It was then I learnt that the original follow-up was listed as a blood pressure check. So INEPT. To tis day, no return call. Going to someone else. David Remis was the doctor-on-call when I called that my son running fever after testing positive for COVID-19. The child is non-verbal and cannot tell what he's feeling. I wanted to check with the child's PCP first, before rushing to the ER where we would run the risk of exposing everyone else to COVID. May be the PCP could put him on antiviral, plaxlovid or something, who knows. The time was exactly 10:38pm when the on-call-doctor, DR. Remis, called back, so sleepy/drowsy and fuming that I didn't have an emergency to be calling for at 10:38pm in the night. Did not even review what symptoms the child was running and sounded half-asleep the entire time, but kept telling me to call the next day in the morning. I was like, "Dr Remis am already on the phone with you, at least check the child's profile". No! He would not budge because in his own words " that would require that I log on to the computer to check the profile. Call back tomorrow", he reiterated. Low of the lowest.

I had in mind nasal Imitrex as pill form is useless if you get nauseous & vomit. Student physician says pill form will save me money. I have private health insurance with drug coverage. Student physician needs authorization from MD, who says Imitrex in a pill is useless for those with nausea & vomiting & gives me the nasal spray I want. On another occasion a MD who consulted with my 10 year old recommended a decongestant. Again was offered help for my pocketbook which was not only not requested but didn't work. Also physician's directions for medication didn't match Pharmacist's. Half a century on the planet & any other practice has student physicians they ask, "Would you mind being seen by Student Doctor X today?" and I always give consent. Would it be too much to ask UMass to do the same? At this rate UMass may be losing me as a patient.

Btw, she loves to force meds on her patients - even though they might be not even in the range (only close) of where you would need the rx. You could safely assume a competent MD would would try reasonable methods (diet, exercise, etc) to address medical issues before demanding your patient take meds, but I guess if the MD knows all - there's no debating the subject!
