I had such a great experience here! It's day two of my lashline enhancement healing and I LOVE it. I waited a long time to pull the trigger because I wanted a very natural look but I couldn't find it anywhere else until I came across Tiffany! When I got there, I waited in my car until she came to bring me back. The facility was incredibly clean and she checked my temperature before we began. I had my lashline enhanced so we had to wait for the numbing cream to set in. Tiffany waited in the other room so that we had no unnecessary contact When we were ready, we talked about how I wanted it to look and she drew on my desired shape. Once I approved, she got to work! Ohhhhh my goodness! I have to share my most amazing experience with anyone willing to read or interested in eyebrow micro shading. I was thinking about doing this for a very long time and was researching the difference between Microblading (fine lines) and microshading (ombré look). I found Tiffany Tran's page on yelp and love her art. I call it art because her work truly is a gift in artistry. I decided to book an appointment with her, which was really easy. She got back to me right away after I texted her and she sent me her availability. Once I booked and sent a deposit, she sent me a confirmation email and instructions on what to do or not to do the night before my appointment. A day before my appointment, she send me directions to her studio and where to park. Location was very easy to get to and parking was free. Once I arrived, I was very impressed with how cautious she was regarding the current Covid situation. She was wearing her PPE and made sure I washed my hands and was wearing my mask. Her studio was very clean and open. She asked me if I had any photos I was looking/interested in, but I told her that I really wanted an illusion soft ombré look. She knew exactly what I was talking about and said she would draw out my brows first and let me see how she penciled them in. She got started and really took her time with her art. I'm telling you, she is a true artist. She free handed drawing in my brows and didn't show me until it looked perfect to her. She drew one of my brows more natural with how my normal look went and the other with a bit more of an arch. She then let me look at them and asked my opinion and which brow I preferred. I chose a bit more of the arch because I thought it opened my eyelid up a bit more. She then matched my other brow to the design I chose and she again let me look in the big mirror to see what I thought. I felt comfortable being able to be honest with her, but there was nothing I wanted to change. They were absolutely perfect. After I was happy with her final product, she then began the actual tattoo process. She put a numbing cream and let it sit for about 20 mins. Once she started the process I was relaxed laying on my back. It started to sting after a little bit of time, but she put more numbing cream and then I felt nothing. She was very comforting and attentive to anything I was uneasy about. She was patient, took her time, was an absolute perfectionist, cared and valued my thoughts and opinions. I rate my experience an absolute 10+! My brows came out exactly the way I was envisioning in my mind and I absolutely love them. After she was finished, she explained the healing process and said I would have a follow up touch-up appointment once my brows were fully healed. She gave me a care packet to take home to help care for and clean my brows in the next cpl weeks. If you are looking for a true artist, Tiffany Tran is your gal. I'm so pleased and have 0 regrets. For years I've dealt with thinning eyebrows. Now that I'm older, they've pretty much disappeared which makes me look even older. I love, love my brows! I first found Tiffany on IG when she was still working out of OC but had to wait for my existing microblading to fade before I could book. After 2 solid years of waiting, the microblading from a prior artist was not only changing to a tinge of red, but wasn't even fading; which makes me wonder wtf kind of ink that other artist even used. I had recently started to panic a little bit and wanted to make this new set of brows, the "forever" set. Moreover, I have an even longer history with PMU brows prior to that ie. getting my first set of brows from a PMU in Shanghai back in like..2013? So I had A LOT going on with this mug; which all stemmed from those pesky high school years (of course I penciled them in ABG style, I am from the SGV, after all) and just have never had a very strong shape/amount of actual eyebrow hair. I first sent Tiffany a photo of my brows to see what she recommended, not sure if I should do a color correct or just remove and start over. There was no judgement, thankfully; I have found other artists to be somewhat judgmental if the client has work from elsewhere (even ridiculed), but Tiffany was just honest about my options but reassured me