I made an appointment here after my GP suggested I see an endocrinologist for some weight issues…read more I'm in good shape, I exercise 4+ days a week, but was having an issue so I started reading reviews and getting references. My research and the fact that Dr. Stein's office is about 2 miles from my house led me to make an appointment. First, the first available appointment was over four weeks out. I understand busy, but the latest appointment in the day was around 3pm, and the office was not even open 5 days a week - only 3-4 depending on the week. So I made the appointment. They sent me a giant packet of paperwork to fill out, which I never got around to opening because of my busy court schedule. Next comes a client with an emergency on a Friday - I had to drive out of town to stop a foreclosure sale. The 30 hour work-weekend caused me to completely space my appointment. Monday rolls around (the day of the afternoon appointment), and at about noon my phone rings...it is the office manager, calling to get my insurance information. I informed her that I had a client with an emergency, that I had to run out of town, and that I would have to speak with her another day (I was just out for a quick court recess). Even after speaking with her, I didn't remember that I had an appointment. The next thing i heard about it was a bill in the mail on Wednesday, barely two days later! The office wanted $75 for my missed appointment. Really upset, I called the office (obviously closed, normal business hours do not apply) and left a message stating that I didn't even realize I had missed the appointment, that it had been an emergency, and that I didn't appreciate the bill. Instead of a call back, I received a copy of their cancellation policy (that I hadn't signed or been informed of) with writing on it that said "called to confirm, no answering machine" (not true, as previously stated she actually SPOKE with me that day! Also, I have had that # for over 10 years, so please!) and "sorry, you still owe the money!" Of course I called. Of course I was really unhappy at this point. When I calmly informed the office manager that I hadn't signed any agreement or been informed of any cancellation policy, she threatened to take me to court over $75. I ended that conversation stating I was not going to pay it, and to please stop sending me bills. Days pass, and I get another phone call. It is the office calling to tell me that if I make another appointment and keep it, they will waive the $75. After threatening to take me to court??!! No thanks, I would rather not do business with you. I asked the office manager to have Dr. Stein directly, as at this point we had a serious issue and I wanted to speak with the Doctor and business owner directly. The office manager stated she would set up a time when we could talk. I never received another phone call, but started receiving "balance due" letters threatening to take me to collections about every 2 weeks. It finally took me sending what was basically a cease and desist letter to make them stop. I can't speak to Dr. Stein's medical ability or skill, but his office is not at all run in a professional manner.

He basically told her not to speak when she responded to something I said. I felt humiliated for her. And trust me, she's not in any way helpful or friendly, but shame on him for telling her not to say anything and shame on her for letting him do that. She actually apologized. Also, it's super odd to me that they asked for CC information in order to make an appointment. I've never had an office ask for that before. What's also odd is that they didn't even ask for anything to confirm that I was the credit card holder.

The dr was patient, asked a lot of good questions to help build an understanding of what's going on and what I should do to ultimately feel better. As someone who has moved around alot, seen many different endos, and has had hashimotos/thyroiditis longer than not I can confidently tell you to not waste your time. When I was finally able to schedule they booked me for 8 months out. As someone with thyroid nodules this should have been the first red flag. Secondly the bloodwork required prior to the appointment was a simple TSH any educated Endo knows that a TSH on someone who is medicated isn't going to tell you crap! After the long awaited appointment to be seen I make the trek, over an hour drive by the way, and was told they never verified my insurance. For some ungodly reason this took registration 30 minutes to complete and by the time they were done I was told that weisler would not see me and I needed to reschedule- regardless of her opening in 30 minutes and regardless that it was her staff that screwed up , and that I waited 8 months for this appointment, and that my labs were clearly off and I needed to be seen. I could go on and on. I would never trust her with my care and urge everyone to stay away! So careless!

In short: this program did not work for me, despite a full year of commitment and trust in the process. I'm a very active man in my 30s, and I was looking for a safe and effective boost--something in the realm of TRT-like results without going the traditional route. Unfortunately, Vitality RX did not deliver. 1. Misleading Progress & Poor Communication After six months, I was told my testosterone levels had improved based on their internal testing. However, I felt no noticeable difference--no changes in energy, recovery, strength, or mood. When I voiced my concerns, I was met with generic reassurances to "stay the course." The follow-up calls were short, rushed, and didn't leave any room for meaningful discussion. After a year, I saw an independent physician and discovered that my actual hormone levels didn't reflect the improvements I had been told about. 2. Repeated Errors & Lack of Accountability Throughout the year, I dealt with multiple shipping and prescription errors. For the price I was paying, I expected professionalism and consistency. Instead, I often received the wrong items, and the company would simply blame the pharmacy. That's unacceptable--Vitality RX is who I was paying, and I expected them to take responsibility. 3. Lack of Real-World Results Before signing up, I noticed something odd: there were no authentic user reviews or transformation videos on YouTube, TikTok, or anywhere else. That should have been a red flag. Now I understand why. In my opinion, this program is marketed as a convenient alternative to TRT, but based on my experience, it simply does not deliver results. If I could go back, I wouldn't have signed up. I hope this helps someone else make a more informed choice.

Reviews are one thing, but cold hard data doesn't lie. My 2-month follow up bloodwork showed my Total T level increased from 358 to 966 (+270%) and my Free T level increased from 8.0 to 22.1 (+276%) What's even more amazing is that, if you're in the LA area, they actually dispatch a nurse to you to draw your blood. I live in SF, but I was able to have my blood drawn at a hotel and at my friend's house. Talk about convenient!

They're just trying to act like they care to save face. Had an incredibly frustrating experience with Dr Dastas office. They're so hard to get a hold of and after two weeks of waiting and attempting to contact them after my appointment I found out they ran the WRONG TEST. And when I told them it was wrong they insisted it wasn't and that it was "the same thing" as what I requested- I knew that was NOT the case but decided to verify by googling it and a SIMPLE GOOGLE SEARCH proved them WRONG! A complete waste of time and money! Impossible to get ahold of and incredibly incompetent staff. I'll definitely be disputing ANY charge they attempt with my insurance and will be reporting them to my insurance and whatever other entity I can because this is NOT acceptable! Honestly if they had just been more responsive early on I wouldn't be this riled up but since they kept me waiting for TWO WEEKS and I was unable to get ahold of them I'm so riled up. I'll be doing my research (something they're clearly unable to do) and reporting them to my insurance by filing a grievance and reporting them to whoever else I can. LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS! I wish I did but I didn't and am now paying the price!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Oh and while I'm at it, the MA had LONG nails and wasn't wearing gloves which I'm pretty sure goes against CDC guidelines?! How gross! Such a risk to patient health! Moreover when I was in the office undressed for my test and on the bed the Dr had ZERO regard for my privacy and just opened the door wide open without any respect to me as a patient and in a vulnerable position. I was shocked by that as other doctors are always so careful when there's an undressed patient and they're opening and closing the door meanwhile Dr Dasta just opens it wide open as though it's no big deal even though there were people (including men) in the hallway! Was initially willing to overlook the long nails of the MA and this lack of respect by the DR but after the terrible experience with them I'm no longer willing to overlook this.
