My core fitness has improved dramatically and I give a lot of credit to how Jen and Sandy run this boot camp.

I signed up just about the same time I enrolled in an ambitious Kilimanjaro expedition for which I…read morewas terribly under prepared. With only 3 months to prepare, Sheila made me work it. Not only did the well-designed, boredom-proof workouts make me strong enough to carry significant backpack weight for long periods of time, the training from all the box-jumps, push-ups, squats & much more came in handy on the steep, treacherous slopes. More over, it was important that I protect my injured feet [heel spurs, achilles tendonitis] from over-training and Sheila was consistently vigilant of what I should or shouldn't do. Before signing up, I tried out every other Yelpable bootcamp within 5 miles of Campbell and hands down this was the winner [disclaimer: the timing options, class size suited me better] The music, atmosphere is nice too- everyone is friendly & cheerful. Plus there is an adorable golden retriever that's always chilling near the building. Woof.

Although I am a former athlete, having 2 kids in the past 3 years really left me out of shape. I…read morehad tried several times to get back in shape on my own but I always ended up getting bored and giving up. When I heard about SJ Bodyfit Bootcamp I was really hoping it would be a good fit for me. After not working out for well over 2 years, I was afraid that everything was going to be too hard for me. I'm not going to lie, the first week I was so sore that I could hardly walk, but it felt good to know that I worked hard. The great thing about this bootcamp is that it can be tailored to any fitness level. Most workouts consist of a circuit where we try to do as many rounds as we can in a certain amount of time. It's great because while you are competing with yourself to improve on your past workouts, there are also other people going faster than you that inspire you to push just a little harder. I have been going now for 4 weeks and I am already seeing great results. My endurance and strength have already improved in that short period of time. Sheila is an amazing trainer and it is evident that she really knows her stuff. Every workout is different and Sheila is there to encourage you to keep going when you are tired and to praise you when she sees that you are improving and working hard. The class is very small which allows for Sheila to watch everyone in order to provide feedback and correct our form if necessary. It has been so great to be in an environment where people care that you show up and work hard. The other great thing is that while the workouts are intense they are also short, so we are in and out in an hour. That hour even includes ample time to warm up before and stretch at the end. I would encourage anyone at any fitness level to give this a try, especially if you've tried getting in shape on your own and have found that you need a little extra motivation. I guarantee that you will love the workouts and see results quickly.

Perfect to exit out and be two doors down from the entrance. The location is clean and bright. Lobby includes a front desk and some benches for members and guests. There is also a wall of cubbies and as you walk around the corner there is a wall of lockers plus two restrooms and two showers. The studio itself is a good size with 13 stations. The floor stations wrap around in an L-shape and the rowers are directly behind the treads. They also have 2 bikes and a strider. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed taking class with Coach Sean. I'd definitely go back to this studio when traveling.

Both are very nice, they are bigger than some of the other OT gyms (Cupertino for example). Front Desk - Everyone is very friendly and nice, they seem to quickly remember people's names. Instructors - I typically go during the day so Sean and Shannon are my favorite instructors, but all of them are good. Workouts - I often go to the UpperBody strength workouts but I also enjoy the regular OT classes where you do some weight training/TRX, rowing, and treadmill. I've had knee issues so you can also ride the stationary bike instead of treadmill if preferred. Bathrooms - very clean They have cubbies and lockers to hold your purses/backpacks and coats etc. I highly recommend OT, they can make adaptations to the workout if for example, you can't do step-ups on to the weight bench, etc. Parking - you park in the apartment building garage, I only had an issue getting parking there once.

Note: this review is specifically for the Los Gatos camp…read more I wanted to love this bootcamp; I really did. The location is so incredibly convenient - right in front of the Los Gatos Civic Center! For me, it doesn't get much better than that. However, it's just not a good value for the money. The Los Gatos camp meets only 3x/week (M/W/F) for 45 min/session. The 45 minute session includes a good 10 minutes of warm-up and cool-down. At least 50% of the time, I had barely broken a sweat by the time we disbanded. At a regular (non-discounted) price of $250/month, I just wasn't getting enough return on my investment. The instructors are really nice, though.

