Bought 4 jars of jam to be shipped to my home. After a week of the shipping stating they were waiting for carrier pickup, I contacted via email and a few days later, James Mazzotta the owner stated that USPS didn't scan the box and it's lost. Promised that a new box would be sent, I contacted him again regarding a tracking number and have heard nothing. It should have shipped 2 weeks ago and I'm just requesting my money back and have heard nothing. Will not order from them again. read more

I LOVE this place. My best friend lives in Redding, and brought me here thinking I would get a kick out of it. I now stop by on every Redding trip, and pick up my souvenirs from here. I bought my boss their scone mix (which she loved), their jewelry is always beautiful and varies each time I'm in town. They also have a number of cool wood pieces, and I've often wished I had driven to Redding so that I could more easily bring things home. The staff has always been incredibly courteous and friendly, and I'm waiting for the day that I can order from them online - their website as said "online ordering coming soon" for the last 3 - 4 years. One day, one day sometime in the future, I will be able to give them my money without needing to fly all the way to Redding. read more

Incredible array of locally crafted, grown, made items. Absolutely beautiful stuff. Went in looking for a hostess gift and ended up spending $70 because everything was just so yummy, beautiful, funny. Going back this week for another chocolate Mt. Shasta! Check out seems a bit laborious but it's probably due to all the different vendors to keep track of. Friendly staff too! read more

Went here looking for a locally handmade ornament for an ornament and walked out with more than just that. The staff here is so friendly. As soon as we walked in the door, the guy immediately welcomed us and joked around with us. The store has a wide selection of gifts. We ended up leaving with a couple ornaments, a beautiful wooden cutting board and some dog treats for our fur baby back home. So glad that our Airbnb host recommended this place to us when I asked her of a gift shop! read more

Finally, a store in Redding that showcases the locals talents and products. Before going in, I was expecting to see a lot of clothing type "crafts" and was pleasantly surprised to see a lot more than that. Everything from hot sauce made with Sierra Nevada beer, honey, metal and wood carvings, body care and more. The store is priced in line with other stores that sell local products; you will pay more than buying mass-produced goods and should reasonably expect that. I do wish they had some more local artwork, but I did manage to pick up a reasonably priced watercolor. read more

Gotta say...I wanted to LOVE this store, but unfortunately I can't rate it higher. The store itself is very very cute and full of fun, local goodies. Yes it was a bit pricey, but you have to expect this as it's small businesses needing to make a living so understandable. HOWEVER...I haven't been treated so poorly when purchasing things at a local business ever! There were two women running their register. One was attempting to ring me up, but I grabbed an item that apparently didn't have a tag. It took the polite one almost ten minutes to try and find it, without success. During this time the other woman(weren't wearing name tags, but she had bright blue hair) was trying to get her to ignore me and do other things. At one point while she was trying to wrap my things the rude one slammed the drawer with the tissue paper shut and made her go get a check signed(?!). She also felt the need at one point to say "I'm really getting angry now!"....I'm not even sure why. Apparently this rude woman has never worked retail as they weren't even busy and she was acting as though there was 100 people in the store! When all was said and done I paid $11.50 for an item I was told was on sale for $2, was treated horribly, and probably will not be returning. This was my first visit....you're a small, local business that I would assume would want customers. Some education in professionalism is desperately needed. read more

This is SUCHACOOLSTORE! *ahem* I wandered in here and was incredibly impressed by the variety of artisan goods that exists in one small store. This place is packed to the gills with everything from skincare, foodstuffs, stationary, pottery, carved wooden goods, books, glassware... all made within a couple hundred miles of Redding. It's impressive and overwhelming, but such a cool place to treasure hunt if you have the time. If you're looking for something in particular, whoever is at the counter is more than happy to help and share information on the various craftsmen who populate the shop with their creations. Great store. The variety is amazing, you never know what you will find. The staff has always been very pleasant and knowledgable.

This is a fun store to look around in, but it is PRICEY. It's nice to be able to shop locally produced items, but bear in mind everything in there is on consignment by the makers and the store takes 40%. I'm sure they think that is very reasonable, but it makes their prices high. If you buy a piece of art for $100 the artist only gets $60. Still, if you like it, I guess that doesn't matter to you. read more

Tons of local, artisan decorations, foods, bath & body, gifts etc. I thought it was going to be a lot of lame knit items, and was totally blown away by the quality and usefulness of product here. I am so happy there is a store in Redding to get local products! I purchased almost all of my Christmas presents here for out of town family. They have everything from clothing items, food items, (chocolate yay!), to home decoration and jewelry. All made by local companies and artists. Tons of original gifts! read more

I really love how Enjoy the Store has supported local artisans and crafters. They've got a super friendly staff, and there is such a wide variety of products offered here. It will amaze you how much stuff they fit into this little downtown store. The way things are displayed is neat too! Be prepared to pay a little more money, but keep in mind that you aren't paying for mass-produced items, but rather locally crafted goods! read more
