OK I have to edit my review. Unfortunately their website clearly states American Red Cross but I just got an email after paying my $80 that this is not true. Enjoy is now affiliated with some no-name group and that means.... I get to pay an additional who knows how much so that I can obtain a proper provider certification that is recognized by professional organizations. What a waste of my time and money! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Weather related issues in my area prevented me from successfully logging on to the 3pm CPR class. I was there 15 min. early and instructor showed up at 2:59. No help offered. She provided a number to call and when I asked for them to simply refund my $64 as I didn't want to risk having the same issue again. The company responded with insulting remarks that "thousands of people log on" as if I've never taken a zoom class before. Also stated that I already completed most of the course. Not true in even the slightest. The company's response was unprofessional and dismissive. Don't believe the reviews on their actual page, they curate and choose which ones they display. Didn't even see the instructor just kept saying waiting and nothing happened at and I continue and still nothing

I signed up for a class tomorrow and then just before COB today a Friday they email to inform me the class was canceled and offer me to reschedule at no cost. They don't offer a refund and say I can't reschedule until Monday. I need my certification in less than two weeks. Then I start to get suspicious and read reviews saying it's a scam. If I don't get my refund ASAP, I will be filing with the BBB and asking my bank to reverse the charge. Update: This has been unfolding just as the other reviews said. They took till Monday to reply, said they initiated the refund process but that it could take up to 30 business days. Not days, BUSINESS days. That's a month and a half. Credit card refunds take exactly 1-2 business days to refund by a credit card processing company so this is wildly off base. When I asked why it would take so long I was given the same excuse they gave other reviewers. See emails attached. It's obvious that no refund process was actually initiated. In the amount of time it took them to reply to me, I already took a cheaper class elsewhere. See also their awful Glassdoor reviews and 7 reports that others have made to the Better Business Bureau already. I will be updating this review as this case unfolds. Oh and one more thing - in the cancellation email they told me not to reschedule online as I might be charged yet I found a page with a form on their website stating that everyone gets two free reschedules. I thought the class is in person so I did registered but it wasn't and the place I wanted to hired me , they wouldn't accept online classes , I paid $79 for class and I called them asked them to refund my money bc obviously this class not working for me , the operator said they wouldn't refund the money, and I haven't take the calls I lost the job , I don't have a job and this is a lot money for me . I did my training at Bethesda location. Everything was organized well and instructor was great. I did my training here many times. However, they switched to American Red Cross instead of AHA. Now, BLS for Health Providers is basically USELESS. Don't do training at this place. After only 3 months, I need to go to to a "real place" to get a BLS certificate again. It wasn't fair from them to take money for useless BLS. I am looking for a job and every hospital tells me that they don't accept this card. Don't be like me who WASTED $70 and 3-4 hours for something that many facilities don't recognize. You're welcome. read more

I would give this joke of a company ‐ negative stars if I could! My daughter booked with them thinking they were AHA certified because that's what their website says. They are with the American Red Cross. They took her money, booked her class, then cancelled on her twice. They said they will email her cancelation then mail out a check for a refund which would take up to 30 business days to receive! Reading these other reviews, who knows if she'll ever get a refund! I took a BLS Healthcare Provider course a couple of days ago with this company. Full disclosure, I've been working in Emergency Medicine for the past 10 years so I'm a bit impatient with these types of classes that I've taken 5 times already and really only want to know what has changed since the last time I took it... Anyways... I really don't think that this was a very helpful class, especially for those taking it for the first time. The instructor seemed to lack a concrete understanding of what CPR is and how it along with the use of the AED can save a life. There were no situations presented. Just brief skills sessions where the instructor seemed to be more concerned with keeping count of compressions than observing the students. I've never taken a class where I had not been put on the spot and actually expected to perform the skills taught in the class until this class. I unfortunately do not have much faith that the others in the class whom were certifying for the first time have the skills or knowledge to perform CPR appropriately in case of emergency. The registration was straightforward and easy on the website. Another oddity is that there were no AHA cards given at the end of the class. They are to be mailed within 20 business days, so this is not a class to take if you are about to expire and need it to keep your job. They offer an "electronic copy" that can be emailed to you by request, but many hospital systems will not accept such things as it's not the actual card with your name and signature present. I hope that other instructors are better than mine was. I understand that rating a whole company on my experience with one instructor may seem unfair but as far as I'm concerned, the instructor of whatever class you take is the face of the company. Sorry. All healthcare providers beware!!!! This company is advertising the BLS for healthcare providers and it is with the Red Cross not American Heart Association. They stopped doing AHA last year but still are advertising for it. They are unprofessional during the class and at the call center. I called to get my AHA card copy and the informed me they no longer do AHA. I ask to speak to the customer service office or a manager and she hung up on me!!!! (No Stars would have been better) Signed up and paid my fee. Told to go to the end of a class, just for the BLS Skills training. Showed up at the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Monica, CA at the allotted time and the room is totally empty. Turns out the instructor let the class out early. No good, adequate explanation given why the instructor did that (didn't know I was coming, staff failed to alert him, just blew me off). Sent emails and calls, and no one even reached out to get back to me. I had to call them, then they hemmed and hawed and made me wait for some type of explanation. Staff even promised to contact me at 1000 am and they blew that, finally emailing me at almost 11. Doesn't anyone there know how to tell time? This screwed my travel plans, my personal plans, and even jeopardized the start date of a new job I was starting. Finally, they offered to refund my money, but by then I was completely fed up and went with another company. read more

