Empire Auto Detailing - 300S

Empire Auto Detailing

Needed a quick detail for a recently purchased used car and Ancil and his team pulled through…read moredespite the short notice! Had a tough tan interior with soiled carpets and worn down leather on a 12 year old car. The team did a deep clean to get as much of the dirt out of the carpet as possible. After the car was done, the cigarette smells were nearly gone and the leather was almost as soft as new. Grease stains, dirt, salt from carpet was almost all taken out (as best as could be i was told). Reasonable pricing, accommodating staff, and neat waiting area.

I recently brought my 2010 Ford Escape to Empire for a detailing job and engine shampoo. While it…read morelooked okay at pickup, a closer inspection at home showed they cut major corners. The Issues: * Missed Areas: The door hinges, rubber chassis-to-door boots, and front under-bumper spoiler were left completely filthy. The two front rims also had dirt left in the crevices. * Overspray: Engine shampoo dressing was left splattered over my wiper arms, lower windshield, grill, and license plate frame. * Poor Service: There was a white stain on my rear seat. The shop insisted it was "permanent paint" and couldn't be removed. I used a cheap over-the-counter upholstery cleaner at home, and it came right off. The Resolution: I sent photo proof to the owner. He initially tried to excuse it but eventually apologized and offered a touch-up. I declined the offer. My gas and time to drive back and forth would not be compensated. I did all the touch-ups myself to get the car looking right. I believe that detailing shops should pay attention to details--that is what it is all about--no matter the age or value of the car. I paid good money for a professional job and got a sloppy one. I will not be returning, nor can I recommend their services.

We have a friend who spoke very highly of the car wash they got here. We came on a weekend…read moreafternoon, and there were a few cars ahead of us. We moved up bit by bit, and the wait wasn't too long. On the wall, there's a list of services and prices. We did notice that since our friend sent a photo of the services, prices have increased by a few dollars. The first stop is pulling up and getting out so that they can vacuum the foot wells. Then, they remove the floor mats to hose them down and get your car onto the track to go through the wash. There's a corridor to walk through to the cashier. On the way, you can see your car going through the wash. I noticed a sign overhead for washing and cleaning the undercarriage of your car and a button on the right. Press and hold down the button when your car passes this area. There are large scrubbers for the side and top of your car. Remember to ask for a senior discount if you're a senior. I believe it's $2 off. Upon payment, there's a large open area to wait for them to dry your car and wipe the interior. They seem to be more concerned with speed than quality. We noticed there were areas where the interior and exterior weren't properly wiped down, or maybe with a dirty towel, as there were smudges.

A full cost of 47.00 $ gets a very rushed-up job, unvacuumed interior sides and corners of the…read moretrunk, uncleaned rocker panel, and a supervisor who rudely defends the unprofessionally rendered job by making me feel that the money I paid is too little for the job and that I shouldn't have to raise pretensions for such. In conclusion, if you buy the cheapest service, you'll get renderings at the price of the most expensive. Except for the detailed price, as the supervisor argued. If you pay 300, you would probably have a 47 . Never again will I go there for a car wash!

My boyfriend and I needed a car wash before a photoshoot with out cars and decided to book the…read morebasic wash with OCG. The wash took 1 hour for each car and we were so surprised at the quality of exterior clean the basic wash had! Of course the outside of the car was very sparkling clean, but the details like within our tires and door jams were also extremely clean. I loved that they dried the car thoroughly to ensure there were no watermarks or drips as you would drive away - mainly happens in the trunk or mirror cap area, but these areas were really well dried and cleaned. They even ask how we thought of the wash before we took delivery of the service - 10/10 recommend and will be going back in the future!

I have three words for OCG Detailing - Do Not Hesitate!…read more I did extensive research on ceramic coating and PPF (paint protection film aka clear bra), and agonized for weeks on getting both done. I read all the pros and cons, the process, maintenance, and the cost, until my eyes stung! We even met several detailers to see their work, and gain a better understanding. When I called Ivan to arrange a time to meet, he told us to come and have a look at a car that had both processes done. First off, Ivan is extremely experienced, knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about detailing. He is humble, non-judgmental and unfazed by reviews. He feels personal references and word of mouth are more important, and I totally agree. We were excited to see the car he was near completing, and were blown away by what we saw, the meticulous detailed workmanship that goes into applying PPF and ceramic coating. I thought I was detail-oriented, until I met Ivan! He sees flaws that most people do not with the human eye. He is very particular, and takes great pride in detailing. I knew he would take care of my husband's baby - LOL! Ivan's auto shop is clean, modern, and spotless, with bright spotlights in the working areas. More importantly, cars are kept inside, and there is ample space to work on each one. I had done my research on the top three PPF products: 3M, XPEL and STEK. I thought I had narrowed it down to XPEL, but after discussing it with Ivan, we chose to go with STEK. For the ceramic coating, Ivan uses Opti-Coat, and is an authorized installer. I have to say, we felt very reassured with Ivan, but I was still nervous. I had a gazillion questions, and Ivan always answered all my texts. He even called us to ask if we had time to stop by; there were a few spots on our SUV that were questionable, and he wanted to let us know. He kept us informed throughout the seven-day process! Yes, you heard right! Ivan worked on our SUV for one full week! He sent us videos of the progress, and on the day it was finished, it looked unbelievably stunning. He went over what was done, explained the care, maintenance and warranty, and had us inspect our SUV once again, in broad daylight. The two processes are very pricey, so it is best to understand the maintenance and commitment required. I know we made the right choice, but more importantly, we found a fantastic detailer that put 110% percent into making us happy. Thanks so much to Ivan and his team!
