I felt like I was at a broadway show! All the girls did amazing! They offer camp in summer and my daughter went for a week. She is only 4 and really liked it. She never once cried or felt uncomfortable. I highly recommend this studio. They also have a second location that we've attended and also loved. The BELLA location is very small and not a lot of room for the parents to sit and watch. The Ellsworth location has lots of space for people waiting and multiple rooms. Now the both take multiple classes and love every minute. Their baby brother loves it here too and always tries to sneak in class and the teachers are so sweet with him. They came to dance and fell in love with it but they also found a family here. All the older girls really take care of and love on them and it has been so special for me to watch and get to be a little part of. Maria was the first teacher we had and we all totally fell in love with her! She is an angel. I honestly was nervous to have my kids take classes with any of the other teachers because we loved her so much but as they started taking more classes and getting to know the other teachers we realized they're all just as amazing! All of the teachers really take the time to get to know each of the kids and make them feel loved and special while still teaching them and helping them grow and raise their own personal bar. They also have killer recitals and the most fun costumes! Every other recital is scripted and all the kids have an opportunity to audition for a speaking role and/or special dance. It is so fun and the kids have the best time with it! My kids confidence has grown so much in the last year here. I'm so grateful for this studio and the special part they play in our family's life.

The studio is rather small so it's not a place where serious dance parties can be held. They have field trips so the size of the dance floor might not be a problem for many students. Instructors go on the field trips, which is kind of cool because students can be nurtured as they progress in their dance skills. The experience level of the dancers is low so DD isn't a very good bet for dancers who want to social dance beyond newbie level. Probably most people that start at DD quickly move on to other studios and venues once they get the basics down. The lessons are expensive compared to many studios who have comparable instructors.

The environment is positive and feels "like a family". The teachers have been a blessing and have become great mentors for my girls. Dancers used the dining room as their dressing area, with no privacy afforded to them (BTW is it sanitary to have dancers' personal items all over commercial eating areas?). Dads were allowed in the changing areas, too. The dancers were required to haul their rented costumes on foot to and from the studio, next to the busy McKellips road with no supervision from the studio. There was nowhere to park, and we still had to pay our recital fees and admission fees to sit out in the elements. My kid was freezing cold. I paid for a professional recital. I had reasonable expectations that were not met. Where did my money go if we didn't have to pay for an auditorium? The studio is not being maintained. It's falling apart and it is filthy. The only good thing there is Beverly. I wish she'd open her own studio.

We have been coming for three months now and my little one asks EVERY morning if we are going to dance today. Alexis and Lindsay are so so patient with these kids. It's not uncommon for them to cry for the first or second class and not once did they make me feel bad about it. They are so calm and patient with them and do everything they can to make them comfortable. If they cry for 10+ minutes, they may ask them to leave the class because they obviously need their parents and it's becoming disruptive for the other children. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. You instantly feel like part of the family, they know your children's names at every class and call them by their name consistently. Very impressed with our time here and looking forward to many years in the Dance Deluxe family. This is very worth checking out, no matter what age your children are!