Had an online CPR class. The instructor was rude and gave attitude when I made mistake on the compressions. She continued to call me out infront of the class and said "we need to work on this". Policy to be aware of THEY TAKE 20 BUSINESS DAYS to mail a AHA BLS Card. The instructor was late (car broke down?!?), ineffective teaching, paper evaluations handed to the instructor, cheapest mannequins possible, for a class of 16 only one demo defibrillator. One thing that really disturbs me - there were new nursing students in the class and got really poor instruction. I have 38 years of nursing experience. I completed a transaction online, and soon realized the class, the date and time, and also my bank card I used were all incorrect. About 1 hour later, I called and spoke to Sean White Phillips on July 11th. Explaining to him my situation. That I need to request a full refund.  After speaking extensively he told me his supervisors were currently unavailable but he would forward it to.them the next day on July 12. I decided to follow up with Sean the next afternoon on July 12. I called and Tasha answered. When I asked to speak with  Sean she stated he was busy in a meeting. I requested a supervisor on duty and she told me that Sean was indeed the supervisor. Then I was told noone could assist me. she kept me on hold and came back to tell me that Sean had said I could not get my refund. When I asked to speak with Sean again I was put on hold again. She comes back and tells me.to send Sean an email. Do you know how frustrating this situation has quickly escalated. My situation needs immediate attention so I make a final request to speak with someone who can assist me. After being placed on hold a third time Sean answers the phone. When I asked for his last name he ended the conversation mocking me. Telling me "when you call corporate be sure to tell them....." As you can imagine there is zero customer service or assistance from any associate. I was given the run around and neither of these associates were able to point me in the direction of someone else to speak with.  I am required to renew my CPR license every 2 years.  I have always  used ENJOY CPR for my previous renewals and have referred my colleagues to this service. After my terrible experience with Sean. I will never renew my license with enjoy cpr and I will be sure to let all of my colleagues who require  the same license renewals know of this catastrophic and shameful handling of a customer service situation. I drove 55 min in pouring rain to get to this class to find out from the hotel staff that the class was not happening. I called EnjoyCpr from the hotel. Initially they said the class was progressing on schedule but then after putting me on hold for 5 min, came back on line to inform me that there was never any instructor assigned to the class and that notifying the participants had "fallen under the radar". I am a returning customer, I got cpr certified 2 years ago with them and decided to recertify with them. I signed up for a class at 330pm and when I later checked the email for the address the day of the class, it said 130pm. I arrived at 125pm and the manager of the building hosting the class said the instructor would not be there until 2pm. At 155pm I checked back to see if the instructor had arrived and then the management told me the instructor would not be there until 330pm. I called enjoycpr and asked them why I received an email saying class is at 130pm and they said they didnt know why and would check it out. Enjoy cpr is a disorganized company and lacks the will and quality to improve their garbage standards. DISAPPOINTED. Will not return to enjoy cpr for any more certifications. read more