If you ever told me I would be writing a good review about ANYTHING that involved me doing push ups…read moreI would suggest you might have been smoking crack. That's how awesome Be Fit is - I have to give five stars to a company that has inserted the phrase 'cardio break' in my life. Why? Shall I count the ways? The teachers rock: I cannot say enough good things about Mike, Jeff and Matt. They remember everyone's name, they're have no problem laughing at themselves and they're encouraging without being terrifying. This is a super-supportive, push-your-limits thing. Not a 'let's see who vomits first' type affair. Plenty of dates and times: Sometimes I want to get up at 6 and get it over with. Other times I want to wait until after work. I have all of these options and it's held all over San Jose and Los Gatos so you're flexible. The workouts: it pains The Old Finn to say this but the workouts are (gasp...) fun. And they change it up constantly. You can do just about anything for two minutes and they know that. And they do keep it different. We were chucking pumpkins at each other on Halloween and Matt has us rugby drills. My butt: after a couple of months of Be Fit, I have an enviable butt. It's perky. It's happy. It's not sitting on my thighs. When I first started going I couldn't run the football field. Now I own that b*tch. Twice. With a jump rope. It's all levels: I'm an an asthmatic cancer survivor with a tricky shoulder and cranky knees. The teachers are awesome about modifying things for everyone's level if you ask. Just ask. Run your own damn race and don't worry about what everyone else is doing - as a whole, the group is super supportive and even if you're doing something different or less challenging than everyone else, no one is thinking less of you. If you're looking for a fun, outdoor workout, you got to try this. Even if, like me, you're not a fitness person and might have a case of Pancake Butt you need to work on.

Our doctor encouraged him to lose weight…read morefor pain management, but unfortunately the pain often gets in the way of effective, consistent exercise. We both knew that we wanted to seek professional fitness help but weren't sure where to start. We found Carlos through a referral from a family member who spoke very highly of him. We were a little nervous to get started, because I recently had a kid and have not worked out for a long time and my husband's pain control is unstable. Our first meeting with Carlos began with measurements, a conversation about our goals, and the actual workout. He was very attentive when my husband's back didn't respond to a specific exercise or movement and offered modifications to always ensure his safety. At the end of the workout, we were both so incredibly tired, but exponentially more motivated to make the changes we needed to hit our health goals. From that point, we knew we had made the right decision to pursue Carlos. It seemed like my husband was able to lose 30# overnight simply by working out with Carlos once a week and following his cardio instruction for 30 minutes at least twice a week. I feel much stronger, and my clothes fit better since starting our weekly sessions and the evidence is in the increasing amount of weight I'm able to lift each week. Our friends and family have also commented on how much happier and healthier we both look. We both have more work to do, but being able to see progress has been so amazing for our confidence and self esteem. In addition to hitting those health goals, my husband's back pain seems to be much more controlled. The fact that he can pick up our daughters without having to strain or flinch really shows how much his quality of life has improved. Carlos is literally out here saving lives. Carlos is genuinely kind, fun, and so personable. He's exceptionally knowledgeable about fitness and the technical sciences behind it, but he is always patient and thorough when it comes to educating and coaching us through each exercise. The weekly sessions seem to be custom tailored to ensure that they are tough and challenging, but he will also adapt depending on how we're feeling. Each session is something new and different, which is what I love about going there. After every workout, I feel so much better about myself and look forward to the next session. Carlos is also very flexible, which we greatly appreciate since having 2 young kids seems to keep our schedule unpredictable. We 100% recommend Carlos for all your fitness, health, and wellness needs. Thank you Carlos for keeping my family and I happy and healthy!

I used to play 4.5-5.0 level tennis, so I came in with a strong fitness foundation--but Carlos took things to another level. He understands how to build strength, agility, and endurance in a way that supports both athletic performance and overall wellness. He trains out of Dimes Fitness, which is always clean, well-equipped, and has a focused, welcoming atmosphere. Every session with Carlos is customized, fun, and challenging. He knows how to push me without overtraining, and no two workouts are ever the same. That variety keeps things fresh and keeps me progressing. Beyond the workouts, Carlos is just a great person--knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in his clients' success. If you're looking for someone who truly understands how to train athletes and non-athletes alike, Carlos is your guy. Highly recommend!
