He is the absolute best. I have been to him several times. Took my daughter to see him also. Excellent bedside manner.

I googled the words vertigo New Jersey and his name popped up. I called to make an appointment and I showed up today. From the moment he stepped into the room I felt at ease as he was both knowledgeable and willing to listen to each and every detail Where every other ENT failed he put me through a hearing test, balance test & Vestibular therapy to find-out why I was having vertigo attacks. He sat there for 15 minutes and explain to me in detail with the diagram on what was going on in my inner ear canal and brain. He prescribed me some medication and we made a follow up appointment for next month. Just two hours ago while I was sitting on my car he called me to confirm that I did have some hearing loss in one ear and that I should not be concerned about that and we would talk about that at our next appointment. What type of doctor called you after hours to explain a detail when I could've waited another four weeks? If you have vertigo, Ménière's disease or any other problem from your neck up this guy is the guy to go to. Even though it's a 1 Hour from my home I feel totally at ease knowing what my diagnosis is and why

I have had the distinct pleasure of having been treated by Dr. Robin Brody for over ten years…read more Suffering with allergies and occasional asthmatic symptoms, I have seen her at least several times each year. Each time, I have left the office feeling like I have had ample time to explain my concerns to her and for her to hear what I have to say, and that she has conducted appropriate diagnostics and clarified to me her final assessment and her suggested patient plan. I whole-heartedly and without reservation endorse her as do all members of my family. I never leave the office without her admonition to call her if the prescribed treatment does not have me feeling better within a designated time frame. Her prescribed treatment has always left me feeling much better. On the few occasions when my body was either not responding to treatment or responding more slowly than I had anticipated, after contacting her as advised, she has often chosen to follow up the initial regimen with a short-term antibiotic or steroidal treatment resulting in a full recovery and/or accelerating the healing process. As a professional orchestral musician for the Metropolitan Opera, specifically a woodwind player for whom breath support and control and freely moving airways are critical to my work, I have found her to be sensitive to my particular needs. She is appropriately conservative in dispensing some medications--antibiotics, for example--that would not necessarily be more beneficial than mere time and rest for a condition I presented. That said, Dr. Brody's understanding of and respect for the specific demands of my job--my inability to perform with a hacking cough, for e inability to perform with a hacking cough, for example--have occasionally led her to choose to treat my symptoms in a more aggressive way. In short, she is not just treating a medical condition; she is treating the patient. I would be remiss if I did not also acknowledge the other fine doctors on staff with ENT and Allergy by whom I and members of my family have been treated, including Dr. Lee Eisenberg and Dr. Sima Mithani. It is additionally worth noting that the office staff is thoroughly professional and pleasant. Over the ten-plus years that I have been seeing Dr. Brody and others physicians at ENT and Allergy, office management has been on the forefront of implementing new services and technology for more efficient doctor-patient communication: adding phone and text appointment reminders, establishing a patient portal, creating a phone app which, among other things, provides the patient with the ability to view any doctor's availability for future appointments and book appointments online at any time. Instead of showing patience and understanding, her attitude came across as cold and unprofessional. Her lack of compassion, respect, and basic manners made the entire experience very upsetting for our family. A doctor should make patients feel respected, safe, heard, and cared for regardless of their background or language, and unfortunately that was not our experience with her.

This is the worst medical practice I've ever encountered. Avoid this doctor at all costs…read more She and her office are extremely unprofessional and incompetent. They forgot to conduct tests and lab exams and when I pointed it out they made me come again and ordered another lab exam. First they said that it was their error and I would not have to pay anything extra but when I had two lab bills they ignored me and refused to reimburse me. It was frustrating and I will never go here again and do not recommend this office.

AVOID at all costs!…read more The first warning sign should've been that I was able to get a same hour appointment. The second warning sign should've been that the front entry to the building was in disrepair and I fell and injured my knee. The final straw SHOULD'VE been when a process server was attempting to serve the doctor while I sat in an empty waiting room -- but I was desperate. I went to Anna Lavotshkin's offices for a simple ailment in November of 2014. All I needed was a quick antibiotic and to be sent on my way. My GP couldn't accommodate me in a pinch so I got stuck going here. Right off the bat, Anna Lavotshkin was pushing to give me a physical. Ummmm no. I told her I had a GP and had had a recent physical, but he couldn't accommodate me. Luckily, after an uncomfortable conversation I was ready to get out of there. The worst of this was related to billing. I did not receive a bill for her services until MONTHS after the fact. (7 or 8 months, for the record) They do not accept cards at all, so I cut a check for the balance IN FULL through my bank account online and had it mailed to their offices. The check was cashed by her immediately. A few weeks later, I received a bill in the mail again. I called the office and they had no record of the check - they asked me to provide a copy of it. So while my statement is showing that the check cleared, I now have to pay a $10 to send them a copy of the cashed check. What a joke.
