Dr. Sal tried to adjust the denture but the implants were placed so poorly it did not fit properly. I do not blame Dr. Sal he did his best with what he had to work with.Now the BAD. Dr. Sal told me if I was not happy to go somewhere else have the abutments screws and denture removed and returned to him and he would give me back the 13k I paid him. I went through the process Of removing all the parts and returned them to him. He now refuses to give me back the money he promised me and told me I could come and get the parts he had no need for them.Dr. Sal is a good doctor but a terrible person he lied and cheated me out of 13 thousand dollars. What kind of professional does this to a patient STAY AWAY.

Telling a patient that full payment is required at the time of service, when the fee is quoted after anesthesia is administered is just not standard of care for any service provider. The liability alone should have been a huge red flag. The patient had more than 50% of the total charge in cash. The administrator also makes no secret of the dislike for Mass Health or the fees they pay. If you are self pay or Mass health, suggest moving on to the next dentist in town. Ps - This has caused the entire family to move on to another dental provider. Lesson learned - regardless of how talented the provider is, the staff is the face of the business. In this case, the staff has not benefited the business by losing 3 patients - and their self pay accounts.

Since that time, the office moved locations from an aging building in Ashland to a gorgeous new space in Southborough! The office staff are friendly and thorough. We had a wonky insurance policy that only provided X-ray coverage every other year and they never balked at the request to check with the insurance if it was an "on or off year" for me and my young kids. I cannot say enough about the hygienists at this practice! I have grown close with one and going in for my cleaning every six months is like catching up with an old friend over a beverage. Dr. Rubin is calm and non-alarmist. Dr. Silva is engaging and attentive. I have not met Dr. Gene but hear he's great, too! To my surprise, Dr. Sunners then asked his assistant to help putting in the crown. I was lying down flat on the dental chair, and the assistant was holding a metal tool with my mouth wide open. The nightmare began. The metal tool that the assistant was holding slipped straight down to my throat. I was horrified. I was fortunate that I could cough out the tool to avoid a disaster in the E.R.. When I texted Dr. Sunners the day after letting him know what a horrific experience I had, he responded lightly and responded that his assistant was very competent instead of apologizing to me. That is a very unforgiving incident. I will never go there again.

I went in for the first time on Monday, as I moved from CT and needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Tutin had such good reviews I figured I would give them a shot. I am really picky about my teeth and I am SO glad I decided to come here! I was warmly greeted by both the receptionist and the office manager when I walked in at 9am. They are both very sweet ladies. I sat down for less than 10 seconds before I was brought to the room with Emily, who was another very sweet woman. (I have never NOT had to wait at a doctor's office- so this was already a good sign for me.) She cleaned my teeth the best out of anyone who has in the past. How do I know this? My teeth were still sore 36 hours later. It wasn't a bad sore- it was one of those good sores when you know they really did a good job! Now here's where the fun comes in.. after Emily was finished, she brought in Dr. Tutin, who was extremely nice and seemed genuinely interested when asking me questions about my life as well as my past dental history (obviously). He also noticed on my chart that in a couple days I would be celebrating my birthday... and not only did I get a sweet new toothbrush.. but Dr. Tutin gave me another gift for my birthday- tickets to my favorite sports team and favorite place on this planet. WOW! He is honestly my favorite man! I have recommended his office to everyone I have come in contact with the past 2 days and I am recommending him to you! If you're looking for a new dentist in the Framingham area- this guy is your guy!!! Their office is right off of the pike and very easy to find and they are very kind, approachable, and will work hard. They also stressed to me that they will never do something that my insurance doesn't cover without running it by me first.. even if it was $0.55.. they still won't do anything without telling me. I went to Dr. Tutin for many years. He was a good dentist but he read me the riot act because I…read morewould not get X-rays done as often as he wanted. At one appointment he told me he was okay with it as long as I didn't hold him responsible for some catastrophic dental issue that might arise from my lack of X-rays, but the following appointment 6 months later, he became very aggressive and told me I could not come back unless I agreed to his X-ray requirements. So obviously I did not return. And the fact that at first he was okay with very limited X-rays and then the next appointment he wasn't and was much more aggressive... tells me it was more about the money and not really that something could go horribly and inexplicably wrong without X-rays. I always found him a bit aggressive... maybe short-man complex... but, in fairness, he was a good dentist otherwise. Good luck.
