I want LOVE this place, for the awesome décor, sophisticated feel, super-nice rooms and delicious robes, but the last three times I have been they have kept me waiting 15 minutes after my booked massage start time and it makes me REALLY ANNOYED. So by the time I am finally lying on the massage table I am shirty and grumpy and wondering if I am going to get my money's worth, which I don't because they finish the massage after 45 minutes. And when I finally go to pay I don't want to say anything because the place is all zenful and the people who work there are really nice and I feel like if my biggest problem in the world is 15 wasted minutes then I am probably a spoiled brat. They do do very good spray tans though, so maybe I can forgive them.

Considering that Brazilian Butterfly specialises almost entirely in, ahem, waxing of a certain…read moresensitive area, I'm going to keep this as discreet and general as I can whilst discussing that unique experience of having hot wax poured on you and then ripped off with exceptional speed and force. Berwick Brazilian Butterfly lost me as a customer because their staff were rough and impolite- two qualities one does NOT wish to encounter while they are naked from the waist down and being contorted into unnatural positions in a room flooded with harsh fluorescent light. While Brazilian Butterfly markets itself as being an "in and out in record time" type of place, the pain factor has to be accounted for and not everyone is going to be cool with a five minute wax. That s**t HURTS y'all. I would much rather spend a little extra and have a beauty therapist who doesn't clearly want me off her table and out of her life.

Disgusting customer service. Unhelpful and impatient staff. Those don't really matter if the wax job was decent. However I received the WORST wax job ever. Large areas were missed. Got talc all over my leg (it wasn't even a leg wax). Wax residue all over my skin. I spent another half an hour at home plucking the remaining hair because the therapist did such a half arse job. I have visited other BB stores as well but the Berwick store got to be the worst. Never felt so unwelcomed and rushed in my life!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE!! I have contacted their National office to reflect my experience and I will take my business elsewhere.
