I like Sunlounge for a quick no fuss service, the staff always get to know their regulars. If you are after a sunbed, they do to tend to get very busy on weekends and during Summer, so it can pay to call ahead to book a session in, rather than waiting in store as it can take awhile!

Not so frequently do i use the beds any longer however, I do prefer this salon for spray tanning over many others in the area. They just seem to get it right every time. The tanning spray they use is Tuscan Tan and its got a rather pleasant coconut/shea butter smell to it as oppose to that chemical spray you normal get with DIY versions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to get a spray tan for the first time. The girls are really sweet and they always offer the best advice. Be warned! They will be fully booked over the spring racing carnival period, although they do offer extended trading hours to cater for the frenzy & last minute meltdowns you will still need to book in advance.

It certainly doesn't have the aesthetic/ layout of a body bronze either. So when I go to get my tans, it's mostly just a short wait (5-10mins), then they get you to hop in a booth and take your clothes off (disposable undies available if you want them). The booth is pretty small, there's a mirror to the side and it's about an arms span wide. When the lady returns you let her know how dark you want to go, and they don't go overboard. When you're all done they get you to look in the mirror, to see if you think your dark enough. I've been here three times, the first time I was taken care of by 'Kylie' and she was amazing. Really friendly and polite and she did an excellent job. The second time (not kylie), the girl was nice, but when I got home I realized she forgotten to spray the inside of both my arms! The third time was great again; the lady let me use to air hose thingo to dry myself off. Overall the colour is a 'tiny-little' bit on the orange side, personally I don't really mind the colour-I like the look of fake tan. However my sister and father both commented on why my legs were such a strange colour (my boyfriend on the other hand loved it!). I would probably try to find a different place to see how their colours are, but I am still very happy with this place.

It is not local to me so I dont often visit, however anytime I have, I've been quite satisfied with the end results. Usually when I get my eyebrows waxed the skin around them remains red for a good 12-24 hours, thanks to my Irish-Australian lily white skin.However after an eyebrow wax here the evidence of my visit had dissapeared within a couple of hours. I had the pleasure today of finally being able to visit Kempt beauty after a surprise booking made…read moreby my fiance` for me to have a pedicure. My therapist's name was Rebecca and she was so lovely. I felt very special as I have only ever been used to pedicures from your run of the mill 'Asian stores' (no offence intended). What made my pedicure so special was the treatment I was given by Rebecca. There were no foot spa's or anything like that. I had to place my feet in a large wooden bowl filled with warm soapy water, then my feet were given that extra special treatment. I had a vast array of colours to choose from either 'normal' polish or shellack. Rebecca then massaged my feet with an all natural scrub she actually made herself which felt amazing. There were no razors, a special exfoliator was used and I was told that these razors are very bad for your feet because they actually take skin off your feet and encourage the skin to grow more, hence giving you harder skin on your heels. The salon also has a hairdresser with over 20 years experience. The hours often vary to suit the customers as the owners live very close by and a more than happy to work with the customer to suit them. You can even order brunch from over the road and have it delivered if you like. Kempt beauty offer a vast array of beauty treatments such as waxing, eyebrows and manicures. After this visit I really can't see myself returning to a franchise type nail salon. I highly recommend Kempt, they will make you feel amazing. The customer service is A1. Well done Kempt.
