Made an appointment for 3:20pm for my son. Office calls me at 11:30am and asks if I can come earlier and I let them know I can't because I already scheduled my time off at work. I got caught and traffic and was going to be late but my husband was at the office and told them I was late and they said "just let us know when they get here." I RUSHED to get there. I had to drive a half hour there (45min with traffic). When I showed up they said they couldn't take us. i don't believe they had any intention of seeing us and rather than telling my husband I didn't have to come they waited until I got there to send us away. I told them I will find a more respectful office. read more

Dr Brody is good, but I hadn't been told that her checking my nose for a sinus infection was considered a "nasal endoscopy" that wasn't fully covered by my insurance because it was automatically coded diagnostic, so I got a bill for over $200. I got through to billing on Sept 5 who said they would look into it, but since then I have been calling the office for days and keep getting transferred and I can't get through to anyone. Disappointing. I'm considering cancelling future appointments if this is how the office deals with patients. I don't trust them and am afraid of getting more big bills read more

They advertise that they treat sleep conditions. When to the Voorhees office. First visit with Dr. Speich was in Feb. underwent an array of tests . In early July received an approval letter from my insurance company. Then nothing! Waited, Aug, Sept, October, then received a date in mid November, only to be called that night before that it was cancelled! A month later I received a letter to go to another practice with my tail between my legs! read more

I was actively seeing Dr. Mithani and the allergy nurses for about 2 years. I started right before Covid hit with an initial allergy test. When Covid hit the US harder, I stopped coming for the few months that they were closed and came back. Once a week I received allergy shots from the allergy nurses and each time the service seemed to get worse and worse. The office staffing was an issue and tanked when Cynthia was out on maternity leave. I once had to wait 1 hour just to get my shot because a new nurse forgot about my appointment. To make matters worse, you are required to wait 30 minutes after in the waiting room (so a total of 1.5 hours). Although the wait times were high, I took Covid and staffing issues into consideration and gave the office the benefit of the doubt. I can tolerate waiting for good service, but the final straw was the rudeness from the nurses because they are overbooked by office management and the inconsideration for my patronage. I explained that I would be switching insurance plans multiple times to the nurses and doctor Mithani. Instead of providing me with information, they handed me a paper with an insurance code. By this time I was on my maintenance dose and wanted to continue the allergy shots so all of my time, effort, and copays would pay off. I was shocked and disappointed to see that when I did not schedule a visit in the two week time period, I did not receive a phone call or email from the office. Something tells me that they did not reach out because I mentioned that my insurance would change which leads me to believe they are money hungry. At this point, months have gone by since my last visit and I have great insurance, but I am so appalled at the office's and doctor's lack of empathy towards me (a patient who gave them all holiday cards) that I will never go back to this office again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! They will rip you off in terms of money. My son was scheduled for an auditory test that had to be read by the ENT afterwards. We were charged a copay for the test, and a copay for the Doctor to read the test. Not to mention, this all happened on the SAME DAY. That's like going to get an X-ray, paying a copay for the X-ray and then paying a copay for the Dr to read it. So instead of your office visit copay being $15, it's now $30. Make that make sense. To add fuel to the flame, the Dr is very dismissive when you try to explain the issue you are having. Needless to say, we will NEVER be returning. read more

I received good and friendly medical treatment and service for my allergies from Dr. Mithani and her staff for more than a year. I requested the same for my two minor children - as they were suffering from what we suspect were allergies. Then things fell apart. My wife had no trouble making appointments for our two children over the phone. However, she was not forewarned or advised by the representative that they would HAVE TO BE accompanied by a parent at their initial appointments. We were sent the appointment confirmations and registration links for both children which, by the way, take about 10 to 15 minutes each to complete by me - a technically proficient individual. The comprehensive and lengthy registration document in part stated that an adult in good health (not a 'parent') shall accompany the minor to their appointment. I actually needed to attest to the same in writing. The children's adult caretaker accompanied the children to their after-school appointments as my wife and I were both working. At the front desk, the caretaker and the children were refused entry. The receptionist advised her that she would need a 'Preauthorization to Treat Minors Consent Form' completed before seeing the doctor. The caretaker called and texted me as I was returning home from work. She sent a snapshot of the form to my phone. I called the office to request the forms by email for expediency only to be told that I could not use the forms to give authorization and that a parent needed to be at the appointment. Because the children were suffering and that rescheduling would be logistically challenging and only exacerbate the problem, I decided to drop everything and hurry to the office myself. While in route, I told the officer staffer that I would be there in 15 minutes. She told me that the appointment window had expired and that I would need to reschedule. I plead my case and the extenuating circumstances. The response was affirmative; "No, you will need to reschedule"! I found this debacle to be a gross departure from the level of service normally provided by Dr. Mithani and her the office staff. To her credit, she contacted me that evening to offer new appointments but we would be traveling the following day. Incredibly, however, she did advise that 'the policy' is that a parent needed to be present at a minor's initial visit. Hopefully the individuals that make the initial appointments, the online registration portal and forms, and the office staff get the memo. Update: I rescheduled the children for appointments at another facility where the policies and practices are not as prohibitive. Unfortunately, the children continued to suffer through their vacation. read more

