I recently returned to this salon after many years away. I had stopped coming when the previous owner became rude to customers, but I heard the business was under new management and decided to give it another try. The staff I interacted with were kind and professional, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, my pedicure experience itself was anything but relaxing. There is a sign posted at the front stating that children are not allowed unless they are being serviced and that strollers and carriers are not permitted. However, during my appointment there was a dog being pushed through the salon in a stroller that barked repeatedly. Aside from the obvious sanitation concerns of animals in a nail salon environment, this was extremely uncomfortable for me personally. I have a longstanding fear of dogs due to childhood trauma, and I spent most of my appointment anxious and on the verge of tears while trying to get through what should have been a relaxing service. To add to the atmosphere, there was also a very loud conversation happening in the next room that carried throughout the salon. I truly wanted to enjoy returning here because the staff were kind, but the experience was tense and stressful instead of peaceful. If policies are posted at the door, they should be applied consistently so that all customers can feel comfortable and have the relaxing experience they came in for. read more

Atmosphere: 4/5. Small and cozy area. The pedicure area in the back does have dividers which helps. Standard cleanliness. Could use some dusting. Definitely not nasty. Service: 5/5. I went on a Thursday afternoon and was serviced promptly. Standard pricing and they do charge for using a credit card. Friendly conversations I noted with other customers. Quality: 2/5. Pedicure was good, average. I got gel dip and one of my nails was a bit too clumpy. She did not use a cuticle softener nor warm water. Just the tool and her fingernails to push my cuticles back. I give 2 stars instead of 3 because after she was finished with the fingernail clippers and cuticle tool she placed them back in her bin without attempting to wipe them down. I know I'm not paying for top of the line sanitary equipment but come on some basic efforts could have been utilized. For me it was a convenient shop to get my nails done after shopping and it seems they have several loyal customers. But for me I don't have to return, was not above average for me. read more

The salon was clean and service was good. I am disappointed with the pricing and quality. I got a full short acrylic french set and the cost was $83 !! The nails were done with pink acrylic powder and gel polish. The nail stylist Hailey didn't paint a double coat with the white polish nor the topcoat and now I'm afraid it'll chip very easily. The nails look good but definitely not worth the high price. An average salon charges around $55-60 for the same style. This salon is OVERPRICED! I will not be returning Update: my gel set is already chipping after 3 days.. I spent $83 on this and it's not lasting. So disappointed! read more

I am very sad to say, I've been a regular customer for years, but I will not be returning. You're under new management and it does not benefit your customers in anyway. I was told my daughter's full set of gel nails would be $58 . We discussed the legend how long it should be. I was asked if I wanted her to have acrylic or gel. She told me the difference in price. ($48 vs $58). I went with the gel. NEVER ONCE was I told there was an additional fee for the shape of her nails, an additional fee for the polish (had a base of nude with the corners purple) AND a fee for glitter nail. I did not drop my daughter off. I was there the entire time. NEVER ONCE was I told, "this will be an additional...". You are blind-siding people and that's bad for business. And now you're charging a fee for credit card usage, based on the total for service. This is 2022, no one hardly ever carries cash! I have never experienced this in all the years that I've been going to Classy Nail. Yes, they have always been more expensive than other nail salons, but it was based on the quality of service. And I was always told a service would be an additional cost, BEFORE it was provided. There were brochures with pricing of all services provided. You all have come in and removed all of that. The salon was always clean. Products were only out when being used. When a station was not in use, it would be completely clean. Your manicure set was individualized and came from its own packaging. You were offered water, tea or even a mimosa. Now there is nail dust everywhere, stations filled with products and supplies, and the manicure sets are one-size fits all. No longer sterilized in individual packaging. And no one even offers a bottle of water. Never in my life have I ever spent over $100 on JUST a full set of nails!!! If I'd known ahead of time, I would have gone with a different option. Services should not be performed BEFORE pricing is discussed. Not, "this cost a little more so your total is...". This is not good business. read more

