Ene is a lounge that reminded me of a place I went to in New York City - it's swanky, modern, and "pijo". A group of about 9 of us went there for a Sunday evening despedida dinner, and we didn't leave disappointed.
What stood out the most was the delightful service. Our waiter was bilingual, and the fact that we could ask a myriad of questions about the menu in English and be understood was refreshing.
We settled on the fried artichokes with spicy sauce (honestly quite bland) and pulpo a la brasa (delicious but a small-ish serving size). The 1E croquettes were pretty good and had three flavor choices. Wine was tasty.
Ene's decor is classy, and would be great for a date with your significant other. In fact, they even have some bed/lounge "tables", were you can literally lounge (and I actually mean practically lay down), wine in hand. Prices were decent but a little high, as one would expect with such a posh place. read more
