This is not a gym looking to get corporate dollars off your ass! This is a gym looking to make the community better and stronger (from bonus nutritional content to community volunteering and engagement). The facility is clean, new, and stocked with state-of-the-art equipment - some of which I had never even seen before! CHALLENGING & EDUCATIONAL WORKOUTS The workouts constantly change every two days, so there's no chance of me ever getting bored. What really sets HIIT School apart is that it truly lives up to its name. It's not just a gym, it's a school. I always leave class sweating and feeling like I actually pushed myself. Valeria is an amazing instructor. She really pays attention and takes the time to correct your form and technique, which I genuinely appreciate a lot. It makes you feel supported while also ensuring you're doing things safely and effectively. I used to lowkey dread going because of how tough the workouts are, but realized that I need to change my mindset and keep it consistent. I eventually grown to enjoy it. It's one of those places that pushes you out of your comfort zone in a good way. If you're like me and know yourself that you'd slack off or something at another gym (lol), coming here would make a huge difference due to the structure and coaching. It seems like a lot of the other girls in class were also new to the studio as well. The workout itself was perfectly paced, not too challenging and great for beginners or intermediates. I definitely recommend if you're new to these type of workouts. I do wish it was a bit more challenging but I still got a great sweat in. I will say the hours for classes vary so it's hard to fit into your schedule because of the limited times they have. Otherwise I loved my experience and would try again but don't think I'll be adding to my regular routine.

This was my first time there and I already can't wait to go back. I'm especially excited to try their Pilates classes and the Tonal machines -- they're actually the only gym in the area that has them, which is such a cool perk. Shazia was amazing. She's hilarious, incredibly kind, and so encouraging throughout the entire class. She somehow made a tough workout fly by because the energy was just so positive and fun. I was also fasting during the workout (Ramadan!), so it definitely wasn't easy, but I left feeling so good and accomplished. I also really appreciate that it's a women's-only class, which makes it such a comfortable environment -- especially for me as someone who wears hijab. Overall such a great vibe, great instructor, and great facility. Would one million percent recommend!

I have followed them both from when they were trainers at another (now bankrupt) gym and even worked with them during COVID virtually. Shazia and I can be very humorous together and it's always a great time as I'm whining and complaining that I'm paying her to make me do heavy and exhausting exercises. Don't let that deter you though. Shazia loves to mix things up with her exercises and I'm always impressed by her vast knowledge of things to do to still target the same muscle groups. If you have an injury, she's quick on her feet to adjust any exercise or pivot entirely from her original game plan to accommodate. I had to stop working with her when I was sentenced to bed rest and I noticed how much of my mobility and strength had increased. She will challenge me and work progressively up in weights without overburdening me. Contrary to belief, I DON'T have to leave sore after every training workout to know it was a good one. She has an impeccably keen eye for form. She tells me if my hips are not aligned when I barely notice or that my feet aren't positioned correctly to do the exercise efficiently. She's also a stickler for making sure equipment is wiped after every contact so you know things are clean when you touch it. This place is SUPER women friendly (though not limited to only women). Because it's much smaller studio, you don't have to worry about too many other people being in the same space. I'm always leaving feeling great and knowing that she cares about my progress.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Lynnae's sunny disposition and her slowly easing me into strength exercises. Small group classes have been a boon in the last three months. I have been suffering from depression and some weeks coming to class was the only thing I could manage. Overtime, I have felt improvement in my mood and energy levels. I have started looking forward to working out and gaining strength. I've had the experience of building physical strength helping me build my mental strength, piece by piece. I look forward to the diversity in these classes, Matt's easy demeanor and humor, and getting inspired by other people. I also recently started taking boxing lessons from Yoshi and am liking learning the the mind body connection that is integral to Boxing. Working out with this group has helped reduce my stress levels and improved my resting heart rate, and overall stamina, and endurance. For the first time in my life, I have started to enjoy exercise versus thinking of it as a chore that needs to be done. I also find myself gravitating to healthier food options, and overall nourishment for my body. I even occasionally refer to her emails and notes when I need to remember something regarding food planning/nutrition. I made great progress when I started with her in 2021 to 2023, which was when I did a lot of endurance training. I dialed back on my fitness the past year and a half and didn't stay on a consistent nutrition plan, so my body comp has changed a bit since previous years. Nothing drastic, but I'm back to being consistent and motivated to make some positive changes this year. I would not have been as easily motivated without Madeleine's previous coaching!!! I found it so easy to bounce back into a consistent food routine. She instilled in me a lasting lifestyle change and a shift in perspective when it comes to fueling and eating that truly sticks over the years. Madeleine is extremely supportive - welcomes emails/texts and responds promptly. No question goes unanswered, and I tend to ask a lot of questions. Meal plans are simple and easy to follow. Something that stood out that I was not expecting was... during our first meeting she requested a list of various restaurants I frequent and gave me a bunch of options at each that supported my health goals. And since then she has provided this support when I'm traveling or going out to eat somewhere new (but I honestly have to ask less frequently because she has taught me what to look for). Highly recommend working with Madeleine to reach your goals!
