Giving Enchanted Fairies a 1 star is still too high of a rating as they really deserve 0 stars. These people are simply better dressed scam artists who sit behind a Zoom screen. I had my child's photos done in early May, they forgot to call me back until I checked back on them in August. That proved a grave mistake on my end. A smooth talking car salesman type preys on the love you have for your child to get you to buy these $4-5k photo packages. Immediately after I agreed to my package I had a change in my employment situation, lost my job, my insurance, and subsequently my ability to afford my anti-rejection medications needed to keep me alive post transplant. I spoke with someone in customer relations about my situation & they proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do. I asked for them to not start on my photos, and asked to speak with a manager. Some insincere man named Chris with fake empathy stated that "while I really do understand and feel for what you are going through right now, it is our company policy to make no exceptions to our policy for the protection of our customers and artists alike!" How are you protecting me? Have you had a transplant, lost a job, insurance and can't afford the medications that keep you alive by preventing you from going into rejection??? If not? Shut up & save your fake empathy for someone else!!! So this company doesn't care about my life, doesn't care about my daughter who may very well lose her mom, but places photos at a higher value over human life. I could buy several months of my life saving medications for the $4,500 I can't get returned to me because they refuse to discontinue work on my daughter's photos. Those photos are likely to bring her nothing but hostility and rage when she learns that her mom didn't make it because the company behind those pictures insisted in working on those pictures rather than making a medical exception, and giving her mother back the money desperately needed for her to purchase the anti-rejection and other life saving transplant medications. So I ask again, how the hell do you sleep at night Chris? You are taking away a young girl's only parent! This company and the Dallas manager, Chris, are the definition of pure evil! read more

My little one had so much fun on 10/18. Photographer Tay was so great. Not sure how much it will cost us but the experience was priceless. We have a Zoom meeting to look over all the photos taken next week 10/30. Update: Our initial Zoom meeting was canceled and rescheduled for Nov 11th. That's almost two weeks after the first meeting was canceled. I couldn't believe the amount they were charging for a package. I asked if I could get unedited copies of all the pictures taken digitally but of course they said no. Honestly I didn't want to spend more than $100-150 but just one picture which they edit was a mortgage payment. Ridiculously pricey. Although the experience was nice, I could never see myself paying thousands of dollars for just one edited picture. Just ridiculous. read more

They took a $50 deposit for the photoshoot they said they are going to refund, but they are withholding the deposit until I go through a sales pitch meeting. If I miss or reschedule the sales pitch meeting I will be charged an additional $99 "deposit" on top of the $50 that I would be forced to use to buy things from the company. They don't exactly hide this (it is in the fine print) but it would be very easy to end up owing this company a lot of money. read more

