I love this cute little gift shop in town, they have a great variety of cards, journals, and gifts of all kind. For such a small shop, they keep a good selection of collectibles also, featuring Snoopy and other popular characters. Yolanda made my night tonight, a few items caught my eye including a pretty pricy nativity scene and a talking doll. Since they were gifts, I didn't mind the price but she was so kind and found a 40% off coupon to use on the two most expensive items! I just appreciated her kindness so much. My wife saw this bracelet at our local Hallmark store. She dropped a zillion hints about it just before Valentine's Day, which made my gift giving super easy this year! The nice Hallmark gal even provided a gift box and wrapped it in pretty paper with a nice pink bow for me. My wife acted surprised when she opened the package....it was exactly what she wanted!! The owners are always so friendly and helpful. I know that I can go in a find "something" if I need a gift. I went to buy our annual Christmas ornaments and just browsed for a while and ended up checking off several recipients from my Christmas list! They have a little of something for everyone! They were so helpful with providing small gift boxes for my little items, and let me use my coupons. I left very pleased, with a little less searching to do! read more

This review is long overdue. but I must finally give a shout out to the manager Ed who went above and beyond in righting a wrong. I purchased a piece of fire and light glass which was to be shipped to Canada as a wedding gift. The gal in the shop thought they could take care of the shipping, but as it turned out, they couldn't ship out of the US, so I took the packaged gift to UPS for shipping. Here's where the problem begins. The glass arrived in pieces as it had not been properly packaged.(if you're familiar with F&L it is very heavy glass). So my friend filed a claim with UPS, and I reported the situation to Ed. He was courteous and professional and asked how I'd like him to proceed. I said I'd need reimbursement if UPS rejected the claim. He said he would, and if I wanted to reorder the glass he would go directly thru F&L and order for me. Long story short (sort of), UPS refunded my money and Ed arranged to have the glass sent from the warehouse of F&L at no extra charge to me. My friend was thrilled with her gift, and now Ed has a loyal customer in me. I've shared my story with many friends, and I'm glad to do so publicly here. thanks again!! read more

This is the only Hallmark store in Redding, since the one in the mall closed awhile ago now. However, I am happy for this one because I love Hallmark! They always have a wide variety of cards. When any holiday rolls around, they have many cards to select from. They also have fun things to purchase. Jewlert, chocolates, curio cabinet items, etc. Always a clean store, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. I come here very, very offten. read more

What a wonderful store. I have been into several Hallmark stores and this one really impressed me because of the way it's laid out and the wide variety of nice gifts they offer. It's very beautiful! Annoyed to say the least. I have been a hallmark customer for 30 plus years. This Hallmark is 3 hours away from where I live but is the closest since others near me have all closed. This hallmark was owned by my friend Linda before she sold to new owners. At that time I had a local hallmark collectors club and Linda's was our sponsor store. We always received top notch customer service and Linda and her associates always went out of their way to ensure we received special limited edition ornaments and goodies. She kept us up to date on promotional items and discounts. Since selling this hallmark to a new owner, I have been unbelievably disappointed in the lack of customer service I have received. This past week I stopped in to pick up my ornament order of about 15 ornaments, 4 of which were only available during the premier. I had spoke to Ed a few days prior and added one very specific ornament for my grandson..... he assured me that I would receive this ornament and I paid for them over the phone. When I got to the store, the specific ornament was not in the bag, and he had placed a different ornament in its place. The ornament I needed was nowhere to be found, and was also now sold out. What a let down. So I went to the hallmark in Reno, 3 and a half more hours, where I was able to get the limited addition ornament and 4 others, they also gave me a punch card for additional savings, and a promotional 40% off coupon. I said all this to say, I will only be purchasing my hallmark items from Reno, as they value me and my loyalty to hallmark. read more

Sad day for me at Linda's Hallmark. I've been a good customer of Linda's Hallmark for 11 years. Typically the service is great and the owner will even spend time with you, but today was a very different experience and I won't be shopping there in the future. I had a couple of coupons that I wanted to use on Sunday, the last day the coupons were valid. When I pulled up at the store there was a sign on the door stating that they were closed on Sunday's for the month of January. I took a picture of the door to show that I was there. When I went in two days later, I was told that my coupons weren't good. I can normally understand that, but I hadn't been to Hallmark within the last month to know this as I did all my Christmas ornament/gift shopping (spending over $200.00) prior to Christmas. When I approached the owner about it, he told me that the sign was up since Dec. 24th and asked me if other stores honored expired coupons. I responded that Bed Bath and Beyond did. His response was "then take them there". Apparently, Linda's Hallmark has enough customers in the small town of Redding, CA so they won't miss my patronage. read more