that if I went to her, my brows would come out really good, even if I opted to not go through the lengthy process of removing them first. I decided to go with color correction vs the removal process because of ego; I just cannot go any amount of time without any brows. Booking on her website is super easy and she always returns DMs and texts. Her store front is located in a a cute part of Long Beach, has a private, free lot; where you wait until she texts/calls you to meet her at the entrance for a temp check. All Covid safety precautions are taken, temp check, face mask, face shield; so I felt 100% safe and comfortable the entire time. Tiffany first freehand drew the proposed brows, meticulous and a great eye for symmetry, which I really like. I will be honest though, when I first looked in the mirror my first thought was "holy shit they're thick"; but Tiffany was very kind and clear: she draws them to what she thinks will suit my face, but ultimately I'm the one who has them daily, so it was totally my decision. I quickly realized that this fuller shape fit my face really well and I totally trusted her opinion. I loved the shape, the symmetry, and most of all, the COLOR. Tiffany did warn me that they would appear to be a little red during healing process, but that soon fades to a darker brown to better match my skin tone. That's when the fun began lol, either the numbing cream she uses is bomb.com or microblading scarred me for life. The tattoo process with Tiffany felt almost like a tickle for most of it, pain level like a 3 or 4 out of 10. There's a short amount of time where she has to go a bit harder, but once she applies the final stage numbing, it feels like nothing. For those that have been through microblading, this shit is gonna be like a nap! And the best part is, my brows came out amazing! I almost wished they stayed as thick/full right the session, but I knew they would reduce in size/shape/color. I love, love everything about them. Soft powder/Ombre is seriously so flattering and natural looking! I also went back and just got my 6 week touch up; I cannot wait to see final brows after healing. Thanks, lady!! My very first time EVER getting a brow tattoo and I never want ANYONE ELSE BUT TIFFANY to touch or do my brows! From the get go, Tiffany put me at ease with any questions I had regarding getting my brows done. From how long the healing process would take, to addressing my concerns on figuring out a brow shape, I had full trust in her and decided to book an appointment versus just making my first meeting with her a consultation. I have pretty full brows, but my main concern was that I lacked the shape to frame my face best. Secondly, I wanted to cut the time and stress out of my daily routine having to worry about whether or not my brows were done evenly. (Ladies you all can relate when you know one brow is always done better than the other!!) that was my struggle. I appreciate Tiffany because she resolved all this and genuinely takes the time and effort to ensure your brow appointment is the absolute best, comfortable, and safest. The first part of the session is all about shaping of the brow. I had Tiffany do two shapes ( straighter "Korean" styled brows and a brow shape that went along my own brow line) because I struggled consistently doing my own brow makeup, and wasn't sure of a suitable shape. I went with the shape that went along my own brow line and I loved the fact that she was patient and more than willing to change up the shape until I was ABSOLUTELY happy with them. The pain tolerance of the actual procedure is definitely durable. I was nervous about that but Tiffany is SOO gentle and also has numbing antiseptic to help make the process comfortable. I would say a 2/10 on the pain scale. I'm currently entering the second week since my appointment and am in the "healing" transition which is the scabbing and aftercare but trust the process and your artist! It is not the prettiest site when your brows are slowly beginning to scab at random from the dark and wonderfully shaped brows you leave with, but so far , it is so worth the wait and look forward to them fully healing. I am in LOVE with how are beginning to look though and I will post a before and after once they are finally healed. In all, I wouldn't trust anyone else but Tiffany with this process. I drove down from Oakland for Tiffany to tattoo my eyeliner and she did an incredible job. It was my first time getting my eyeliner tattooed. I found Tiffany on Yelp and I'm so glad I did because I love how my powder brows came out. The first session lasted about three hours and the brows that followed were pretty dark. It took about a week or two for them to scab and fall off but when they did they revealed really nice, natural looking brows. Tiffany did a great job at creating the shape that I have now and I'm so happy with having just done the touch up because I'm excited for them to last!