Okay, I hate to say this but Angie H. is spot on with her review. I have gone back and forth with their expensive, luxury art department dozens of times in the past two months. They have one dragon, one size, one position in the same exact spot in every page. I asked them to move it in eye's view and this concept is way too difficult for their art department which is why they state their packages are a minimum of $3k. We walked in, the photographer gave us the rundown...take as many pictures as I wanted, then changed my daughter into the dress (color of her choice), took more pictures on my phone, then went into the studio where the photographer took more pictures. Leave the studio/go back to the main lobby area and took more pictures. My daughter loves the experience and is definitely recommend them Afterwards, they have you schedule a Zoom consultation to review the pictures and chose options. They have weekend appointments available; I had no trouble getting the exact appointment time that fit my schedule. The photos were lovely. I was eventually able to whittle down the selection from 35 images to 11. Then we discussed the packages and omgawddddd at the prices. I've done boudoir photo shoots a couple times, gotten professional headshots, I've also annual pictures of my daughter, etc. but this place takes the cake when it comes to price. They're by far the most expensive. This is going to be long and very detailed but that is in part because they don't give the average person a true understanding of what they are walking into before they sign up for this. I worked for a portrait studio for a few years so I had a pretty good idea of their business model. Now that we have gone through the whole process I want to share so others can make a solid, informed decision. Round Rock Location The initial sign up: You pay $25 to sign up. They donate this $25 to their charity and in return you get the session and 1 8x10. The session: It is very magical. The studio is decorated beautifully, they have a catalog of dresses in each kiddos sizes to choose from. There is a hair station in the dressing room in case you need any last minute goodies. They provide all accessories including the flower crown and wings. No worries if your child doesn't like the wings, they can add them in digitally later. There is a mirror in the session space for the kiddos to look at themselves. The set is gorgeous and there are many props for them to interact with during the session. It is magical for the kids and very efficient and well run for the family as a whole. After the session: Before you leave your session you will schedule a zoom call for one week later. This zoom call is to view your childs images, select your 8x10, and decide on any further purchases. They ask that you share the link with anyone who will be purchasing images. This is a two fold thing. They do not keep/allow purchases at a later date. They also want as many people on the call to help sell more. So take that for what it's worth. The zoom call: You will be on this call with a company representative. They will show you a beautiful slideshow of your childs images set to music. From there they will show you their product guide. The packages range from $2500-$7500. So know upfront that if you can't afford that sort of cash all in one drop you have two options: take the 8x10 and run or apply for payment. Here is the part they really aren't up front with you on. The payment plan is not through Enchanted Fairies. They run your credit and it is basically opening a line of credit to pay for your order. You don't make your first payment until 30 days after your order arrives and the first 12 months are interest free. So if you really want to invest in the beautiful portraits and don't mind an open line of credit to pay off in a year, this is a completely viable option for you. Once order is placed: It takes 4-6 weeks to receive. They send a link to your finished images as proofs to look over, make any changes, and send back. Once you approve your images they go into final production. Any digitals are emailed for download with a print release. The physical products came about a week later. The wall portrait is sturdy and well made and the personalized book is very sturdy and beautiful. So these are definitely high quality products. The 8x10 print is a mounted print as well, not just paper. Communication: Because they handle everything remotely it was hard to know who to contact for what. It was hard to find a phone number as it wasn't included in any of the emailed correspondence and the emails all come from different people. So that was a little on the confusing side. However, they are quick to respond to emails and get you in touch with the person that you need to speak with. Final thoughts: They definitely border on shady tactics to get you through the door. The experience and product are magical so I'm not sure they really need to be THAT shady or mark up their product THAT much but it's what they do and I hope this review will be helpful to others make an informed decision. I enjoyed our experience, will pay off my daughters portraits in a year, and consider it a one and done thing. She still talks about it and loves looking at her book, so I consider it worth it. But if you don't have this sort of money to drop you could probably find a fairytale themed mini session with a local photographer and still get a great set of images for posterity read more