Stay Away! Very Shady Business! I have gotten my CPR certification from this company for the past 6 years. I received an email from EnjoyCPR letting me know my certification was coming due. So I followed the link they sent in the email and registered for a class. After registering, I received a follow up email from them confirming the class. I quickly noticed that it said Red Cross on it instead of American Heart Association. I thought, oh I made a mistake and quickly called the company to correct the error and get put in the proper class. Taja answered my call. I explained my situation to Taja and told her I made a mistake and signed up for the wrong class. That I needed the BLS providers course by American Heart. She told me they were no longer certified by American Heart. So I asked her about a refund. (it had only been a few minutes since I booked the class which is to take place on 08-08-2018 from 4:45 to 7pm) Taja said "well if you would have let me finish, I was going to explain the refund policy to you. You have 24 hours to get 50% of your money back." I said "well I only booked this class a few minutes ago. Why only 50%? She said "well if you would have done your due diligence an read to see that we switched in august of last year to Red Cross." (Almost all heathcare providers have to be certified in American Heart Association CPR) So I explained that this was basically useless to me. So I asked for her manager to speak too. She said that she could not transfer me from her phone and asked if I wanted the 800 number. I said yes! She gave me his name as Sean and his number and the extension 902. All this time she is being very condescending to me. Talking to me as if I was a child with no common sense. I took his number and called him. I of course got a voice mail. So I left the voice mail explaining my situation and also explained how rude Taja was to me. I called back and got another customer service rep. named NNea. When I asked to be connected to Sean she told me he wasn't available. I asked when I could call back to reach him. She said 'I am not at liberty to say." I asked if there was another manager available. She told me "I'm not at liberty to say." I then asked for the owner. Again NNea told me she wasnt at liberty to give me any information. I then found another number for them under "World Institute of Safety." I called it and got another customer service rep. named Mian. He actually was a bit more helpful. I did start the conversation asking for the address of the business. He asked me why I wanted it. So I explained my entire situation to him. He was very understanding and explained that 50% of my money had been refunded, but he did not have the ability to refund the remaining balance. He did express concern about his coworkers behavior and said he would "escalate" the matter to his superiors. This company is aware that they are being shady to customers by the way they act when you call them. They know they are selling you a CPR certification that is USELESS and then they only want to refund 50% of your money. Leaving them to keep 5-% for doing nothing. They are very shady! Have terrible customer service! This is a scam and they know it! Mian did tell me that someone would get back to me about my remaining 50% I paid for nothing! Do not! I repeat! DO NOT order any services from this fraudulent company! They are shady! They will take money from you for doing nothing! This is a fraudulent business! I renewed my healthcare provider BLS at a nearby location and also found out too late that it is ONLY American Red Cross NOT AHA so it is not accepted by any hospitals! The instructor was fine and did everything right, granted the class was short (fine by me), but not good for first time BLS students because it is not thorough enough for the first class. I called the office and the woman was rude as if I was bothering her and I realized it is because they get these calls all the time. If you look at the description of this company on Yelp, they falsely advertise AHA. However on their actual website, it only says ARC certified. The CPR class through Red Cross was a very informative class, with a intuitive instruction. I found the glass great, however shorter than I expected it to be, I was seeking more information. Nonetheless I receive enough for me to be CPR certified. I don't like the fact I didn't receive a hard copy of my certificate. read more

I had to be AHA BLS certified and American Red Cross advertised that it is AHA certified however after taking the course and passing, I submitted my certification to my school and they did not accept it because it was not AHA but ARC BLS. I signed up through the Red Cross and took a class required for my job. I choose a class on a Saturday at 9:00am. At 7:31am on the day of the class they sent an email rescheduling for the next day; Sunday at 11:00am with no explanation. Of course, I did not check my email on the morning of the class and was informed of the change by the hotel where the class was being held. It was a complete waste of a morning. I registered for a CPR class. When I arrived I was told it was a Red Cross class and not American Heart Association. The instructor then told us that if our employer did not accept it we could refuse the class and be credited back the fee ($79). She told us to call the next morning. When I called this morning I was told they only refund the fee if you cancel within 24 hours of registration. Customer service is rude - they actually hung up on me. Don't take if you need AHA. This is Red Cross and not accepted by most hospitals. They post a memo on their site from both orgs that they claim states that the training is the same. Unfortunately it is not enough. Hospitals need to see AHA certification cards. Stay away. Took the class as required for my job. I learned quite a bit as it was my first time and I really enjoyed the instructor. I thought she was patient and enthusiastic. My main issue is the actual license. They say up to 20 days to be mailed to you. I took this class on August 21st and I waited over the 20 days and I was informed that there was a "back order" on the licenses and that they will be coming soon. It has now been over 2 months since taking the class and still have yet to receive my card. My employer keeps bugging me for the actual card that I cannot present since I do not have it on hand. read more

