I don't know where to start. Everything about this Crandon business is almost unbelievably and…read moreoutstandingly good. First, in early November 2023, when we had a problem with our washer at my family's cottage nearby, Cody came out to repair it. We had the same problem with that washer in mid-July of this year and determined that we didn't want to have it fixed again, only to have the same problem possibly happen again in another year. I decided to see what Forest TV had in stock and what their prices were, having decided not to buy again from the well-known regional appliance and hardware store in Rhinelander. I also remembered what several of our friends had said about Forest servicing what they sell and how kind and helpful the staff is there. We were in a time crunch because we had to leave town within 6 days. When I called Forest TV on a Saturday morning and told Gabriel about our need for a new washer very soon, he said he'd wait for us to come into the store: they were short-staffed and he'd have to leave to make a service call. When we arrived, Gabriel showed us several washers and, when we asked, gave us his recommendation based on our needs. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that their prices were less than that Rhinelander store. Gabriel even went way "above and beyond" his position and squeezed us in for an installation 3 days later, on the next Tuesday. He and Cody delivered and installed the new washer and took away the old one, all with the most helpful and friendly demeanor. When a friend needed a new refrigerator, I went with her to Forest TV to pick out her new one. As always, the staff there treated her with kindness, an experienced level of knowledge, and friendliness. Just like their website reads, Forest TV has a small-town store with "big box" prices. I was thrilled to find such a caring, reasonably-priced, helpful store in a small town - they treat customers like friends, like family. You will almost never see this kind of treatment in a big metropolitan area. From now on, Forest TV & Appliance is our appliance store. Thank you all for your knowledge, help, and kindness.

I called Furniture and Appliance Mart in Rhinelander, were I bought the range, reporting that the glass in the front of the oven door shattered. They told me they would send the claim to the service department. After about a month I called about the claim as they told me to do. At that time the service department told me the shattered glass was not covered, even though the factory and extended warranty were in place. No one could be bothered to advise me about this, even though we didn' t have a range. I then went in to speak with the store manager and he told me he would forward my claim to the service department.because the store did not handle warranty work. I didn't hear from the servise department so I called them. They told me the shattered glass was not covered and I would need to call LG service department. I couldn't believe how I was being jerked around. I called LG and finally got some help. They are going to send a repair tech to my house to fix the range. All this took severAl months plus many hours on the phone to do the work that the store or the service department should have done. I moved to Rhinelander about 4 years ago. Since that time I spent several thousand dollars on furniture and appliances from this store. I would have thought I would have received some servise when it was necessary. I received nothing from the store and that's exactly what they will receive from me in the future! I will never buy anything from Furniture and Appliance Mart again.

The store is huge, but they keep it well organized, so it's easy to find what you want. The people who work there are nice and can help you out if you don't know what you're looking for. You can even order stuff online & pick it up in the store. It's like a one-stop-shop for making your home awesome! I'm not a big fan of the hand scanners at the self serve registers. They have messed up several orders of mine and every time it becomes a dispute to get refunded. Go elsewhere. Every time I call there happens to be no supervisors at work. They will do everything they can to shift the blame on the customer. I spoke with two delivery guys after rejecting an order that was received incorrect from what I ordered and the delivery guys stated that they have been having a lot of issues with deliveries from only the Rhinelander location. Stated that items will set for months. Well my product was at their facility for over a month and they acted like they couldn't find the product, then stated someone picked it up, then finally said they would deliver it to my house, just for the order to be wrong? Never again.

Flat Rate plumbing service charges that are extremely high compared to other plumbing companies. One of the services I requested was to replace a kitchen faucet. The labor charge to replace a kitchen faucet which took 45 minutes to complete was $422 which did not include the trip charge. No detail breakdown of the charges until I received the invoice by email. For the services I had requested, I was given an overall cost to conduct the services without a breakdown of each service. I was given the opportunity to accept these charges which I did because it already took 5 weeks to get a plumber out to my house and I already had to pay the trip charge. It wasn't until I received the detail invoice did I see a breakdown of the service charges. When I called to question these high charges it took 3 calls to finally have someone from their contact center reply back to me with their response. While two of the three services I had requested were able to be performed and the plumber was very courteous, the delay in getting this service and the high charges to perform these services were very disappointing. UPDATE: Frasier's Plumbing reached back out to discuss further the concerns I had regarding their service and charges. Their Call Center Manager was professional, courteous and allowed me to express my concerns. At the end we came to a solution that met both of our needs. I appreciate and respect any business that takes the time to listen to their customers concerns to better their service and retain their customers.
