For the first couple of months, I didn't feel too much differences but about after 6 months I could notice that my kid's academic achievement started to show. Since the course materials were designed with diverse range of levels, my kid started at the exact right level and kept advanced to next level one by one. We knew we were on the right track, when less than a month after starting with their reading program, she lost her reluctance to even try to read. Till then, she'd hide under the furniture when she was supposed to read. Soon, with new confidence and enjoyment of reading, she started making noticeable progress at school. And she loves the tokens, games, and prizes that Sylvan offers to keep things fun. His only complaint about some of the tutors is that they make him do his work (which is exactly their job- I would not be as happy if they were not doing that), but overall he likes everyone there.

I have definitely been making good progress with my Spanish too, just a few days ago, I was able to speak Spanish on a video chat with a Chilean friend who I normally speak English with, something I could not do at the start of this year!
