Somehow, my order was "not in the sales system", which the manager on duty used to excuse the lack of communication. Due to the damage, the car needed additional work, but the manager did not offer any price adjustment, any refund of the transfer fee- just the opportunity to "sell through" and pay the same sticker price and a loaner. I cannot imagine fumbling the process and the customer service any harder.

Both the owner and the junior guy inspected my car. The junior guy showed me the comps. I asked if could go higher based on the data points. He said it was out of his control and he needed to ask the owner who was helping a couple at the time.