My appointment with one tech was not honored. The tech stated she could not do my nails due to working the front counter. During the duration of my appointment the person who couldn't do my nails had a client in her chair, including a new one by time I left. I hate the shape of my nail. I showed the tech a picture three times as well as explained I would like a tapered square shape. The tech never got it and I got tired of explaining. read more

Under new management and it shows yet not in a positive way. On two occasions now I've stopped by during business hours and they aren't open. There is no posted notice, no automated phone message, and no social media updates. I believe we're all understanding of staffing challenges and businesses having to make last minute decisions BUT communicate that. Also, additional, tiered, fees if paying by card is terribly frustrating. My no-chip mani was nice and my pedi got me vacation ready. Reluctantly will try them again until I find a new spot. It's a shame though because they are in such a great location. read more

Updated my review in response to the owners absurd response - it only further shows how truly belittling he is to paying customers. 1) I never brought my kid to this establishment even once. Cash told me kids were not allowed there before I even showed up to my first appointment. So you lied. 2) I never even ONCE had my phone go off in this place, at all, on ANY visit. My phone has ALWAYS been on silent when I came in here. To say that you once had to reprimand me and "I had attitude" is nothing more than a LIE. 3) calling me ratchet? Really? Is this how you speak to your customers? Perhaps it is my tattoos that you do not like. Do you judge all your customers based upon their appearance? I am a quiet & shy person and never once raised my voice! You should be APOLOGIZING and not MAKING UP LIES to fabricate some false story to make me look bad & you look perfect. 4) Cash & I go way back. I never gave him a hard time. If asking specifics on how certain colors look like constitutes "a hard time" then you are wrong! Your "spa" is to provide a service, & customers should be entitled to know what they're paying for! ESPECIALLY if you claim to be so "upscale." 5) I've never once got a pedicure done here. Ever! Only nails. So your whole made up scenario about me being in the pedicure room is another LIE. You should be entirely ashamed of yourself. I hope people read your response and see you for how you really are. Original review: DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY!!! OWNER IS RUDE AND DOES NOT APPRECIATE BUSINESS!!! Long story summed up: I have been using the same nail tech for over 10 years now. He was working at a different salon when I met him years ago. He came here some months ago & I followed. Upon first entering the salon for the first time, I was impressed with the beauty of it, no doubt. I have gotten my nails done here several times by my regular nail technician now. Each time sitting in awkward silence as this place does not allow PHONES, KIDS (yep you heard right! Sorry moms out there!), and the technicians all work as if they're instructed to not talk to their customers. I just walked out of my appointment OFFENDED. Let's start with how I made my appointment a day in advance. I get a call from this business a half hour prior to my appointment today saying my technician was running late due to another customer appointment running late. Okay. I appreciate the courtesy call. However, I get there and it's going on a half hour past my original appointment time and nothing. I get up from my seat and ask the OWNER at the counter if he could please give me an estimate on how much longer my technician would likely be. I had to schedule a babysitter for this visit afterall since children are not allowed here. I did not ask for a specific time, but rather a general guesstimate as if it was to be another twenty minutes or more. I did have a babysitter afterall, and my time is limited. The owner RUDELY shrugs me off and says he doesn't know. A lady working alongside him behind the counter had enough kindness to say "it should only be a few more minutes." I said okay, and asked if I may please have a drink while I wait. The owner actually SIGHED and said sure. I asked for a mimosa (as yes they do serve liquor here) and he then tells me that "my technician will get it for me when he gets to me." WTF?? That's how you respond to a drink request? When I'm already waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time?? Wow. Okay. So anyways. I kindly ask for "at least water while I wait." I have a seat and the owner brings it to me a minute later. Time goes by, my technician does my nails and I go to the counter to leave and pay. I'm paying my technician and I see THE OWNER get up from his client to approach me as I'm paying, specifically just to reprimand me. He comes up to me from behind the counter to say "if you wish to come back here, you are not to make a scene like you did earlier." I couldn't believe his rudeness!!!!! Was it really so rude of me to ask for a drink while I wait a half hour late for my appointment? Is this really what he considers "rude?" I say to him "umm... I really do not feel I caused a scene." He says to me "we are not your wait staff. You demanded a drink like we were." STUNNED BY HIS RUDENESS, I look behind me. A woman is waiting behind me to pay. HE, if anyone, was causing a scene. I tell him again "I really did not cause a scene before but you certainly are now." He just looks at me and walks away. I am SHOCKED by the rudeness he has! Please do not support this man. He does not care about his customers and he has ZERO hospitality. I will miss my nail technician dearly but I, by my OWN choice, will not be returning. Not only do they nickel and dime you for every little thing here, but the OWNER DOES NOT APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS!!!! Avoid this place at all costs and keep your pride. Don't be fooled by the "fancy" look of it all. Truly disgusted. read more

