Kind, caring, gentle, compassionate and comforting, thorough and professional- I can go on and on about Dr. Cohen. I needed a root canal, and Dr. Cohen took the absolute best care of me. She held my hand through the whole process and made sure I was doing ok. My dentist was very impressed with what a great job she did after seeing my X-rays. She is truly so knowledgeable, experienced and passionate about what she does, I can't imagine being in better hands than her. Beautiful, clean and organized office with a nice view to enjoy while I was in the chair. I appreciated that she had a bathroom in her office just for her patients- no walking down the hall struggling with a key. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen!
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dr. Mahrouz cohen specialist in root canal therapy. She did my root canal, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. I had no pain whatsoever during and even after the procedure. She was professional, gentle, patient, and took the time to explain everything throughout the procedure, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. I had done root canal before but this one was truly amazing. I truly appreciate her attention to detail and the excellent work she did. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring dentist!
Dr Cohen is awesome. This was the best root canal experience In have ever had. I felt calm, not in pain when she was working on my tooth, and valued. She was patient, friendly, and handled everything with care. The office staff was professional and fantastic as well. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen. You will not be disappointed.
I was referred to Dr. Cohen for a root canal procedure and I was genuinely impressed by her and her team. Her office did a great job accommodating to my schedule and communicating about upcoming visits and planning. Dr. Cohen did an incredible job with the diagnosis and took the time to thoroughly go over the treatment plan, the potential risks, and the follow up work required. She was very understanding and compassionate. Despite it being a complex procedure, I was comfortable throughout and was amazed by Dr. Cohen's expertise and thoroughness. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family. P.S. Her office is at a great location with a great view, so you might catch a great sunset if you're visiting late.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I came to Dr. Cohen as an emergency patient with a lot of anxiety and in excruciating pain, and she and her team were absolutely incredible. She made the entire experience painless, smooth, and comfortable. She explained everything clearly, checked on me constantly, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. Her staff is just as wonderful; warm, welcoming, and very supportive from start to finish. I walked out feeling so relieved and genuinely cared for. She even went as far as to snap a photo of the beautiful sunset during my procedure so that I could enjoy the view as well. I can't recommend Dr. Cohen and her team enough! Thank you so much for taking care of me as well as you did, I am forever grateful!
I highly recommend Dr. Mahrouz Cohen for any root canal treatments. Dr. Cohen explained everything throughly. Office and the doctor are professional. Office is beautiful and comfortable. Dr. Cohen 's staff are friendly and knowledgeable. She made me very comfortable through your the root canal procedure. The root canal therapy was pain free. My root canal was extremely calcified. She spent hours looking for the canals. She saved me from surgical procedures and further complications. She saved my teeth. If I need any other root canal I will definitely go back to her.
I was very happy for many reasons to be referred to Dr. Cohen for a root canal procedure and even more pleased with the care she provided. Unfortunately, I've had my share of root canals and by far Dr. Cohen's procedure was the most easy going and pain-free. Besides providing a very thorough and high level of care, she saved me a great deal of money. I was maxed on my dental coverage and Dr. Cohen still honored the insurance cost, saving me a huge out of pocket expense. Additionally, she was able to save the existing crown on the root canal tooth, which was a fantastically huge savings. So, if you need a root canal handled, please give Dr. Cohen and her wonderful team a call. Plus, her two patient rooms have a beautiful view overlooking the Santa Monica mountains, which made the entire experience even more relaxing and dare I say, enjoyable!
I recently had my first root canal with Dr. Mahrouz Cohen, and like many people, I had only heard horror stories about the procedure. Naturally, I was extremely nervous going in. However, Dr. Cohen and her team immediately put me at ease. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, welcoming, and reassuring, making me feel comfortable and calm. To my surprise, the entire experience was essentially painless. Aside from a quick pinch or two from the Novocain, I felt nothing during the procedure. Even once the anesthesia wore off, I had no real pain--just some minor achiness from keeping my mouth open, which quickly faded. Today, the day after, I can honestly say I'm pain-free. Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe Dr. Cohen is just that good--I truly believe it's the latter. Dr. Cohen is gentle, caring, and takes her time to do the job right. If you're feeling uneasy or nervous about a root canal, I cannot recommend Dr. Cohen enough. She made what I thought would be a miserable experience into something completely manageable. While I hope I never need another root canal, if I do, I'll have complete peace of mind knowing I'm in the best possible hands.

