I call the warranty company and they tell me the car has NO extended warranty! I call Empire Auto and they tell me they NEVER mentioned a warranty - even though I have photo evidence! Do your research - this dealership has a history of shady business practices including modifying the odometer on cars. STAY AWAY!

I went here looking to see if they could match any of the advertised deals I found in the…read morenewspaper. I was told that all the deals listed in the newspaper were bait and switch ads and that it was not possible that the other dealers had these deals or that they would not have any inventory. They could not come close to matching the advisement as it was impossible. We checked the dealers listed on the advertisement and found that they had plenty of stock and we actually negotiated a lot lower than the advertised priced. Excellence Dodge looks new and clean and the sales people are nice, but it feels fake. It feels like they are talking down to you with a smile. They claim to be the biggest Chrysler dealing in Quebec, but they had no stock and we found they will say anything to sell you a car. It is hard to trust anything they say as truth. Make sure you check more than just one place. Other dealers have specials on their cars at different times of the year, but never here. Also, leasing a car is only possible for business clients, which is where they probably get most of their business from.

Here's my story Bought a used car from them Cruze 2012 . Was handed over the car and it was dirty found stale food in between the seats. The car had a broken sun visor so they had replaced it with one that didn't even fit this car. While doing that they stained the inside of the car with grease / oil on the side . A black trim on the top of my car was broken as well . I noticed all these things which I brought to the attention of my sales person whom if you ask me did not give a care in the world because now that his Commission was made he no longer had to provided service. The sales person didn't even give me all the keys to the car . When he realized that he didn't even call me to let me know . He mailed them to an old address and they were nice enough to send them to my current address which the car dealership had in hand . He wrote a paper and said it was covered with there warranty that someone would reach out within a few days later. 2 months later I had to go through so many calls etc because no one had submitted any request to get the missing pieces to my car. I came across an even more unpleasant man called Taoufik. This gentleman should not be in the customer service industry. He's very aggressive and rude . He finally gave me a appointment to fix my car. So trim, sun visor and a full interior detail. Well I spent 3 hours waiting and I got the trim and sun visor and I was given a spray to put into my car. When I asked about the detailing I was told it was done . Again it wasn't but I'm tired of arguing with these people that I took my keys and left. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. I've had the car for 2months and I I've had to bring it to the garage 2x now and with no help from this company or the warranty on it when I had still had it . I still have to get the car detailed. There was a burning smell in the car a month back that they said they fixed and I let them know it's still there and i was left to deal with that on my own again .

It was in my contract that they would provide winter tires and to call them in October when they received their stock. After several calls to my sales rep and the manager who would "call me back", in the end they tried to sell me a cheap brand of tires for an additional $350 (but they kept saying they were worth $750 so it was a deal), when it was clearly stated in my contract that the tires would be included. Furthermore, when I went to change my summer tires to winter tires after purchasing them independently as I wasn't going to give Auto-Zoom another cent of my money, I was told that my summer tires that were supposedly "1-2 years old", were finished and I should not have been driving on them. Very safe - thanks Auto-Zoom. I would have had a great review to write before the tire saga, but they reneged on our deal, and tried to compensate me with an insulting, dishonest offer. It makes me wonder what else they were dishonest about. Hope it wasn't my car's mileage or even worse, accident history. I'll never know, but what I do know is I'll NEVER trust Auto-Zoom again and will make sure nobody I know does.

He had two of their mechanics test drive it. Both noticed the issue but diagnosed it as 'corrosion on the rotors from sitting on the lot without being driven'. They told me it would 'correct itself' after I had driven a while. Trusting them, I proceeded with the purchase. That was a huge mistake! After driving a few hours, the problem only seemed to worsen. I contacted the dealership. They told me to bring it back when I could and they would take care of it. (By now, I was 4.5 hours away in Ontario). I parked the car, and two weeks later drove it back to Quebec. They kept it for a few days (meanwhile I had to fly home to NL to await the repair). I told them if they couldn't fix it to my satisfaction, I wanted my Mercedes back. About a week later, they claimed it was repaired; said the issue was related to dented rims and unevenly worn tires (which they obviously missed on their first diagnosis) They replaced the rims with a COMPLETELY different style than the originals: black gloss 10 spoke vs. pewter grey 15 spoke on a navy blue car. YUCK! It made the car look ridiculous. Before changing the style of the rims, they didn't even consult me to ask if I wanted different rims. I was not satisfied to take the car and insisted they find rims similar to the original set or else give me my Mercedes back. Wouldn't you know it? They were discontinued. I ended up having to choose a completely different set (better than their choice but not nearly as nice as the originals) because they were now on a time crunch to get it fixed. To make things worse: The sales manager told me that if I wasn't back to pick up the car by the agreed time, they would charge me STORAGE FEES. Meanwhile, the Mercedes that I traded (which they claimed was sold... hence I couldn't get it back) was sitting on their lot the whole time! When I confronted them about it, they claimed the buyer for my Mercedes didn't follow through and if I wanted the Mercedes back, they were now going to charge me FULL RETAIL for it and give me WHOLESALE VALUE for the EOS (after just paying them $3000 plus tax on top of my trade for the EOS). They were requiring that I pay $1500 plus tax to buy back my original car!) I was absolutely repulsed by their corruption. I returned to pick up the EOS a few days later. I insisted they have the car waiting at the airport because I DID NOT want to step foot in that dealership again. When one of their employees delivered the car, he insisted I sign a statement saying I was 'satisfied that the vehicle was repaired' before he turned over the keys. I wasn't even given the option to drive it to make any sort of determination that it was actually repaired before signing the statement. At this point I was so frustrated with the whole process that I signed it just to get away from them! I drove off. The car, although performing a little better, still has a slight shimmy when driving around 50 and 100 kms. This by far was my WORST EXPERIENCE EVER purchasing a car. They are a bunch of lying, greedy, corrupt sorry excuses for humans. I will NEVER buy from them again and I will post this review on every social media outlet I can! Steer clear! These guys are bad news!
