The staff I interacted with were kind and professional, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, my pedicure experience itself was anything but relaxing. There is a sign posted at the front stating that children are not allowed unless they are being serviced and that strollers and carriers are not permitted. However, during my appointment there was a dog being pushed through the salon in a stroller that barked repeatedly. Aside from the obvious sanitation concerns of animals in a nail salon environment, this was extremely uncomfortable for me personally. I have a longstanding fear of dogs due to childhood trauma, and I spent most of my appointment anxious and on the verge of tears while trying to get through what should have been a relaxing service. To add to the atmosphere, there was also a very loud conversation happening in the next room that carried throughout the salon. I truly wanted to enjoy returning here because the staff were kind, but the experience was tense and stressful instead of peaceful. If policies are posted at the door, they should be applied consistently so that all customers can feel comfortable and have the relaxing experience they came in for.

Seeing all three of us leave smiling made the day even more special. When I looked up the establishment on here I noticed there was only one Yelp review and it was a one-star review. I'll admit, I paused for a moment because reviews matter. Thankfully, my sister's recommendation was a GREAT one. Based on our experience, it's hard to believe we visited the same salon. Every business can have an off day, and perhaps that's what happened during that person's visit. All I can speak to is our experience, and from start to finish, it was exceptional.