The shoot went great. The disaster started afterward. This has been by far the most unprofessional company I can remember dealing with. After the photoshoot you are scheduled for a zoom call to review the photos. Once you set that appointment you get reminders that if you cancel it you will forfeit any offers. The morning of our zoom call just an hour before its scheduled time, they canceled without explanation. Now they expect us to wait another 4-6 weeks to be rescheduled with no guarantees that they won't do this again. I would not recommend. I enjoyed this photo session I booked through Instagram. We went in OKC. I have yet to have the zoom session where I am sure I will be sold on things. Will share my experience. I have a 6 month old daughter and the man who helped me was very patient with us. There was many dresses to pick sizes from, and they make them fit to you. A strapless bra probably would have been best, but I just moved the straps in the dress. My daughter put on the cute purple dress and it fit, although as a baby she didn't like it that much! We were able to get pictures of her cute face, luckily not crying! The dress was so pretty. I'm excited to see the pictures. I think the value was appropriate for what I paid and I believe the enchanted fairies is a holiday donation promo that's running. I'm very happy for the opportunity to have these adorable photos with my daughter as a young mom myself. I would say if I could make the experience even better, maybe offering music the babies or children like could help them feel more comfortable. My baby is obsessed with baby shark, I know many babies just have a song their obsessed with and helps them relax. So maybe having that as an option can help! We arrived early as instructed, however the studio was locked until a few minutes after our scheduled appointment. A little disappointed that there was only one costume choice for the boys, a Knight. Maybe in the near future they'll have Robin Hood, Peter Pan, or maybe even a King costume for the male clients. Or give the customer the option to bring their own costumes. I wanted the boys different personalities to be captured in the photos and I wanted my fairy essence to be captured also, unfortunately wasn't afforded that opportunity. It's the sticker shock afterwards when you find out the pricing!!!! $200 per 8x10 print, $500 per digital print, $3000-15000 packages they're going to try and sell me on? No thank you! I'll take my free 8x10 and be heartbroken that I can't afford they money grabbing prices for any of the sure to be amazing remaining pictures! Oh and there was no price list up front to prepare me for this. I had to search myself on hundreds of reviews I should have seen sooner to know how I wasted my time. My kids will be heartbroken when they find out that after all those poses and being made to feel like royalty, they'll learn we're nothing but paupers because we can't afford what they call value! Photographer: Nadia was wonderful! She was so patient and engaged easily with my children, (who can be a circus!) She was amazing at getting all three kids to look at her and smile, and the treasure box for when they turned back into humans (put their own clothes on) afterwords was genius. Nadia even took extra photo's of my 5-year-old when he decided he wanted wings, so he needed to be a fairy and not a prince, aiding us with a quick costume change. I wish she were closer to Norfolk! Location: The studio was clean, easy to get to, easy to park at. The set and props were fun. Costumes: provide wings for the boys!! There are male magical fairies too! ‍ my five year old was very upset that he couldn't wear wings with the provided Knight/Prince costume. He was also disappointed by the "costume"; drab Brown pants and a beige shirt said 'serf' far more than 'magical fairy/Prince/Knight.' watch any fairy(tale) movie for inspiration...the men wear shiny, colorful clothing too. Add a fancy cape that twirls when they spin!! He was thrilled when he was offered a dress to don the wings but come on, there is no reason to not have wings for everyone Also, the girls were a little disappointed by the selection. They had one style of dress only, in three colors. They viewed a lot of social media content for EF before we went, and saw dresses they liked and hoped to get to wear. My 10-year-old doesn't really like dresses - she would have loved a cute fairy outfit that was more down-to-earth. Cost: The cost for the session was very reasonable. It's a trap. I haven't seen the photos yet (it takes two weeks for editing and magical touches). I've read enough to know I'm going to be disappointed that I can't afford their packages. I wish I could write two reviews- one for the photographer/experience, and one for the "enchanted fairies" racket. $250 for one photo, $500 for one digital photo....you made my kids feel like Kings and Queens, and leave me feeling like a pauper. read more

From there she took my daughter and let her explore the studio a bit! My daughter already had her dress picked out so it was hanging in a little changing area! After changing her into her dress she let me take some pictures of her before going into the photography room! Despite my daughter not napping, she did very well and listened good (for the most part)! Brandy was so kind and patient with my daughter! Disclaimer: this is a long review. I booked a session for my daughter's 5th birthday and it was honestly great. The photographer was nice and the overall look did feel very magical which lead my daughter to having a great time. That being said my experience from there has been unfortunately downhill. Something important to note is that Enchanted fairies is amazing in the fact they offer a complimentary photo with their sessions after paying the original fee. Unfortunately I am not in a financial position to be able to afford their photo prices so I was so excited that I would get the complimentary photo and have something to remember this momentous birthday. With this in mind after the session was done I booked a zoom meeting with them so I could review the photos and choose one to keep. My first meeting I logged onto the meeting and waited for someone from Enchanted Faries to join me. About three minutes in I received a text saying I was not in the meeting to which I responded saying yes I was. I stayed in that meeting 20 mins waiting on someone to join. They did not respond till a half hour later saying there were "technical difficulties". I found this explanation to be lacking given it should not have taken half an hour into a meeting to let me know of this issue. Still I rescheduled with them for a later date hoping it was just a fluke. My second meeting was a similar experience. I joined the set meeting which they had emailed me the link to and proceeded to wait 15 mins but yet again nobody showed up. Given the numerous emails and texts I got reminding me of the meeting I know I showed up at the correct time and to the correct zoom meeting. Yet again it took half an hour for someone to reach out and say anything at all and that someone was not even the person I was scheduled to meet. Although they did apologise the experience was ruined to the point I did not even bother scheduling a 3rd meeting and therefore didn't get to see all my child's photos. I did end up telling them to just choose a photo and send it to me so at least I will be getting a complimentary photo as originally promised. Overall while the actual photo experience was great and I would recommend that to anyone everything else was terrible and I am unfortunately very disappointed. I really hope this is not a standard experience because the idea behind enchanted fairies is really special and I wanted to love it. read more