The office is easy to find with parking at the building. Inside you will find a beautiful view of the hills while seated for your appointment. A really calming touch if you're feeling stressed about dental work. Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The whole process felt smooth and professional from start to finish. Dr. Cohen herself was fantastic--she took the time to explain exactly what was happening during the procedure and made sure I understood the final steps as well. Despite needing a root canal, the entire experience was surprisingly comfortable. They managed the pain and discomfort incredibly well, and the quality of the work done was as good as it gets. Highly recommend this office and Dr. Cohen. If you ever find yourself in need of urgent dental care, or even just a great dentist, you're in excellent hands here.
I recommend Dr.Mahrouz Cohen, Board certied endodontist, specializing in Root Canal Therapy and surgeries. She saved me from getting surgery on my tooth. My general dentist could not find my calcified canal. Dr.Cohen gave me amplified time and found the canal. The Root canal therapy was pain free. She did it without local anesthesia. Front office was very professional. They respond very quickly with immediate appointment. The office is very clean, beautiful view Dr.Cohen is very gentle and caring. I fell in love with her patient and chair side manner. If I need any Root canal therapy I will see her and no one else

I had a root canal retreatment with Dr. Mahrouz Cohen, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. I came to her in so much pain and swelling, and she was an absolute lifesaver. Dr. Cohen is incredibly gentle, caring, professional, and excellent at what she does. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire treatment. Her office is also extremely clean and beautiful, and the treatment room has an amazing view, which made the whole experience very relaxing. What impressed me most was the level of care I received even after my treatment. Her staff is wonderful and genuinely caring. They called me every few days to check on how I was feeling. Dr. Cohen even had to leave town for a convention, but she still took the time to check on me and left her office specific instructions regarding my care while she was away. She did an excellent job with a difficult retreatment, and I am extremely grateful to her and her entire team. Dr. Cohen is a very good endodontist and her staff member, Carla, is also great! They are both very friendly and professional. The office is nice and clean. I was referred to Dr. Cohen because at my 6-month cleaning I brought up there was a bump on my gums. After x-rays, my dentist thought there was an infection in my root canal that needed to be retreated. Dr. Cohen looked at the x-rays and said it may be a different issue. She offered to do a diagnostic procedure that would cut through my gums and expose the roots to see what the issue really was and somewhat clear out whatever she found. So, I was vey nervous about that but we did it and found there was a crack on one of the roots of my tooth. That crack ended up getting infected and starting rotting out that area. Dr. Cohen then ended up removing parts of the roots of that tooth, clearing out decayed bone, and other rotten tissue. This 30 minute procedure jumped to a 2 hour procedure because DR. COHEN REALLY WANTED TO HELP ME save my tooth. It was a little painful after the fact and I had antibiotics to take to make sure the infection was eradicated. I was not happy at all with how my gums looked immediately after and I had felt like she didn't explain that would happen. I found out later it was a side effect of her doing what she did to help me save my tooth. It looks MUCH MUCH better now. She added a little collagen into that area to encourage the gums to grow back. Over 6 months later, it is all healed up. No issues. The bone grew back and filled in. My gums are healthy and strong. Luckily, this is the very last tooth so no one will see those gums and they look better. In the pictures, are the before and after, a picture in the healing process, Dr. Cohen, and the office. I would recommend her 10 out 10! She can be trusted with your oral health. Not to mention, she is VERY AFFORDABLE! Please stop by to see her. read more

Dr. Mahrouz Cohen and her team are amazing to work with! Immediately felt welcomed when entering the office. Everyone was genuine and easy to talk to. They answered any and all the questions I had, gave me a clear breakdown of what was going to be done, helped me understand my current state, gave me lots of recommendations/ advise for post-op and clearly broke down costs. I was very surprised to experience no pain during this procedure. And when I did experience any discomfort they acted quickly to make sure I was comfortable. One root canal down , one more to go and I'm happy that I'll be returning back here to have the procedure done. Thank you ladies! read more

I love Dr. Mahrouz Cohen - this woman saved me! After I had a root canal done by a previous dentist, I was still in tremendous pain and I didn't know why. I ended up having to go to her and get it redone because of a hidden mysterious fourth canal that sometimes occurs. And on top of that, mine was in a very unusual place. Making it even more difficult to access. I'm posting a X-ray picture of my tooth to show what she managed to find and how elusive these fourth canals can be... The long and the short of it is this could've gone on for God knows how long. I've never written a review, but I'm inspired to do this because of my positive experience with Dr. Cohen. Do yourself a favor, when you need a root canal, and go to Dr. Cohen. Save yourself the pain and additional cost of having to get it redone. Your future self will thank your present person. Dr. Mahrouz Cohen is fantastic. First root canal for me and had no issues. Feel asleep several times; at least 4 times. Pain free. All my symptoms and issues with sensitivity went away. Carla and Lily were great. The eye made the experience very relaxing. She explained in detail the procedure before and during. Definitely will recommend her to everyone who needs a root canal. read more

