A home inspector we spoke to recommended that we call John Briggs at Guttersmiths. John and Marcus installed new gutters on our Victorian, including a very tricky curved and segmented section over our front porch. Guttersmiths provided both quality workmanship and help and advice on how to best prepare and repair before the gutters were hung. In many ways he served as a general contractor, making sure that carpentry repairs and painting were done to his specs. John made sure that we were satisfied with each detail of the job, always arriving as scheduled, always courteous, always professional. We highly recommend this company for any gutter installation.

CFR committed may have committed fraud in a legal settlement that specified Chicago Flat Roof as the solar power's property damage repair entity by sending a sub-contractor to install our new roof without informing us, the customer, so that CFR can claim they did not do the work and completely neglect their warranty. CFR's subcontractor work failed 3 Village Inspections and then our roof was coming apart less than a year after installation. CFR is ignoring us for repair, not returning our calls or emails. For months, I have repeatedly emailed Terry Miller and to their info@ at this company without any response. We are actual customers. Many businesses like this post positive ratings & reviews from their employees, their families, and friends, not from actual customers. Slow: Weeks and weeks went by without their procuring a roof permit. New membrane extended over the drip edge sides of the home. Disrespectful: They came out unannounced and left behind remaining instances of roof installation issues. Another appointment to further address this was a no-show from them, no communication to me that they weren't coming.
