days. They went against their word and charged our insurance 3 days!! I'm now having to deal with all this even more than I should have to. I will not recommend them to anyone! I called this past Saturday to get everything handled but the manager wasn't there. They said she'd call back around 1 Saturday, it is now Monday and I still have not heard from her. Clearly their manager isn't setting a great example for their staff. read more

Been renting from them for several years for business and personal use. Always have an excellent experience with their staff and their prices are competitive with the other companies. They will usually match any price you can get from another company and that is a plus. If I could make 1 suggestion, it would concern the cleanliness of the cars. The car might have been run thru the car wash but the overall cleanliness of the cars are a little weak. The windows specifically. The cars usually have GPS suction marks on the windshields from multiple users and usually are in need of a general interior cleaning. Other than that, you won't go wrong renting from Enterprise. read more

Please stay away...... I have never written a review before but this is my first. The customer care is horrible. I called earlier today about a full size SUV, the lady I spoke with at the branch assured me they had a premium full size SUV for me. I SAID COOL. I get to the branch and someone is pulling off into the SUV. I am totally crush due to me and my family is suppose to be going out of town this weekend but we can't now. Reservation number and all in hand. I have been on the phone with customer care and customer escalations, oh they have a 2 day turnaround on getting to complaints. So that is Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. What a joke....I doubt this review will be helpful or get any where but at least I tried my best and lived up to my end over the deal. I am so upset at the point..Geico will know about this incident. The guys you have working at these sites are a joke......they always lie like a old dirty rug. I spoke to the manager at the location Curtis Fuqua, looks like my 14 year old son age, just outright lie to me. Out of all the rental car companies my insurance company has to choose Enterprise. I am thinking about putting the 10 day rental on my card and getting reimbursed by Geico. The bad th8ng about this is not the first time I have been screwdriver by enterprise. But what choice I have Thanks Enterprise and Geico. Maybe I need to change insurance carriers as well. read more

I recently took a trip to Memphis TN with my wife and was staying in an extended stay hotel in Bartlett TN , and needed transportation while were there. There was an Enterprise car rental service just about a mile from where we were staying. My wife and I were able to make a reservation and pick up with than the hour, after we had the car and couple of days we received a call from Enterprise letting us know that the car we rented from them was going to be sold and they wanted to conserve millage on it. Well at first I was a little uneased and they said they were very sorry for the inconvenience and would give us a full upgrade and gas to no expense of our own. Nice Enterprise :) read more

I will never use this company again. I made a reservation 2.5 weeks in advance of my trip and Enterprise confirmed it the day before I was to leave. When I showed up to get my car, they informed me they HAD NO CARS!!! After about an hour there while they hemmed and hawed about what to do, a lady showed up returning her car one day early. Did I want her car? Of course! Too bad, it needs an oil change. I ended up taking THEIR car for an oil change. They paid for it but I was very angry. Why make a reservation and confirm it when they don't have anything?? We chose this location for the ease and proximity near our home. Going all the way to the airport would have been much faster. Guys at the counter seemed completely unprofessional and lacking in the knowledge of what to do. They just stood there and smiled dumbly while checking the parking lot. Guess they thought one would drop from the sky and magically appear. Lesson learned. Never again. read more