I went to Dr. Cohen after reading the many positive reviews and seeing her outstanding preparation: trained at USC and Board Certified. She is a superior endodontist - patient, thorough, skilled and professional. I needed root canals on some particularly difficult teeth and am very grateful for the effective and pain free treatment I received. I believe Dr. Cohen's long experience in practice is the reason she was able to take care of me so well. I'd also like to pass on that her front office staff are especially good. Friendly, helpful and efficient, she answers every call promptly and every question accurately. I was able to find out exact costs and insurance coverage right away. Also, when it was difficult to schedule an appointment, the office contacted me within 24 hours to get me in when there was an opening. I am glad to recommend this practice without reservation. read more

I was referred to Dr. Cohen by my Genal Dentist Dr. Marshall. The vibe when you walk in is very welcoming and friendly. I was a bit concerned but the Dr talked me through the proceeds to retreat my root canal gone bad. Her assistant Carla was like sunshine. There was not much pain. I felt she was so easy going I forgot about the service. I was totally distracted by the good conversation between the doctor and assistant. Before you know it the procedure was over. The after one worries. When the medication wore off there was no pain just a bit of tenderness which is to be expected. I hands down will refer everyone to her. She is caring, kind and very professional. My tooth is better off now. She is awesome. read more

At Dr. Cohen office I had an amazing experience. The staff was so friendly and professional. I came in with extreme tooth pain and I needed a root canal. I couldn't drink any cold drinks. It was so painful that I needed help immediately. Dr. Cohen made the necessary adjustments to see me as soon as possible. The procedure was painless and it was completed to my satisfaction. After procedure my pain went away with minimum medication. Now I'm able to enjoy cold and hot drinks. I feel way better than before. I recommend anyone with root canal issues to see Dr.Cohen read more

Dr cohen and her staff are the best!! I had to get a root canal done, and was referred to this office. From the moment I scheduled the appointment they were nice and very professional. They let me know about the parking situation in advance, which was very helpful. On the day of my appointment, I was nervous and skeptical because of all the painful things I had been hearing about getting a root canal done. But all that doubt went away very quickly. From the beautiful view in the room, to the playlist playing in the background, I was put at ease. Then dr cohen began the procedure. And I felt no pain or discomfort as she was working. Went so smooth I almost fell asleep as she was fixing my tooth lol once the procedure was done. The pain was gone instantly. And I haven't felt any pain ever since. I'm so glad and thankful that I came to her. Definitely an 11 out of 10 experience. I now feel no pain at all and i would definitely recommend dr cohen to anyone needing her services. read more

I came to Dr. Cohen for a root canal that my regular Endodontist refused to treat because the case was very irregular and complicated. She was very kind and explained everything that she was going to do, even drawing me a diagram. She saved my tooth that I have had issues with for years, and she colored it back to match my other teeth too (it has turned gray). Thank you Dr. Cohen!! read more

I recommend Doctor Mahrouz Cohen to anyone she was Gentle and helpful so much. My experience with Endodontist Doctor Mahrouz Cohen was so great. The doctor and staff was so welcoming and make me feel at home. Everyone is so nice and wonderful. I was a bit nervous about getting a root Canal but the doctor was ensuring that I will be okay and everything will go well. Which it did go well. I felt comfortable and I had no problems with the procedure. Very gentle, pain-free procedure . She knows how to do the infections which is pain-free . I did not feel the infections and that the first time that had happened . Very impressed with the pain-free injection. After the procedure the doctor Mahrouz Cohen mentioned everything what to expect and help me go through it. That was very helpful. read more

I was involved in a cycling race accident years ago that damaged the nerve of my three front teeth. I've been to many dentists who were pushing for Crown which I refused for years. During one of my dentist visit one of the staff recommended Dr. Cohen. Now my front 3 teeth are white. She has the passion and pride to make it perfect! I wish I knew about her years ago when my teeth started to discolor. I am thankful for meeting Dr. Cohen and recommend her in a heartbeat! Thank you! read more

I had a 3 root canal (special case) Dr. cohen she took care of this and through the process she was kind, gentle showed compassion ( I had gone through a difficult traumatizing experience with dental work) so the fact the she took her time and made sure I was okay it made the root canal treatment less scary. I really appreciate everything she's done for me and I will forever be grateful to have met and been treated with her. Karla at the front desk she's also kind and attentive. Dr cohen also did a surgery to get rid of an infection and even though I was scared she always made sure to be mindful of how I was feeling and made sure I didn't feel pain as much as she possible could which again I really appreciate it. I would recommend seeing her if you need a specialist for a root canal or any dental work related to her specialty. read more
