Its perfect for both the nature lover, and those with that pesky irritable skin that only has to look at a product the wrong way to get a rash. In my experience, Vanish has some of the most professional and talented waxers I have ever visited. It is not local to me so I dont often visit, however anytime I have, I've been quite satisfied with the end results. The girls are friendly and full of advice about waxing, I never knew it was so complicated! I do find the services a little on the expensive side but I also believe you get what you pay for. As far as I can tell, all the staff are female and they've all been consistently lovely and friendly and totally competent at their work. The treatment rooms are clean and uncluttered, and there are hooks to hang your clothes on. Other than the pain that comes with the wax treatments, which is mostly inevitable, the only downside is the music they play - mainstream, commercial radio. Terrible. The lady who did the waxing was nice and professional. She took her time and the appointment was not rushed. This was my first waxing experience in Melbourne and the price seemed fairly reasonable from what I've compared on the internet. The only downside is the position of the room that waxing is done in - the door opens into the hair salon so depending on where people (men included) are having their haircuts, there's a chance that someone might get a peek into the room (think mirrors everywhere). Luckily for me, there was only one person having his hair done at the time and they had him in a seat that could not see into the room. Overall, the experience was as enjoyable as waxing can go.
