Greeted as soon as I came in, beautiful ambiance, explained what to expect, and this was unlike any massage I've ever received before. Thank you to Val and her amazing team!!

As…read morea person who spends a lot of time helping others I aways put my self love treatments in the back burner, so this was an exceptional treat. It is located right off of Michigan ave. There is public street parking available but I ended up using SpotHero as I didn't want to risk running around to find a spot. There is also valet available in the area if you're interested. I arrived at the office and everyone was so welcoming and kind. I had the privilege of working with Dania as my lymphatic drainage massage therapist and she was an absolute delight. I explained to her I've only had typical swedish and Thai massages before and she gave me a thorough explanation as to the difference and what to expect during the experience. She offered to explain the techniques during the massage if I like or if I would prefer a silent session. I love the option as I enjoy learning things related to health. Prior to the lymphatic drainage massage I used the add-on for the Cocoon Wellness Sauna Pod to prepare and relax my body and mind. It looks exactly like a space pod from a science fiction movie, but ever so calming. Laying in the pod you're exposed to infrared dry sauna heat, it looked like red light therapy, vibration massage and Himalayan salt therapy and aroma therapy. Relaxing in here put me in a calming state of zen that I'm usually unable to achieve by meditating. This was an eye opening luxurious experience as my body felt lighter as the lymph and fluid were pushed away from the area and towards my core/kidneys. I've also gained my bodily awareness as I tend to tense up my abdomen subconsciously which inhibits my ability to relax my mind, body, and vessels. This is truly a luxury experience that is experience feel special from start to finish.

She is so incredibly talented…read more I worked with Rosanna at La Brasileira Massage and once you place the order it has to be approved by them. Now, I DO have severe cat allergies and found out Lupe has no pets, if it matters. Shannon, one of their massage therapists, has two. So, I could not have been around her due to my cat dander issue. The atmosphere is calming and clean. You must take off your shoes in their front area. I did and they offered me slippers but I just walked in my clean socks on a clean floor. All good. The room was wonderful. My lungs are a bit sensitive to smells, but I wore a mask and I was fine. I got the 70min lymph massage and it walked out of there lighter than I have been in a long time. My lymph systems seems to not like me very much, frustrating. She had my system flowing and going! Lupe said it normally takes her 2 passes but she had to do 3 or more to get my stuck lymphs going. She is a like the RotoRooter of the lymphatic system. LOL We talked about Lipedema and the Lymph system. She is really smart with the Lymph system. Afterwards she brought me followup care instructions, a cup of water, and a tea bag for my lymph to use tomorrow morning. The massage itself was exactly what I had hoped for and maybe a bit more. Did I have a sudden six-pack like other places show on social ads? Ummm, no. And nore did I expect it. Did my legs feel lighter, incredibly so. I will book one for next month too, once my schedule starts to form. They were NOT pushy about it either. One different place I went to did the hard sell on packages and they still text me a year later. Annoying. Thank you, Lupe! You are truly talented. See you soon.

I got checked in by the receptionist and she instructed I change into the sandals and get settled as I waited. A few minutes later the receptionist grabs her belongings and tells me Mario is finishing by up and will be out to grab me shortly- she then proceeded to leave for the day. I sat in the empty lobby until 5:15p when I got up and decided to ring the front doorbell. Out came Mario the massage therapist and he told me I wasn't on his schedule. I even showed him the email with the confirmation. He called the manager and they said they'd be able to offer me a 45 min massage! I told them it was already too late and I didn't want to over pay for a shorter service. I asked for a refund and they said the charge will be released. No making it right.... No receipt. So frustrating for someone that just got off a 12 hour shift at their very physical job. Time is very valuable.

I only basically had half a treatment, and it made a great impact with much less pain. I definitely need to make another appointment soon. I had never done a spray tan before, & Amanda made it easy - from scheduling, to preparing, to the actual event. It turned out really beautiful, looked natural, & lasted for my out-of-town event. Additionally, Amanda does a lot of body work & noticed during my spray tan that I was having shoulder issues. My right shoulder had been bothering me for some time, & she was the first to tell me without even touching my shoulder that I had rotator cuff issues. After seeing an ortho & getting an MRI, it turns out she was exactly right. I haven't seen her for a massage, but I definitely need to give her a try.

I found Amanda by typing in "spray tan oak park" and feel so lucky that google sent me her way. For starters, scheduling was an absolute breeze. I was wary of texting the number but got a prompt response. It was beyond thoughtful of her to ask why and when I needed to be event ready and she advised the best timing to be sure I'd look and feel my best. Mind you - I had a less than 48 hour window before I had to be good to go. In my experience, it can be rare for someone with the setup and professionalism of Amanda to be able to book on such short notice, let alone for a Friday in the midst of late summer/early fall wedding season. She directed me to her website which clearly lists the standard prep for best results. On arrival, Amanda explained everything that would happen from start to finish then went on to narrate why she was doing what she was doing at each step. She was kind and professional and made me feel very at ease and even finished off with a dusting of homemade powder that smelled fricken DIVINE and ensured I made it back to my car sweat free! While developing, I noted that the formula she used is one of the least smelly I've ever had applied. No small feat considering the beautiful color I got to. I'm lucky to live close by but she travels and I would recommend her to any family member or friend looking to add a little color. Will definitely be a repeat spray tan client with Amanda and very interested to explore the variety of services she offers.
