And there was definitely PLENTY to smell. The store has a huge selection of Arabian perfumes, body oils, cosmetics, bakhoor and other fragrance goodies. If you love Arabian fragrances, there is a LOT here to explore. I especially loved the customized bakhoor experience. That was such a nice touch and probably one of my favorite parts of the visit. My biggest issue was the organization, or lack thereof. There were SO many perfumes, but it wasn't easy to figure out where anything was or how the fragrances were arranged. With such a massive selection, having the perfumes organized by brand, fragrance family, scent profile or even some type of clear system would make the experience so much better. Instead, I found myself feeling pretty overwhelmed trying to navigate everything. That said, the selection is impressive! They had plenty of body oils and Arabian fragrances that caught my attention, and fragrance lovers could absolutely find some gems here. I just wish the shopping experience made it easier to discover them. Would I return? It's often hard to find someone to assist you and even upfront at the checkout they ignore you because they expect you to do self-checkout. I had two large pillows and the bags at self-checkout are small and not one of the three staff members up front paid any attention to the customers checking out because they were way too busy, talking amongst themselves,. I had to go over to them and politely interrupt the chit chat to ask if I could get a larger bag to put my pillows in. While this isn't the end of the world the fact that there's three of them just standing there talking away in their little group and not paying any attention to the customers kind of really sucks lol.

Luckily, another associate, Jake, took the initiative to help me with my return and get me out of there. He was calm and patient and seemed to know what he was doing even though he confessed it was his 4th day on the job. Not to mention my online return gave him a hard time on the POS system. Walking into the store, there were boxes all over the place and ladders and equipment littering a lot of the aisles, so it was almost impossible to move through with a stroller without running into a ladder or boxes. The few staff that were around looked pretty aloof or distracted and overall disinterested in helping you locate anything. Also, for some reason, the bathrooms were locked so I sought out an employee who told me they were having plumbing issues (also not a great look) , so I was sent scurrying out of the store to find the nearest bathroom where my toddler could potty before there was an accident. All of this I could probably overlook if they at least had the type of gem stickers I was looking for, but sadly their selection in the scrapbook selection was pretty weak. It's been years since I last visited a Michaels location but I don't remember the service and overall store quality being so poor. Needless to say, I won't be back.

In any case, despite my longtime patronage of this location, it has really gone downhill in recent years. The selection of t-shirts, candles, and other gift items has expended but the card selection is considerably limited and/or aisles are nearly empty without adequate stock. I've returned and observed the same types of items continuously out of stock over months long periods. The customer service here is also hit or miss depending on the associate. Overall, unless you need a highly specific type of greeting card, you would be better served either ordering from Hallmark online or going to virtually any convenience store as they have many of the same Hallmark cards, even those that are higher end.