I work for a Board Certified Dermatologist whom needed to get his BLS asap. We signed him up for the class and the location was changed last minute which was way further away than he planned which made him late. Class was highly education and I really learned a lot. Although some topics could be difficult the professor did a really good job of simplifying the material into easily comprehended topics. Overall the amount of topics gone over too was incredibly value. My classes instructor was also willing to stay after with anyone who wanted help with any topics or still needed practice with the CPR dummies. Overall had a good time, the class was in a hotel conference room but that made no difference to the educational aspect the class was still easy to pay attention in and involvement was highly encourage and almost forced upon everyone so we all got practice and experience with the technics. read more

I registered for a course close to my home and 2 days before the class, the location was changed. I was forced to leave work early to get to the class. When I voiced my dissatisfaction to the company, they not only ignored my comments, but the representative (Sean White-Phillips) didn't even apologize for the inconvenience! When I got to the class, another student said that her class day was changed 3 times and her certification was now expired. Bottom line, if you need to take a class by a particular date or want a particular location, DON'T USE ENJOYCPR BECAUSE THEY WILL CHANGE IT! read more

This was a pretty terrible class. While the instructor was full of energy and great at managing the class, she information presented wasn't entirely accurate throughout the class. . Other concerns included: -We were also told it was a good idea to carry an extra Epi Pen just in case. (Epi-Pens generally run hundreds of dollars and expire) -we were told it would be okay to give an Epi Pen if a person was either experiencing a serious allergic reaction OR regular shock. -Other incorrect instructions include administering the Epi Pen a second time (with the same pen, between 5-10 minutes apart) on a victim if "we used our discretion." -We were also instructed multiple times to use a pocket face mask during CPR but were not shown what one looked like. After pressing the instructor, she improvised with the oxygen mask. This is not acceptable. -There were not enough dummies to go around and we had to rotate in groups. -We were let out an hour early after breezing through First Aid after our lunch break. We did not cover how to identify different types of injuries, but spent a great deal of time going over amputations and passing around fake fingers. -Everyone passed the class regardless of their participation/degree of knowledge. Without a test or some kind of formal assessment, I'm very nervous about actually using my "skills" in a crisis. -While there was a strict policy in place to prevent lateness, a late participant was allowed to enter and join the class. -No first-hand information was given to help in a crisis While I appreciate being certified, this day-long class that promised to provide copious information and training was disappointing overall. read more

Please be advised that this organization has serious flaws in customer service and refund policies, They are not American Health Association certified and when I called before registering the contact person led me to believe that AHA and American Red cross certify as the same, not so. Don't waste your time with this organisation go directly to AHA only certified instructors, that way you will never have your CPR questioned as all accept AHA but not all accept American Red Cross. THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM. I had booked training session for a certain day and it got cancelled, so I then tried to reschedule with them. None of the new dates worked with my work schedule, so they said they would refund me my $60. That was 3 months ago. I spoke to Sean White-Phillips about this but he has stopped replying to my emails, though he explicitly said I should receive it within 3 business days of November 8th. I have tried calling customer service multiple times, each time they said their system is down. I'm really upset at this point and have disputed the transaction with my credit card company, because I believe this company to be a scam. I had to cancel my class without attending it because as a registered nurse I needed a certification from the AHA. This organization now only gives certification from the American Red Cross. It doesn't state that anywhere from what I can see. In the past I have gotten my CPR certification from AHA from here. I paid then tried to get a refund. When I called the person never told me I would only get a 50% refund for a service I could never receive. I don't think this is fair nor is it eithical. I was not a fan of this company. I had never taken a CPR and First Aid class and tried to find the soonest one available in my area and that was through EnjoyCPR. I did not think that there was any difference between CPR places, but I was wrong. I received an email a few days before the seminar that the nature of the classes was going to be changed to part online and part in person. I received two activation keys from AHA to take the classes. But they gave me the wrong activation code. I signed up for CPR and First Aid and they gave me First Aid and BLS. To be honest, I wasn't sure if BLS was a fancy name for the CPR class; but it is definitely not. When I tried to sign up for the BLS it wouldn't let me and I'm glad it didn't work because I would have been upset to go through all of the online training and have it be pointless. I tried reaching out by calling different numbers but couldn't get through. But I also got another email saying that the place of the training was now going to be switched. I found that interesting, but when I got there the guy at the front desk wasn't aware that we had reserved a room. Thankfully it was open. When the lady got there she confessed that she didn't have a roster to know who is in the class or what classes she was leading for the day. She said that her job is to fill in when the regular instructors can't make it. Now she was an amazing individual and worked really hard to ensure that we were trained but I was shocked at how flawed this company was. It was so disorganized. If you are trying to find a company to become certified in, please seriously reconsidering going elsewhere. read more
