We had a great experience buying a car from this location. I really dislike traditional car dealerships, haggling, and high pressure sales tactics. Enterprise's "no haggle" pricing is real -- the price listed on their website for the car we wanted was exactly the price we paid - and it was a really good price. Plus, you don't realize that the amount of time it takes to buy a car from a dealer is because of all the negotiation tactics, etc. This was SO speedy - about an hour from deciding to buy to walking out with the keys. A few things: 1) We were looking for a particular color (in a particular make, model, etc) that was harder to fine, so we ended up paying Enterprise $300ish to ship the car we wanted from PA to MD. That worked great - it took about a week (as I was told to expect), and then we had first dibs on buying the car if we liked it upon arrival. 2) After purchase we took the car to our trusted mechanic and did a full "pre-purchase" inspection. It was in great shape. It was a huge relief to me to know that we had 7 days to return the car (for $200) if it had turned out to have issues. 3) Ty on the Enterprise team helped us and she was straightforward, friendly, and responsive. Definitely recommend working with her - but we interacted with others on the team and everyone seemed great. I think having a commission structure where sales reps get paid a flat fee per vehicle (rather than making more if the price goes up) supports sales reps in being efficient and straightforward. I know some people have a bias against buying former rental cars, but in my experience having now owned a couple, they are maintained well (with a clear and documented maintenance history), in very good shape, and often end up being a great deal. 100% recommend buying a car through Enterprise Car Sales and specifically the Lanham location and team. I purchased a 2020 Toyota Corolla in March of 2023 from the Woodbridge location and continue to find issues with this car that would have been missed at the initial sale. First it was my bumper popping out, now it's the motor to my windshield wipers, sensor issues with the back seatbelts, paint oxidation, etc. I will never EVER purchase a vehicle from this company again. I was very surprised to find how lax the folks at Enterprise Car Sales are. Car dealerships normally give me anxiety. Salespeople have to meet their quotas. They will usually pressure the customer into a purchase he or she may not want. That's not really the case here. Enterprise sales really look​ out for the customer's needs and budget from the get-go. I was very happy with the purchase process. I originally just walked in to see if I could find a suitable minivan for our family. I was shocked to learn that their most expensive model, a 2016 Chrysler Town & Country, was well under my perceived price range. In fact, they had many great models for good prices. If I were looking for a 4-door sedan I'd probably go crazy trying to have to pick the right one. Unlike a brand name dealership, there are plenty of options here: KIA, Honda, Hyundai, Ford, Toyota, etc. I only wish this location had more hybrids and electric vehicles. Kevin was our sales guy. I had not planed or even thought about checking-in let alone reviewing a car rental place, But Mann!!! This customer service is UNBELIEVABLE!!! It started with friendly customer service on the phone. I called to check to ensure I would be in the their pick-up ratios. While in the phone they also confirmed my reservation. A lot of times the person will only give you the information you ask for and nothing more, but here you get the since that they actually care about your experience. What?!? Where do they do that? (But honestly I hadn't noticed) I was arriving by Metro so I called for pick-up a few stops before my destination. They let me know what color, make and model the person would be in. Great! The person arrived shortly after I did! Great! When I get to the office a difference associate is holding the door open and greeting me by name. What?!? Who does this? The check-out process is quick and painless. And I'm out the door. Meanwhile I watch someone open the door for every customer that enters. Excellent service until an issue comes up. I located a vehicle online with the exact options I wanted at a Pennsylvania Enterprise Car Sales location. I thought I was calling them and a representative from the Lanham location answered. She told me you don't have to drive there to buy the car because we can have it transferred down to Lanham for a non refundable fee of $250. Due to convenience I agreed and gave my credit card number for the payment on a Saturday morning. I'm very patient but told them up front that the vehicle needed to arrive by Thursday (5 days later) or I would have to drive up myself and didn't want to pay the $250 fee. My representative told me no problem, we will take care of it. As I followed up on the status of the transfer on Tuesday & Wednesday, I was consistently put on hold each time for about 15 minutes. I was told on Wednesday there was a problem with the transportation company and they would send one of their drivers up to pick up the vehicle on Thursday. I got a call from the Area Sales Manager (Store Manager) early Thursday afternoon saying she had bad news. The vehicle I paid a $250 non refundable transfer fee for was SOLD on Wednesday night! I was given an explanation that a mistake was made by the Pennsylvania location. No one at the Lanham location accepted responsibility or apologized. When I asked for some type of compensation (including just a free car wash or a rental vehicle until they found me another vehicle) the response was "WE DON'T HAGGLE"! I was blown away! I was refunded my $250 fee. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THE LANHAM ENTERPRISE CAR SALES LOCATION! Later that night the Rockville location found me another car with similar options at a similar price that was going through certification and would be ready in a couple of days. ROCKVILLE LOCATION IS GREAT! Unfortunately I was out of time and needed to make a purchase immediately due to my vacation ending the next day. I purchased a very similar vehicle to the one I originally wanted at Carmax on Friday. I hope this review saves people time & money! read more

Super pleasant people to deal with. We pretty much knew the car we wanted. We called and set the appointment. When we got there we started having 2nd thoughts about our choice. They allowed us to look around. After much debate we stuck with our original choice of a 15 Escape. We had secured our own financing prior to the appointment but for gits and shiggles we had them try to beat it and they did. So not only were we buying the car we wanted but for a better rate then originally planned. When all was said and done we were handed our keys. And we had hard tags to boot. No temp tags here! It was far and wide the best car buying experience we've ever had. I know wealthy where I'm going next time I need a car. Today I received a phone call from Michael at this location, After telling him I already found another vehicle he proceeded to ask me whether it was new or used and then went on to ask "what happened you were supposed to contact us, why didn't I use enterprise? And as we got closer to the closing of the agreement - the shorter the response was from the agent (seeming to be a little agitated with my questions). After buying the car - the customer service has sucked since that time. The Manager was of very little if any help. I dreaded buying a new car simply because of the car dealership experience. Boy was I wrong when it came to Enterprise Car Sales- Lanham! I called ahead of time and was forthcoming with my situation- recent college grad with a ton of loans, just starting out with my first job. They were able to get me an excellent financing rate and were upfront with what was realistically in my range. I was met at the location by Shannon and she was so patient and kind when I was picky and indecisive! I drove home with a beautiful 2015 Sonata with the exact look and features I was looking for. The only downside is I asked how many times my credit report would be pulled and I was told once. Well it was pulled three times. Since my car payment is so great (after getting turned down by my bank and a credit union) I won't ding them a star for it. On May 7, 2016, I purchased a 2016 Durango with 25,000 miles on it from Enterprise Car Sales, 7710 Annapolis Rd Lanham Md. By May 13, the engine light was on. Every time I would use my automatic starter the truck would start, run for around 30 sec.or so then cut off. I took it back to Enterprise and was told that they did a diagnostic and the gas door latch needed to be adjusted, and that they turned the engine light off. Two days later after using my automatic starter, it ran around 20 sec. and cut off. The engine light came back on. I called Enterprise and suggested they take it to the dealer. I turned the truck over to enterprise on May 18, 2016 for them to take it to the dealer, which they did. I got my truck back on June 9, 2016. I was told that they replaced the gas door and everything was fine. By June 11, 2016 the engine light is back on. read more
