Very affordable - fast - prompt - a little bit of a language barrier but that's a minor issue.

I also want my roof to be inspected by the city as required by state law upon completion of the job, and I expect to get the inspection certificate that the job passed. In addition, I expect the business to be respectful when concerns are raised by the homeowner, like the corner where new roofing does not meet up with the dormer, or metal debris in gutters. This business, instead, informed me DURING A PHONE CALL WITH HIS ENTIRE TEAM PRESENT ON THE CALL they have installed roofs in Rockford for 15 F...ing years and NOT ONCE had a roof inspection. I advised him that actually this was my THIRD ROOF IN 30 years on this house ,and each time a city inspector showed up and left the inspection at my front door or handed it me if I was home. When I called the city about their claim, the city told me only the roofer could call for an inspection. Within 30 minutes later after I had just come in from hand watering newly planted shrubs beside my driveway for 2 hours,I found a roofing inspection taped to my garage door...not to my house, where the roof job was ACTUALLY done. Finally, after I involved my city council member, the owner sent someone out and discovered that the debris in my gutter was actually the fittings that were never reattached to my gutters. Apparently the CITY INSPECTOR MISSED THAT. So I had unattached gutters! How do you not reattached gutters? And how is it that a true city inspector who inspected your new roof on your HOUSE leave an inspection for house roof on your garage? You decide, does this company sound like it deserves your business? Not this homeowner.

Chip came out to our home and looked at everything, took photographs and said that he would be contacting us in about 3 days to schedule a sit down to go over the quote and all we heard were crickets. Called 2 weeks after his visit and was told by their answering service that he would get back to me. Three days later from calling, I receive an email from Chip apologizing and asking me to be patient as they are still working on our quote. Another full week goes by and March is now at the halfway point. My partner calls Chip directly at the number on his business card. Chip claims to my partner that he has called and emailed my contact information numerous times and received zero response from me and that what we have asked for is an "unusual request" and that they cannot give us a quote or do the work until Fall of 2023!!! Bufalo wasted our time and they lied. I refuse to do business with people who lie to my partner about anything concerning me. The only reason they got one star is because its the only way that I could post.

Will pointed out that our house had long runs of gutters and advised oversized gutters and downspouts to avoid overflowing which was a problem with our old gutters. Even with bigger gutters and downspouts their quote was extremely competitive and we felt like we got a better end result. Will called the day before to notify us that the installers were coming. They showed up as scheduled and completed the job. A coworker who used Midwest (also with good results) mentioned that I should ask for hinged downspouts for easy mowing access. I called two hours before the install and requested them and they were able to accommodate on the spot. It was only $15/downspout so I highly recommend the add-on as it makes mowing so much easier! I would definitely use Midwest again and recommend them!

Gutters, which should've taken a day took four months. When they asked for their money, I told them they needed to finish the job before I would pay them. That was done in the very cold weather of fall. When I talk to the people in the office about my salesman and getting a hold of me, they told me he would call me that never happened. When I called and talked to the office again, and was hoping to speak with someone in management I was told only one there was an office manager, not a manager of the salesman or an owner of the company. Think that might stir something up within the company and an owner would return my call that didn't happen either. Not sure if this is a chain or when I look at their commercials and watch three guys hanging off a gutter figuring one of those three idiots own the company. I wouldn't recommend this company to hang a picture. Much less gutters on your house. In the spring when I discovered an issue with one of my gutters, I called and never received a call back. A crew was sent out to fix a leak, but that wasn't the problem. I was informed by the crew they did not have the material to fix the problem that day because they were told there was a leak they would have to come back and repair the issue another day. No phone call informing me when this was going to take place. They just showed up and repair the gutter. I will give them credit for that but as far as communication, efficiency and the nails and gutter hangers I still find in my yard. Please don't call them for your gutter issues.

Bulldog Gutters were hired by my roofing contractor to replace gutters…read more A few things that went wrong with the whole job: 1. I asked for brown gutters since we have a black roof. With brown gutters, they decided to install a white apron (a piece between shingles and gutters). When questioned why white as it stands out, was told it stands out because of my fault, as I asked to move downspouts. When showed them it was even visible from the highest gutter point, they were speechless. They offered to spray paint aprons as a first solution. 2. All corner connecting gutters were spray painted on site. They used other colors. When questioned why they spray painted, they told me they were not; they were just doing touch-ups. When I grabbed the rug and wiped the paint off one of the corner gutter, they pointed out that the paint would come off the gutter if I tried. I did that in front of them, and the paint did not come off (factory paint is baked-in enamel, and it will not come off if you try to wipe it off with thinner). The crew started packing after that and just left. After talking to the original contractor, Bulldog Gutters came back and brought brown aprons and brown corner gutters. An average homeowner who does not know much about construction and does not pay attention would probably not notice anything until the paint would start to fade or peel. Be very careful when they come to replace your gutters. I wish contractors who hire Bulldog would also inspect their quality after each job to make sure no corners were cut.