***update 12/24/19: thank you to the manager, Binh, for making this right and offering me a complimentary manicure & lotion-- the result was great and the nail tech did a wonderful job! *** Happy with the atmosphere and how my nail tech went about the mani/pedi, but quality of the polish application not so much. There are jagged/wavy edges along my cuticles and it looks sloppy. I'd rather not have the nice massages and instead a really great polish application. Disappointed because I paid $43 plus a $10 tip the tech and now I'm noticing all these mistakes. Not worth over $50 for a basic mani/pedi! read more

This is my third time coming to this place to get a fill in and pedicure. They do a decent enough job, it's a clean facility and do a good job with timely appointments. However LOTS of hidden fees. Even if you read the menu they still nickel and dime you. Charge of $7 to remove my previous toe nail polish. This is not included in the pedicure. $5 to repair one broken nail $5 to cut the length of my nails down. Needless to say that is my last time going there. I had been referring people there. After this last visit I called all those folks back to advise not to waste their time and money. read more

Don't go here. Their prices are are incorrectly listed online and they don't care. Here is some of what I originally said. My mom and I both got pedicures which were okay, we did the basic. Not much of a massage or clean up of the toes. I did acrylic nails and got white tips. Even though it is less work for white tips then having to paint them, I was charged $5 without being told prior. My mom did a regular manicure and they do not do top coats well because even though she sat under the drier for 15+ minutes waiting for me three of her nails were smudged and chipped by the time we got to our car. Disappointed since they were done for her birthday. Their response is that most people get no-chip now since it takes 3-4 hours for regular manicures to dry. I started getting my nails done since no-chip was popular. How did people keep their nails nice while drying? Sat there for 3-4 hours? My mom does not like no chip. They also said they don't have to tell clients about additional charges because it is on their price menu... but I wasn't offered that until I was paying. Will not be going back. read more

Best nail spa in Frankfort, I always come here because they never skip steps to giving the best care when it comes to nails whether it be feet or hands. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars from me is because they don't do appointments. If you call and ask for a certain time and a person they will get you that person but the time is not promised, I asked about this after waiting 30 minutes for my scheduled service and this is what they said. If I knew that was the case I would have just asked if Kevin was in today & his wait time. Speaking of which Kevin is the dip powder/ acrylic/ shape/ design king! I came here because the photos of the nail art they do looked AWESOME. This unfortunately was not the case for me I was asking for a couple of small flowers on each nail... the tech looked at me like it would take too long and it was too complicated... which kind of annoyed me bc why post all these photos on yelp then..??!!! I figure ok fine I'll save some money and just get a flower or two on two nails... I was asking for a rose flower, showed a photo and the tech looked baffled... they are actually not that difficult to do it's just one dot of color over another and you take a tool to swirl. I already had picked out colors and he was trying to add a neon orange to the mix. I said that I had already picked the colors out and I didn't like that orange... took him a little while to take it away. I should have just stuck to no nail art but I figured maybe he knows how to do flowers So I'm deducting points bc: 1) I called ahead, scheduled an appointment for nail art... get me a tech that does nail art 2) no cuticle oil was used what so ever 3) he never asked me what shape I wanted my nails... my nails were long and he cut them short and shaped them square, I had actually wanted them almond shaped but that idea went out the window. 4) I asked if I could just have a different type of flower if he couldn't do a rose... he seemed baffled by that too. Overall it's a nice looking place, I may give it another if chance with another tech. I do like their chairs I got a mani-pedi here. Pedicure was regular, manicure was regular with nail art. The whole process took 1.5 hours read more

I have really bad toes nail, the technician Ray does a magnificent job on my pedicure. It's pricey, but I'm worth every penny.