Went for a check up for my left ear, and the doctor which name is Dr. Brody she barely looked at me didn't do anything to help me and all she did was talk into a microphone had no bedside manner horrible. my 22 month old had nosebleeds -we had a planned to first try antibiotic to treat scratch and if bleeding continues to cauterize that appt was fine but it's when I really needed them that I was so disappointed-my son had a 30 min nosebleed and I was told to go to urgent care -urgent pediatric cares by me do not do this and my pediatrician doesn't do it either that's how we ended up at an ENT in the first place -I am so disappointed and upset read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. My husband went there and was told all of the procedures they would perform was covered by our insurance. They were not covered. He called them to complain and set up a payment plan because his bill came to over $400. Now they just sent him to collextion even though we have not missed a payment. Please do not go to this group. This practice is full of great doctors but this waiting room is the Pits! I think tjeyust have used the same decorator/designer as the DMV. That's right, gray, black and white are the colors of the rather large waiting room. There are gray and black chairs to match lined up in that mechanical type fashion. I half expect to be given a number or told which section to go to. With 2 large televisions in the room why not have them on (please...dare I ask?). Doctor's officea should exude an unspoken welcoming and warmth. Yes, the doctors are good here but the waiting area is depressing and uninviting. Fix It!!!! read more

I called in a small panic bc I had an event in 3 days and my ears were clogged. The office personnel gave me a same-day appointment. When I got to the office I waited only a short time and saw Dr. Brody, who was both knowledgeable and personable. She dealt with my problem then had me take a hearing test to ensure all was back to normal. Her assistant, Robin, and the woman who did my hearing test (sorry, I don't recall her name) were also very friendly and efficient. And now I can hear again! ENT and Allergy Associates is great. I have only been to this location. I suffer sinus infections fairly regularly, which is what originally brought me here. My ENT Is great. He recommended I get allergy testing, which I did. The allergist is also great. I am currently getting allergy shots, which makes me a regular here. The office is very organized. They use tablets to check you in. I get confirmation calls, texts, and emails to confirm my appointments. This makes if so easy to manage my schedule. I wish my PCP was a 10th as good as the are here. Time to find a new PCP! read more

Big difference between Oradell and Hackensack. Hackensack's front receptionist is so much more professional than Oradell. It's like night and day. Dr. Brody is excellent very thorough. She could be a little more personable but it's not the end of the world. I go to Oradell because it's down the road from my house but I definitely prefer Hackensack. read more

This place is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with medical practices these days. Nobody knows anything and they try to put everything into some sort of digital format that wipes away any common sense. You get the feeling that nobody really cares about you the patient. It's all about what's easiest for them. They have ads plastered all around on the rear of busses. Any practice that is worthwhile does not have to advertise like that; word of mouth will bring them patients. read more

I went to the Englewood location---the doctors were good. The billing on the other hand, totally screwed up my account, gave me incorrect info then sent my account into collections w/o contacting me. When I called to correct the error, they were totally unprofessional, wouldn't listen to a word I said as they kept speaking over me when I spoke, and unwilling to correct THEIR mistakes as they kept blaming me for errors on THEIR part. The headaches incurred, time spent in communications and the stress were not worth it---there are plenty of medical practices that care about their patients and provide good service in a professional matter. The business ppl in this organization really need a good reminder that they are a "PATIENT CARE" organization! What a terrible, terrible experience!!! read more

FIRST...Dr Robyn Brody is top notch and a great doctor..it ends there. you won't get through to human in under 30 minutes by phone, and the staff is as incompetent as an old comedy movie....communication does not exist. you wait in the waiting room at minimum an hour, but Dr Brody is fully at your service...it's a shame, best doctor surrounded by inept policies and zero phone access. they sent me 3 letters asking why I missed my appointment after cancelling twice. then the hospital called for same reason, they never informed them I had my tests elsewhere...I had to block the numbers. the practice is simply too big to know what anybody else is doing. go elsewhere..save the aggravation. thank you Dr Brody, nonetheless. read more

My family and I have been coming to Dr. Lesserson at ENT & Allergy Associates in Hackensack for years. In the past year, I have had both a tonsilectomy and sinoplasty under his care. Both procedures were flawless and I feel like a completely new person. The entire staff from the receptionists, Carmen his assistant and Dr. Lesserson himself were professional, courteous, and helpful. When I called with a few questions post-op, the other doctors in the practice that answered the phone calls were equally great. I was trying to have both of these surgeries done on very tight timeframes while on breaks from college and am so appreciative of how accommodating they were in scheduling my appointments and surgery to fit that window. read more

I met with Dr. Gold in the brand new Hackensack offices. I was very impressed with their automated patient portal enrollment procedure. This allowed me to provide my medical history on-line ahead of time in the convenience of my home. It spared me having to fill out all of the forms in the office. Although I was a few minutes late, I immediately saw the doctor, discussed my condition, received treatment and was on my way to work within the hour. The office is impeccably run. I first saw Dr. Brady she explained everything. I continued to have a problem I had another appointment one month later. The office cancelled the day of because of the weather. I made another appointment a week later and as I was walking out the door to go they called to cancel again, this time it was an emergency. They then gave me an appointment the next day on my lunch hour and said I would be seen on time. I arrived a little early. They said there was 2 patients ahead of me. One hour sitting there and I was never called in. They kept saying two patients are ahead of me. The entire place may have good doctors but the treat the patients like a piece of meat. No regard at all for the patient or their illness. Never go there unless you have a lot of time for BS. Place sucks. read more
