Everyone from the front staff, Dental Hygienist, and Dr. Mashtoub was amazing! They explained the process, procedure, and even payments, they are super willing to work with you. During the procedure: Dr. Mashtoub took great care to make sure I was aware of everything that he was doing and was always checking in with me regarding pain or any discomfort. Hands down one the best experiences I've ever had in a specialists office! My daughter is not a big fan of going to the dentist or any other health care specialists for that matter. Dr Mashtoub put our daughter at complete ease, and walked her through every step of the procedure just the way you would expect if you where an adult. Our daughter was having a root canal and did not complain even once, the fact that even tonight after the numbness has worn off she still has no pain or discomfort just shows how light handed and good of a dentist he is. I was referred by my dentist to have Endo do my root canal. I hadn't been to a dentist in 10 years, so to say I was nervous is an understatement. The whole clinic was great. The atmosphere was welcoming and calming. The dentist was very kind. He helped me understand the process and what I needed, and wasn't pushy at all. I ended up getting the root canal that day. It took about an hour, the attention to detail was great. Dental work is not fun, but I was very thankful that I had a pleasant experience! You can stop looking for an Endodontist right here. Dr. Ferras Mashtoub is the kindest, nicest, most gentle Endodontist there is. He just finished the last of my six (yeah - six) root canals and I can say that he and his staff are the most professional, kind, caring, responsive people I have ever met. I was in tremendous pain when I first went to see Dr. Mashtoub and I have a huge fear of dentists (from years of not-so-good and not-so-nice dentists). He and his staff (his Assistant is so nice and kind, too) put me immediately at ease and cared so very much about how I was feeling. Dr. Mashtoub explained all about the procedures and let me (with his guidance, of course) choose which teeth to do first and in what order, etc. He has communicated with my "regular" dentist and has sent over all of the images and charts, so when I have non-endodontic work I am all set and my dentist knows what is going on, what has been done and what needs to be done. He respects my time (never have to wait) and my feelings (my great fear of dental work) and Ilda (his Receptionist-front office wonder) gave me a full break-down of the costs BEFORE anything happened. One of the most common fears is being told you need a root canal. I was expecting this long, painful, uncomfortable process in my mind and worked myself up. Trips to the dentist can be a little tough - especially if your in pain and a root canal is required. I am someone with major dental issues and was referred here by my regular dentist office. I was in so much pain we were having problems distinguishing exactly what tooth was causing the issues. After my first visit here I was giving a recommendation that I was just not comfortable fallowing through even though the pain level was pretty high. Instead of insisting on the procedure or giving me a hard time the doctor listened to me and we decided to give it the weekend with some antibiotics. By Monday I was in much better shape to determine which tooth needed to be worked on. They got me in and walked me through every step including what to expect since I had such a large infection in my tooth and on top of that the tooth already had a crown in place. A very long story short the staff was amazing, the environment is clean and welcoming with new equipment, they answered my panicked phone calls quickly and checked up on me to make sure I was doing alright.