I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday 11/16/21 for a manicure and pedicure for my son's wedding. At my previous appointment new owners took over but everything seem to be the same. When my niece & I arrived for our appt they had new technicians, a brand new appointment book and no appointments scheduled for us nor did they have anyone available to do our manicures & pedicures. Luckily the nail salon across the parking lot was able to do our manicures. I had to do my own pedicure. I highly recommend NOT going to Classy Nails in Tinley Park. read more

This is my 1st time here and this place is so clean. I work in the Operating Room and clean is a must! They have peel packs that actually went through the auto clave machine for sterility. They talk to you if you want to and not to each other only or at all. Very professional. They have a separate area for manicures and another for pedicures. Came in and made an appointment for 12:30 didn't get seen and started until 1pm. Which was fine I had the extra time to spare. I get a soak off of xl nail set will post photo for comparison. I got a full set of acrylic nails at a medium length even the nail tech asked if medium was ok I said yes. I chose medium because nail salons almost never do good long or xl nails they buy cheap tips that curve over instead of the better options in the industry. I brought my own acrylic as I do nails myself. They consist of glitter mixes so it's one application no color needed. I was charged for multiple colors and long length nails. This set is no where near $95 worth and they know that. The lady at the front argued with me that they consider these long which is a lie. Just wanted to upcharge me. I've been here twice before with fair/good service. Yesterday, I went shopping in the strip mall, and I stopped in to schedule an appointment. After waiting in line, I went to the counter and stated that I wanted to schedule an appointment. She looked at me and said, "I have other people waiting; can you just call to make an appointment." I really did love coming here until I noticed that they were making up prices. I recieved my bill which was outrageously expensive for an acrylic full set. Therefore, I asked for a breakdown of the price. The guy that quoted me started by saying I got a gel set which I didn't so he walked off then came back and did not adjust the price. He stated that an acrylic full set was $48 after trying to use that same price for gel which I asked was $10 more so acrylic at most should have been $38. That was still much higher than the prices they have listed. I will not be returning to a place that cheats their loyal customers for an extra penny. read more

Cash was finishing up with someone else, so my friends nail tech filled my bowl and got us some water. Once Cash joined he was kind and attentive. He was helpful to the customer next to us as well. My pedicure is neat, but there still a hang nail on the big toe. My manicure isn't neat. The nail on my middle finger has a gumbi shape, kinda slanted. And the side of my thumb is missing paint. AWFUL! I've had gel nails done once in my life years ago (I usually get acrylic). I decided to try something different. I read the menu which stated "Gel UV Full Set $38". Ok, great. I picked a color out, and the guy doing my nails told me that is going to be $10 extra for that specific color. So I said "oh, ok never mind then." I'm not going to a special occasion so a regular color works for me. I go to checkout and the lady at front desk tells me my "total is $58". What?! I told the guy I didn't want to pay extra and then he added another $10 on top of it?! I was shocked and let them know they did not tell me that color would be extra or I would not have gotten it. This was my first time here and upon walking in the atmosphere was very calming. The stations are off to the back so when you walk in there is some privacy for the clients. I hate walking into an establishment and all eyes are on you or vice versa. The manicure stations are even in a separate place from the pedicure stations. They also have a separate room in the event you and your guest want some privacy. This is a plus!! They offer cocktails while you are being served that are nice. The reason for 3 stars is because my pedicure tech didn't put my sandals on until after she polished my nails. Needless to say she messed up a nail or two and this could have been avoided had she polished them after putting on my sandals. Other than that this is an overall good nail salon if you are in the area and are in need of a pedicure. read more
