I came here looking for some whey protein and they not only helped me select the product best for me, but they also educated me on how my body would break down the product as well as the other products that I was using. They also have a fridge packed with cold drinks that are perfect for anyone in need of a recovery drink. Awesome place, Great people, Good products offered. They don't have as much product as like a GNC, but what they do carry is top notch. No store brands that are all filler. As such, prices reflect the product. A little more expensive, but hey... I pay more for a steak at a single sitting... so I will shell out for this stuff.

Typically, I come in with $150-200 in cash, walk up to the owner and I'm like, "Jack, I'm fat, shot…read moreout, recovering from a broken knee-cap, I'm ready to get back in shape, this is what i'm taking, what else do I need?" I seriously only end up spending about $100. This has happened to me a couple of times already. Then I say "Jack, I got another $80. 'Is there anything in here on top of what I already got that I could take to supplement my diet?" And 9 times out 10 he'll say "Nope, you're all set". I live in Downtown Sac and every time I go to GNC they always ask me, "Sir, Have you had your multi-vitamin today?" I promise they'll ask you that every time you go for the exit. They're always trying to sell me something, but with Jack he treats you like family, not a dollar sign. Jack's wife and sister work there too and they know their stuff. I could call in and ask the price on whey isolate, what flavor, how many g's of protein per scoop, how many scoops and their quick. I walk in there and Jack's not there, no problem. They know what time it is. It's also cheaper here. If Jack didn't know jack about supplements and had crappy customer service, I'd still come because the prices are so cheap. Just sayin'.

They always have answers and advice. One time I asked a specific question about back pain and the person called an expert on the phone because she was not sure what to recommend. In fact I would not even bother reviewing GNC. Vitamin Adventure is chock full of the highest quality best variety of vitamins and natural supplements you need. I will say that since early-2025, my body has been going through an evolutionary stage as I have…read morebeen more susceptible to new types of aches and pains. Considering I am pushing 50 years old, I have maintained a healthier routine by eating better, drastically cutting down on alcohol, getting more efficient sleep, exercising on a regular basis, taking daily supplements/vitamins, frequent visits to the chiropractor, and just making smarter choices in life. I also prefer not to take any type of pain medications as those can be quite habit-forming. This takes me to an excellent alternative to pharmaceuticals where I have been gaining a lot more trust in CBD (cannabidiol) products where they offer excellent pain relief but without the intoxicating euphoric effects that you find in THC. Located in the heart of the El Dorado Hills Town Center in El Dorado Hills, "Beyond Wellness" has been in operation since mid-2020. One interesting fact is that I was actually shopping at the Sunrise Mall Farmers Market (on Saturday 5/23/2026) at around 12pm and spoke to one of the owners that did a very extensive sales presentation with the variety of CBD lotions, creams, tinctures, bath salts, bath bombs, roll-ons, lip balms, and even products for pets! I also sampled a small amount of the lotion in the area where my back was experiencing pain and within 20 minutes, I felt significantly relieved with how effective this product was. This is where I made the trek up Highway 50 where I actually got to go to their brick-and-mortar store while speaking with the owners husband (who was amazingly informative as well). I will say that the interior layout of this place is very inviting and rather therapeutic; much like entering a relaxing spa. Best of all, they have very respectable hours of operating being open 7 days a week from 10am-9pm. After getting many of my questions answered, I settled with a 3.5 oz/100ml size of their Full Spectrum High Potency Menthol Lotion containing 3,500mg of CBD (which was priced at $65 + tax). Once I got home later that evening, I applied a small amount of lotion (think of it as the size of a dime) on my lower back/hips where the root of my herniated disc/sciatica nerve pain is at its worse. I would say that in roughly 30 minutes, this lotion does an amazing job as it has been extremely effective. I will also say that just a very small amount is necessary as the CBD in the lotion can give make you drowsy. But remember, there is no intoxicating effects so you will not experience a head or body high. All in all, "Beyond Wellness" absolutely exceeded my expectations as this is a much safer and more effective way of healing aches and pains in comparison to any type of narcotic drugs. They can also be found on all major social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube. So if you are one of the many that suffer from ongoing aches and pains, anxiety, inflammation, migraines, and stress, I highly recommend giving their products a try. My rating, a perfect and unanimous five stars.

The last couple times I have been in, I have had the pleasure of being greeted by Casey (the owner. Hope I'm spelling it right) and Tucker (her adorable pup). I came to her experiencing weekly migraines, poor digestion and chronic fatigue/brain fog - 3 months later and I haven't had a migraine, my digestion has improved and I have consistent energy throughout the day. She was always available if I needed her, she made complex science/test results easy to understand, she tailored my diet/supplement program specifically to me and what my tests results told her. I'd also add that I worked with Kim remotely, as I'm based in Southern California and she in Northern. We had scheduled calls/check-in's and communicated via her online platform (both of which were extremely convenient for anyone with a busy schedule or in a different location). Kim changed my life - I really can't thank or recommend her enough.
