He is the absolute best. I have been to him several times. Took my daughter to see him also. Excellent bedside manner.

I googled the words vertigo New Jersey and his name popped up. I called to make an appointment and I showed up today. From the moment he stepped into the room I felt at ease as he was both knowledgeable and willing to listen to each and every detail Where every other ENT failed he put me through a hearing test, balance test & Vestibular therapy to find-out why I was having vertigo attacks. He sat there for 15 minutes and explain to me in detail with the diagram on what was going on in my inner ear canal and brain. He prescribed me some medication and we made a follow up appointment for next month. Just two hours ago while I was sitting on my car he called me to confirm that I did have some hearing loss in one ear and that I should not be concerned about that and we would talk about that at our next appointment. What type of doctor called you after hours to explain a detail when I could've waited another four weeks? If you have vertigo, Ménière's disease or any other problem from your neck up this guy is the guy to go to. Even though it's a 1 Hour from my home I feel totally at ease knowing what my diagnosis is and why

If you're looking for an ENT, look no further…read more From making an appointment online to your diagnosis and treatment, this place is as good as it gets for a medical practice. We've gone here for a few different situations and have left satisfied. Great hours, great, friendly doctors. The waiting room even has some small toys and books to keep little ones occupied.

I scheduled this appointment six weeks in advance with a specialist I had seen before and…read morespecifically wanted to see again because I was very pleased with his care. On the day of my appt, the office left me a message to tell me that he would not be seeing me because he didn't treat sinus problems. When I called back someone told me the appt was being cancelled because Dr Choe would not be in today. Then they changed back to the original excuse. This is completely unacceptable. If the Dr does not treat a particular condition, that should have been identified when the appt was scheduled-not after making me wait six weeks in pain. Waiting until the day of the appt demonstrates a serious lack of organization and respect for me as a patient. Rather than taking responsibility for their error, the office simply tried to hand me off to another provider at the last minute. This is not the level of patient care I expect from a specialty practice. Mistakes happen but this one was entirely preventable. Unfortunately this experience fell short of a standard that I deserve and expect. It is unfortunate because Dr Choe is one of the most compassionate, caring and knowledgable doctors I have had the pleasure of seeing . I will be searching for a facility other than ENT Allergy Hackensack

This is the worst medical practice I've ever encountered. Avoid this doctor at all costs…read more She and her office are extremely unprofessional and incompetent. They forgot to conduct tests and lab exams and when I pointed it out they made me come again and ordered another lab exam. First they said that it was their error and I would not have to pay anything extra but when I had two lab bills they ignored me and refused to reimburse me. It was frustrating and I will never go here again and do not recommend this office.

AVOID at all costs!…read more The first warning sign should've been that I was able to get a same hour appointment. The second warning sign should've been that the front entry to the building was in disrepair and I fell and injured my knee. The final straw SHOULD'VE been when a process server was attempting to serve the doctor while I sat in an empty waiting room -- but I was desperate. I went to Anna Lavotshkin's offices for a simple ailment in November of 2014. All I needed was a quick antibiotic and to be sent on my way. My GP couldn't accommodate me in a pinch so I got stuck going here. Right off the bat, Anna Lavotshkin was pushing to give me a physical. Ummmm no. I told her I had a GP and had had a recent physical, but he couldn't accommodate me. Luckily, after an uncomfortable conversation I was ready to get out of there. The worst of this was related to billing. I did not receive a bill for her services until MONTHS after the fact. (7 or 8 months, for the record) They do not accept cards at all, so I cut a check for the balance IN FULL through my bank account online and had it mailed to their offices. The check was cashed by her immediately. A few weeks later, I received a bill in the mail again. I called the office and they had no record of the check - they asked me to provide a copy of it. So while my statement is showing that the check cleared, I now have to pay a $10 to send them a copy of the cashed check. What a joke.
