I came here for a few spray tans as one of those special cheap coupon deals (scoopon/cudo etc)…read more I'm not 100% sure what the place is, its stated as 'Body Bronze', but their answering machine and menu call themselves 'Elements Body and Skin'. It certainly doesn't have the aesthetic/ layout of a body bronze either. So when I go to get my tans, it's mostly just a short wait (5-10mins), then they get you to hop in a booth and take your clothes off (disposable undies available if you want them). The booth is pretty small, there's a mirror to the side and it's about an arms span wide. When the lady returns you let her know how dark you want to go, and they don't go overboard. When you're all done they get you to look in the mirror, to see if you think your dark enough. I've been here three times, the first time I was taken care of by 'Kylie' and she was amazing. Really friendly and polite and she did an excellent job. The second time (not kylie), the girl was nice, but when I got home I realized she forgotten to spray the inside of both my arms! The third time was great again; the lady let me use to air hose thingo to dry myself off. Overall the colour is a 'tiny-little' bit on the orange side, personally I don't really mind the colour-I like the look of fake tan. However my sister and father both commented on why my legs were such a strange colour (my boyfriend on the other hand loved it!). I would probably try to find a different place to see how their colours are, but I am still very happy with this place.

I was consulted with about the best colour for my skin and they customised a colour for me. I was given extra care with moisturiser on my hands and feet and Katrina made me feel so comfortable while I was getting my spray tan. She even dried me afterwards, which makes it much better when needing to put clothes on straight away. The end result was amazing. I looked like I had just spent 3 months in Tuscany and I couldn't believe how natural and real it looked. I was given advice on how to keep my tan longer and how to make sure it fades evenly. Also the fact that I could have a shower after only 2 hours was really practical for me. I was even offered a moisturiser so I didn't have to go out and find one myself. ' Needless to say I have been back numerous times and tried different shades and colours and I have never been disappointed. Katrina is so talented and caring and careful and your satisfaction is her only goal. I could never go anywhere else now and I couldn't recommend The Tan Bar Melbourne highly enough!!

When calling up, I explained to her that I desperately needed a wax and I was also a fuller figured woman she was professional and very accommodating. I was booked in with Alice. In a matter of weeks (15 sessions so far) my body transformed and I'm going for another 36 sessions. That's what Foxy specalises in, transforming yourself. Whether its weight/centimetre loss via Hypoxi, weight management programs (can't vouch for this, haven't tried it) or spray tanning - the ladies at Foxy are incredibly friendly and generous meaning your time in the salon is comfortable and full of laughs. Hypoxi isn't the most hip pocket friendly method of shedding lots of centimetres, but honestly it's fast and effective. If you do the right things, your time at Foxy will be well worth it. Been a great experience so far.
