STELLAR visit! This was actually my 2nd endodontist visit - well worth the drive and additional money! I believe the first practice I visited was DISHONEST and then resorted to scare tactics to get me to receive treatment at their practice. The provider was not personable and seemed to assume I'd move forward with service at their practice regardless of treatment. I was on a business trip in Fort Lauderdale and needed to get an immediate root canal. Thankfully, Dr. Soto's office was able to fit an appointment in on short notice. I had never had a root canal so I was nervous. The procedure was painless. Of course the nitrous oxide made a world of difference I'm sure. I first met Dr. Soto in the Roswell office. She was placed there at the right place, at the right time. She was so gentle, attentive, and kind. When it was time to schedule a follow up, I was told that she wouldn't be there and that she's normally based out of the Kennesaw office. Bummer, I thought. Well, I went from Dunwoody to Kennesaw just for her services. That's how awesome she is. From the root canal down to not feeling a thing from post needle prick. Nothing! It's as if nothing happened. When one sees and endodontist you are usually in pain and such was my case... Dr. Yanina Figueroa was my endodontist and was very punctual, and assuring which immediately put me at ease. She took full digital X-rays to be absolutely sure which tooth was in distress, and actually found another one that will need work on in the future! My recovery time was very minimal and with no discomfort. Without a doubt I will return to Dr. Figueroa for all future root canals. Dr. Figueroa and her team were INCREDIBLE. I got referred there so didn't know what to expect, but they got me in that week. When I showed up I had my consultation and made an appointment for a week later to get a root canal, but Dr. Figueroa was so accommodating and when someone cancelled less than 10 minutes after I left they did the root canal that day! This practice cares very little about their patients or their front office treatment. It comes down to collecting money even when no services provided. My son was referred to Endodontics Associates of Kennesaw for a root canal. When examined it was determined he did not require a root canal. I was fine with paying the $100 prepay fee + the $140 appointment fee, $240 even thou no work was done. They went on to charge for insurance which was for $335. Then the came back to me a few months later and said insurance did not cover the full amount of the $335, so need need to cover the difference which was another $48. So I paid $288 out of pocket for my son and they performed no dental work. In total between my out of pocket and insurance they charged $440. I would run from this practice read more

I had a client in town from LA who had a dental emergency and Dr. Soto and her team were the only Dentist/Endodontist within the great Atlanta Area willing to help us on a Thursday afternoon into the evening. Myself, my client and my team called nearly 25 area dentist offices and were meet with nothing but "we are closed or we can't help" until we got to Dr. Soto's associate, Stephanie. Stephanie and the team were true life savers. Being in another city and being sick or in pain or in need of medical help is hard enough but Dr. Soto made that process so easy. Santa brought me an infected tooth on Christmas Eve 2019. I was able to communicate with Dr. Figueroa on Christmas day even though she was out of town on vacation. I was able to fill the needed prescriptions for the infection and the pain. Dr. Figueroa is not only a talented endodontist but also a very nice person. I usually do not write these but I think this situation could occur again and people should be aware. I visited this office for the first time March 11,2015. I was referred by my dentist office for a rush surgical procedure, so this was my first and last visit at this office. I had an infection that needed attending to very quickly. The office and people are very nice and clean. I signed a consent form before my procedure stating that they were not liable for any damages that may occur during my procedure. This is very important to know!!!!! Dr. J Jimenez,DMD broke my bridge during my surgical procedure that my insurance did not pay for. I was distraught because I had asked the doctor to be very careful by references my bridge beforehand. She said she would do her best. Well it wasn't her best and I was held liable for a bridge that I had only had for less than 2 years. It is a very expensive replacement. I called them back thinking they would show some type of sincerity to my situation and I was denied of any help. Again, I am not trashing this office but it is very important to know if you have a procedure done here and they damage something else during the process, You are on your own people and held responsible for their damages! I am disappointed. I visited Dr. Soto three times and each time with increasing wait times. Today I waited 1hr 15min and still did not get called in. Needless to say, I left without the root canal. I will find a different doctor that respects their client's time. To give a full accurate review, I will point out that last time I saw Dr. Soto, even though it was an hr. wait, she was great at understanding my problem and identifying a solution that will work for me. I am beyond thankful and extremely grateful that I found Dr. Figueroa's office! She is such an amazing endodontist and woman! Her and her staff took amazing care of me from the first minute I contacted them regarding needing root canal therapy. I was in a lot of pain and needed to be seen as soon as possible. They worked very hard to get me into the office within less than a week! (Thank goodness!!) Upon arriving to the office, which was very easy to find, I was thrilled with the decor when I walked in. The office is very cute, and immaculately decorated. The office is very modern, and made me feel right at home! Upon meeting Dr. Figuerora I was happy to find that she is very personable and extremely accommodating. She immediately put all of my worries at ease upon meeting her. She understood exactly what was going on with my pain and the tooth that I was needing the root canal therapy on. She was able to talk to me in a way that helped me to understand exactly what was occurring in my own mouth. She also reviewed all of my other teeth to ensure that no other issues had been previously overlooked (this put me at ease even more!). She was very down to earth, personable, caring, and professional. She made sure that I was relaxed and felt comfortable before we even started the procedure. She also ensured that my boyfriend, who came along for the appointments, was always comfortable in the room, as well. I truly appreciated that very much! She provided me with a pillow, a blanket, and sunglasses to wear to protect my eyes from the bright dental light. (I felt super fancy and very well taken care of!) As the root canal procedure was taking place I liked that she kept me informed. She let me know what was going on and how long everything was taking/going to take. I never had any questions, or felt lost at any point during my procedure. The procedure went very well and was done very quickly. Afterwards, Dr. Figuerora ensured that I had no questions and felt comfortable with all that had taken place. She provided me with prescriptions for pain, and an antibiotic for the infection I had. She took incredible care of me, and I am truly beyond thankful that I found Endodontics Associates of Cobb!! I've never felt so welcome, so well informed, and SO well taken care of! I had an appt with Dr. Soto to diagnose a molar to see if I needed a root canal. When I introduced myself to the office ladies, they immediately welcomed me. My wait time was 5-10 minutes, the time it took me to fill out the paperwork. The young lady doing the x-rays introduced herself, asked about my tooth issue, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Soto, smiling and vivacious, introduced herself and listened carefully and patiently to my narrative about my tooth pain. She viewed the xrays, gave me a diagnosis, and using the xrays, explained why I needed a root canal. She also prescribed medication for the infection and the pain. I was curious about the practice. She spent time with me talking about her family, her associates, (whom I had met before when they treated my husband) her education, and career which alleviated the tremendous anxiety I felt before my appointment. My husband sat nearby to listen. At the end of my session, he asked Dr. Sotto to look at a molar that was painful. She did not hesitate. She gladly offered to diagnose the tooth. He had a severe abscess for which she prescribed Amoxicillin and Motrin as well. Both our future appointments were soon after, and they were scheduled on the same day at different times. We met her associates who are as beautiful, as animated, and as professional as she is. The attribute that impressed me the most is that Dr. Sotto clearly cares about her patients. Her fees are reasonable as well. And . . . she decorated the entire office herself. It is classy and comfortable. I highly recommend her and her associates for all your Endodontic issues. read more

Dr. Candalaria-Soto is not the person you want if you need a root canal. Her work has been described by other dentists as mediocre and she's not even professional enough to return your phone call personally after complications arise.
